Helldivers 2 just got a New Update. It's a bit controversial though with some changes that people aren't enjoying. Like the new Eruptor nerf. In today's video we go over the patch notes and give you guys our thoughts on everything.

The main fix that I want is simply not letting the bots or bugs clip through terrain, especially heavy devastators as they just absolutely wreck and it’s very frustrating to deal with

@@brn_coffee It takes 2-3x the amount of shots to kill the same amount of enemies. Thats a massive nerf, quite literally doing half the damage it was doing yesterday.

I just got done playing 4 rounds straight with it. That will be the last rounds I play with it until its fixed. This isn't whining and complaining as we are sure to see with this stuff, this is a legit disrespectful nerf.

@@LazyEyePolitics That's just what war is like. Sometimes it turns out a whole lot of ammunition is completely useless due to manufacturing mistakes. Thankfully Helldivers have a plethora of arms to take their pick of and none of them are completely essential.

The Eruptor was excellent when it first launched. I felt its power was balanced by its low maneuverability and ammo count.

And slow rate of fire. But agreed completely. That primary with a Stalwart were my primary kit for solo play, now its not only screwed up but they increased enemy difficulty and count despite it. My negative review for the game is only part Sony, some is this poor decision making at Arrowhead

The only nerf that gun needed was the Ammo reducement from 60 shots to 30. It made me use the weapon more on harder targets instead of fodder enemies like scavangers or something like that. Even the aoe reduce in that same patch was "okay" should not be there but okay. That change now is just uncalled for

Oh yeah it Forsure was ! What’s crazy barely anyone would ever run it when I played on level 7 and 8. Most ran the sickle. This weapon was amazing but using on solo was a challenge so it definitely was balanced.

Before, I could take out small groups with one shot thanks to the rifle, which compensated for its slow rate of fire due to its bolt action system. Now, I can barely shoot at two bugs at the same time, which is terrible considering that the standard sniper rifle is now better than the explosive version, and it's EXPLOSIVE. Each shot should be lethal, or at least be able to remove Charger armor with a few shots. If you're going to make a weapon geared towards individual targets, at least reflect that in its damage and capabilities. I literally need a whole magazine to take out a commander with headshots, and that's inefficient considering you're generally always surrounded by bugs.

@@shasmith502 The reduced magazine count for the laser weapons which already have infinite ammo and also nerfed the mag count for the erruptor and punisher plasma, two weapons that are basically glorified grenade launchers.

My big gripe is the increased patrols for players NOT in a full squad. I play Quickplay and sometimes the “squad” stays at 3, even though the SOS Beacon is deployed. Multiple missions at 3 players. Shouldn’t be penalized for not having a full squad when you can’t get a fourth player.

Yeah and it’s even worse when you’re in a 2 man squad and don’t get reinforcements especially on helldive. It’s also really annoying when you had 3-4 ppl and ppl leave coz they were struggling

It's a genuine issue. Sometimes, if I try and join another player's mission it'll keep putting out error messages and never get me in. I assume that the same happens when no one joins my missions in return

For real there's time I'm playing and I literally have to run from a ln objective because I simply can't do it. I'm being swamped by bug's and despite my turrets and bombs one bug calls backup and I'm back to square one.

All was changed was it was changed for the scale to actually correctly apply. Before it was incorrectly applying the values, now its just a tiny bit larger (~9%) increase.

I really really think they should tone down the ragdoll effects every time some bug touches you. You get stun locked, thrown around dozens of meters sometimes in random directions, and for too long.. without any possibility to do something. You just stare at the screen, contemplating life while being shredded to pieces, your input doesn't matter.. for long stretches of time. Everything is so animation heavy, including healing. Why does it slow you down when you heal yourself? 😑

Fire damage dot 'fixed'. I expect next patch to halve how much flamethrower ammunition you can carry, the fire breaker will have 50% reduced ammo and damage, and the incendiary grenades radius will be reduced by 69%. Can't wait.

Taking the high ground is not an exploit - its basic tactics.. And as a (bad to mediocre) solo player I take every advantage I can get.. Especially after the patrolspawn changes..

There is a real trend coming out here. New warbond weapons come out, its great. By the time the next warbond is out the previous ones are all nerfed. I won’t be buying the next warbond until the following one is out and we can see how things settle.

I think they’re getting better as they go on, cause remember the first 2 warbonds were dogwater, the dominator, incen-breaker, and concussive liberator were all terrible, even the senator sucked. Same with cutting edge, except at least the sickle was good. Democratic detonation had 3 good weapons (the crossbow was usable against bugs, eruptor and grenade pistol) and all the weak warbond weapons got buffs. Nowadays, the incendairy breaker, dominator, senator, sickle, punisher plasma, and blitzer all have a place in line with other weapons, they’ll get it right with the democratic detonation ones eventually too

Not sure what you are talking about. Sickle, punisher plasma, and blitzer are all solid weapon still from cutting edge. Senator and incendiary just got buffed from this patch, and the dominator still dominates bots and they are all from steeled veterans. The only weapon that got an unfortunate change (that is confirmed to be a bug) is the erupter while the adjudicator, explosive xbow, and grenade pistol are all still solid weapons and from democratic detonation. Legit what you are saying is just not true. The only weapons that have been lack luster from the warbonds is the liberator concussive, las pistol, and now the erupter, and even now it's not like they are completely unplayable. The chaff clear the erupter had for grouped enemies was nuts, and im not surprised it got tuned down a lil.

...if they would make it so the bots couldn't land on the cliffs around the base in the Evacuate High-Value Asset defense missions, ignoring the doors and just shooting over them at the generators, then I wouldn't mind not being able to land on high points for the extermination missions.

I recently got into Helldivers and the narrative before I started playing was how good the devs are at listening to the community. Anyways, since I started it feels like every other development team just nerfing everything fun into the ground that none of the community asked for. They been literally doing the opposite of what the community wants lol. Also the bugs and crashes with this game is astronomical. I can't count how many times I've crashed after wasting 30 minutes on a mission. Or the extraction ship just falling through the map with 50 samples on me.. They need to focus on that.

All my buddies left because the new enemies naturally make it harder. Then they nerf stuff. Buff enemies. Make enemies spawn more. People loved the game because it was wacky. It had a very 'game' like quality that encouraged you to not take it so seriously. The approach they seem to have now is the polar opposite of that.

I didn't find the Eruptor shrapnel to be an issue at all. I team killed once or twice with it. Learned quickly to be more careful about where my teammates were in relation to my targets when using that gun. I killed myself with it a couple of times. But that was only because I accidently swapped to it during a chaotic CQ fight. And I found it to be a funny moment when it happened. I really hope they revert that change.

The shrapnel could randomly explode your diver when you were aiming 100m away. Pull the trigger and *boom* you’re diced spaghetti. Apparently it was a recent change that caused the shrapnel to return to sender frequently.

They buffed the first two war bonds and the AR in the most recent war bond. I would look at everything altogether, not just a few things that lie within your perceived expectations. I agree they haven’t been perfect, not sure how they could but good news is they can always buff things at any point.

@@BKRandy94 tell me more about the first two war bonds what did they buff exactly? Which AR are you talking about? The liberator that got bumped up from 55 damage to 60? Slight buffs compared significant nerfs to the guns that are most used or popular. Since you bring my perceived expectations, when I first heard of this game and started playing it coming from Fortnite, cod, rainbow six siege where those games have metas and always changes (nerfs and buffs) PVP in those games makes sense but this game Helldivers a PvE it’s silly to nerf guns that are popular because devs don’t want a load out to be a meta, it’s paradox as soon as you nerf a certain loadout there will be another loadout that will be popular as the last and then what nerf that too? Again and again? No hate towards the dev but at the same time just because we love the game doesn’t mean it is flawless and it needs feedback.

do you buy the new content just to have more powerful weapons? so you want the game to be pay to win? makes no sense to me. new weapons should bring in more options without being stronger or weaker than the stuff that's already there. as a siege player, you should know how annoying it is when the new op every season is always better than what's already in the game. of course there is going to be some changes that don't always work out, but most of the guns in HD2 are balanced or just need a small tweak in either direction, and that's pretty good.

@@laatrommi no I buy the new content to look forward to unlocking and getting guns that are fun and I see where your coming from but then again it’s not a PvP competitive game. On top of that either being pay to win or not, unless the gun is absolutely broken it’s not a guaranteed weapon to help you win the game. It’s about the fun factor and effectiveness. What I’m trying to say is that shooting the guns and the guns being fun or feeling like it’s awesome will make me enjoy the game more. Before they were patching guns I was really happy with the guns I was using because I’m the aggressive type of player that likes automatic guns. Anyways personally this game doesn’t make sense to have a “meta”

I haven't tested it yet but I love using the eruptor to kill multiple bugs. I would fire it into a group of bugs and get 3 or more kills everytime.

Only time that works now is with the small scavenger bugs if you are lucky and land the shot in between all of them and maybe you’ll get 3. Pre-nerf you could kill multiple medium enemies with one shot. Hell the highest amount I got pre-nerf in one shot was 12 kills, followed up by another shot that killed 8.

literally just unlocked the Eruptor the day before the patch :( Was so fun to use on the missions that night, now I can't clear anything, the bullet either bounces off the ground, or only kills 3 enemies.

Worse: It was not the "host" it was the "network owner". So if I join my friends game, he is "session host" and can kick people, but I am "network host" since I got the better connection. Now my fire/acid deals damage over time (which I didn't bring), but he did and they don't deal damage over time now. It is a HUGE fix.

Yeah, I won't be buying any more super credits for passes. They need to buff the tons and tons of bad weapons they have, instead of releasing ones that are actually effective, calling them OP, and nerfing them into the ground. Dude, this is a buff to the eruptor, what are you on about? There are reasons why they buffed shriekers detection ranges and the hearing range of the gunships. Because shriekers have become a non-enemy due to people blowing up their nests from afar and gunships just homed in on 1 guy all the time because of how their vision works. The erruptors shrapnel also killed more allies than enemies. Now it has just its explosion which even got buffed.

They don’t have a PTB or anything like that where they can stress test everything they need. They’ve admitted so many times they were not at all prepared for it being as popular not only as it was. But as it still is even with all the controversy every week. So I imagine they’re just still not prepared. We are their stress test. And that’s exactly what we signed up for as a citizen of super earth.

1000 super credits for nothing. Adjudicator is crappy, Crossbow is kinda useless, and now Eruptor the only super cool unique weapon that was actually perfect the way it was when it came. Its a bolt action rifle with super slow reload, bolting and innacurate at best. Borderline useless in close range. It was good for taking out blobed chaff yet it could take out bigger enemies. The BEST thing to me was that, along with ability to destroy bug holes/fabricators. I barely used my granades with this weapon. Coupled wkth the flametrower it was a very good combo that could take on most enemies while having very noticable drawbacks that you must work around. Just not fair how they nerf every weapon that is good... its getting to a point that I dont thrust new weapons are any use. I would rather see strategems.

@JAy-dx1xb What actually happened, is that Arrowhead in their “infinite wisdom” added magic forcefield bullet deflection to all armor bounces. So even if you glance a shot off armor, it will magically bounce back at you. This adversely affected the shrapnel the eruptor makes, so the shots started magically bouncing into players like bloodhounds when they got deflected. Thus the rise in teamkills with it. I never noticed it until after they did that dumb change. Its just like with the railgun nerfhammering into the ground. They blamed the gun, when in reality, it was a completely different problem all together.

The adjudicator is pretty usable now. It can chew through bots better than most of the assault rifles. If you keep it to 2-3 round bursts you can take down devastators, chainsaw, little bots very quickly The grenade pistol is extremely helpful. I do think they went too far with the eruptor. It felt like the perfect balance of power and technique. Now it feels flaccid. Crossbow I'm not going to unlock untill they make it viable.

I wish they would fix the reload in this game. There have been too many times where I would press reload and nothing happens, and I find out after I’m being attacked that the weapon is still empty. There is some inconsistency three for some reason.

On Helldive difficulty I completed every objective & wiped out every enemy in sight, got to extraction with 8 minutes left with not 1 enemy in sight. Soon as i called for extraction, countless waves of bots spawned out of nowhere. For 8 minutes i had to fight literal aimbots who made it impossible for me to get close to the extract area. There was nowhere to run to, next to zero cover, i had no more ammo, no more stims & all strategems were unavailable, as i was pushed into emergency time. I of course eventually died, not because of a skill issue but because of how backwards, unfair & far from fun the devs have made the game.

@@isaac6077 But most surfaces we fire at are at an angle. While it *may* still happen, even an .. lets say 12° angle wouldnt reflect right back at you unless your firing point blanc. But tbh, by now I didnt really notice me dying from ricochets.. Grenades bouncing off enemies and exploding in my face , or my Bullets grazing a charger and killing my friend for example - yes, it happened.. not only once.. but my bullets being flung right back to and killing me? Cant remember that happening..

I think even the devs weren’t aware of the damage over time bug for a while. Just think to how many buffs we’ve gotten to flamethrowers and “flames from strategems” and such. Entire planets are about to be entirely covered in flames once word gets out they’ve been unintentionally nerfed their entire helldivers experience.

This is why I never got interested in democratic detonation. Two very mid weapons, one of them getting nerfed and the only good one ended up broken only to get nerfed to the ground. Definitely not spending my credits on it and I'll wait some time after the next one comes out in case the same thing happens. I'll be happy with my arc blitzer and sickle.

Ammo nerf was needed tbh, but I’d say down to 8 instead of 6 but even then I never fully ran out of ammo, and for context I tend not to die often so I’m not even getting refreshed from respawning. But this last nerf killed it completely. It’s just a worse version of the dominator now

Nobody wants to use those weapons because most of them aren't fun to use, or they just take FOREVER to kill anything above the smallest enemies. They shouldn't be nerfing the fun stuff, they should be buffing the bad stuff so you can actually have true variety, AND fun. We shouldn't have to trade fun for variety when we can have both, especially since they keep buffing the enemies, while making us weaker every patch

The reloading bug has been a big problem recently for me, as I am a Breaker user against Terminids, and I am usually surrounded when my mag runs out and I have to reload twice!

i mean the quasar got debuffed on time to shoot and the last time i destroyed a shrieker nest it took 3 shots for each head, it was 2 or 3 so thats 9 shots times the time to shoot while still being attacked by them, since t didnt one shot at distance so i tryed to get closer to see it if it had damage falloff by the distance. Also sometimes 3 shots to the bigest bug in the body or heads seems to now most times not kill it.

I agree with you on the reloads. It seems like, when you reload, if you pull the trigger before the animation ends, for some reason, it cancels the reload. That happens to me, a lot also.

Im an eruptor main, after the change that brought the rebound i was decapitating myself from absurd distances. Happend 30 or so meters multiple times. I didnt know just how much damage the shrapnel was doing until this change. The detonator war bond was the first one i paid real money for, i regret this purchase.

The funniest crosshair bug I had (several times before the patch) was that I was shooting 90° to my right and with the Eruptor more often than not unalive myself by accident. It was less about the shrapnels and more about my Helldiver not knowing that the bullets come out of the slim end. As for a bug that is REALLY getting on my nerves, and I mean excessively so is that the game rebinds my Y and Z key due to my selected language. Do keep in mind that I as a European have a QWERTZ layout, so putting prone onto Z every time really screws me over hard. I've reported the bug before multiple times but it's still in the game. It's so frustrating that I put it on Q and had the voice chat end up on Z. Y is simply unusable to me, as after every reset anything I bind to Y is automatically bound to Z, it's about the language I selected, but I'd rather go on a difficulty 9 mission with nothing but melee than changing my language off of English.

I've been having constant potstickers with eagle airburst too. It no longer runs perpendicular to the direction you are facing every time, and you also get random scatter of bombs on top of that. The number of times that I have thrown it and run directly away from it to still get blown up is obscene. This never used to happen. It used to be both reliable and amazing, and now it's a 50/50 shot of being a complete dumpster fire that barely even hits enemies clustered around the beacon and gets me killed instead.

Spitz, the CM berating players and giving dumb thoughtless advice all around? The point of community manager is to work as public face of company to customers/community and convey information in both ways between community and the company as a middle man, and work both as diplomat and as arbitrator in various situations, sometimes dealing w good news, sometimes bad. Spitz clearly was not up the task, and seems there are quite a few others in the HD moderator side who are not either. Good riddance. E.g. their CEO has been way better in messaging and being diplomat towards at times (angry) customer base than than their community team has been. Whose actual main job is suppose to deal with the community.

Shrieker nest fix seemed obvious to me, upon being shot make the nest dispense shriekers to defend their spawn in point towards direction of the shot. 🤷‍♂ Like poking a bee hive or wasp nest, make it sensitive to attacks

I actually had an account yesterday with the eruptor yesterday where I shot a warrior from around 20 meters away from me and I got 1 tapped by the shrapnel (when I was wearing heavy armor). I’m actually interested to see how good the eruptor plays now.

Shriekers are either not an issue (far away and can be EATed) or oppressive when you spawn into a blitz with 2 separate nests close enough to you to spawn.

This eruptor issue was probably caused by how they changed bullet behavior vs armored targets. It was fine before, but now that bullets hit helldivers more from ricochets, it started causing more problems.

They need to just make Twinbeard the new Head Community Manager, he's like the only CM that doesn't seem to consistently antagonize people on the HD2 discord (**cough** Spitz and Baskinator **cough cough**) Also, I would've expected the Eruptor only generating an explosion in a wider radius with increased damage to be an all around buff (at least in terms of consistency and mob clear), but from what I've been able to tell it's underperforming to a terrible degree, the gun's basically been castrated. I hope the HD2 devs are just experimenting with a shrapnel-less eruptor for now and if that doesn't work out, end up just rolling back the Eruptor to when it still had shrapnel.

The problem is AOE dropoff makes explosion damage worthless for anything other than the weak-point modifier. I used to be able to kill a tight pack of hunters with a single well placed shot. Now I'm using 1-2 rounds on each of the bastards. Feels like a worse dominator loaded with the concussive liberator gimmick bullets.

Ive experienced the shrapnel self kill once. Hit a chainsaw bot very far away and just instantly died, despite all ranged bots and teammates dead. Thats one out of at least a dozen hours if gameplay. Probablt closer to 2 dozen. It was worth the risk.

No idea what you mean, I only run helldive and with a half decent squad I have no issues completing all main and secondary objectives and still extracting with 10+ minutes on the clock. Even with just 1 other competent player we can carry 2 new players while completing all objectives without issue

It's the same with The ancient gods part 1 DLC for Doom Eternal.. It's hard and even the director Hugo Martin said they overdone it, and play testers were exhausted before the final boss. It had pacing problems, and I think this game also has pacing problems, amongst other balancing problems that guys on this channel mentioned. I also don't like the over-exaggerated ragdoll effects, for example. 😅

@@WholesomePotato1 thanks for the reply, that makes more sense! Totally agree about the ragdoll, I can't even count how many times my character has tripped on a 2 foot tall rock activating the ragdoll effect and then a scavenger or hunter kills me before I can stand up!

All they had to do was fix the ricochet so it wouldn't kill you from that far away. Damage was fine, they could have either left the shrapnel damage as-is or take away shrapnel and make explosive stronger. They said they did the latter, which is a joke since you can't even one shot a small warrior from distance now.

@@paradigmshift7 The shrapnel didn't do anything 90% of the time anyway because it either hit an armor plate or just flew off into the distance, probably into your mates leg somewhere 50 meters away. Arrowhead buffed the explosion damage by 40 because of it. This is just a buff.

Usually my first warning that there is a Shreiker nest nearby is when some random triggers the spawning, so I usually don't get a chance to destroy them from a distance before they can spawn anything anyhow. 🤣

i loved the eruptor, but i think im starting to understand what theyre going for. theyre trying to get people to be more adaptable. they always nerf things that everyone uses, so ive been making a point to use things that no one uses, that way i avoid the disappointment when that particular weapon inevitably gets nerfed. the blitzer, against terminids*, is actually really freaking good and i would recommend it if it meant not everyone starts using it and it gets nerfed because of it

Good and is the best AR for me personally because of mag size, damage and good recoil Adjudicator? Also not bad but even after the recoil buff it's immensely inaccurate and has only 25 mag capacity Buckshot shotgun - really good, but i just like ARs more All of the marksman rifles - mid as fuck and not fun especially when everything you try to shoot at on the Automaton front (where they're actually useful) flinches you into next Sunday Eruptor - WAS just a really good sniper rifle that could get multiple enemies at once and clear hordes of small bugs AND was a lot of fun - now it's useless Crossbow was always fucking horrendous And other guns I haven't gotten my hands on yet since I can't farm enough SC with uni and other shit occupying me My point - they nerf effective weapons so we would buy the next fucking warbond and NOT because they want us to use other guns If they wanted THAT they'd at least make other guns viable

Honestly? It still encourages meta picks and discourages diversity in weapon choices. Unless you have X and Y, you will have a bad time, especially true with a more brutal spawn rate that gets exponentially harder late game.

I had an absolute blast with the eruptor and the arc thrower and the railgun and the slugger before they made them nigh unusable. It feels like they are just making it harder and harder to enjoy the game with each passing nerf. Nothing can take away the fun times I did have with those guns in their prime and I have an understanding of what they should feel like before they are nerfed into something completely different

@RugsterClaps PVP needs a balance of fairness amongst players a pve game does not. Buff weapons make new enemies make new maps, and the game will not get stale it will thrive. Release new weapons and armors every now and then cool.It's basic common knowledge in the gaming community. What won't work is changing all the weapons weekly predominantly making them worse if not completely making them useless while also buffing enemies.

@RugsterClaps my narrow minded view is the same view as most of the gaming community. A pvp game needs fairness and balance. A pve game needs useful tools to complete goals. Last week in helldivers I had a hammer this week that same hammer is now a screwdriver and it's my job to figure out how to make it work. That is not preventing a game from getting stale. it's just over complicating it, which in itself has killed multiple titles in the gaming industry. If a poll went up right now, about 80 percent of the player base would say that they are more worried when a patch comes out than excited, which is a major issue for any gaming community, to think anything otherwise would truly be narrow minded.

Prior eruptor main here. I'm putting the old gal back on the armory wall for a spell or until they fix it up again. I don't like that the gun I grew to love is now less useful but I am now happily using other guns again to find my next favorite. The incindary shotgun is winning by a lot for bugs and the sickle or scorcher on bots now. I was rocking the laser cannon with my eruptor but now I am back to experimenting. It's all revolving around the grenade pistol for me now as I got used to running stun grenades. If I can get away from stun grenade, then I can mess with other secondaries again.

I noticed the eruptor seemed really anemic this morning after the update. I did have a lot of trouble with the shrapnel killing me. Even when shooting something like a brood commander head sometimes would insta kill me. The DOT being fixed is awesome, so much better and makes up for it. Also been enjoying other weapons tbh

For those that don’t see what they are doing let me help. You pay for the war bond, they nerf the guns. That way when they come out with other war bonds you’ll buy those cause your old guns are crap. It’s a money thing

I don't think it's malicious intent but they're a little lost with balancing. They're nerfing the guns like if we were in a PvP game. But bots feel no frustration. They should let the guns feel strong and if anything buff the enemies.

I didnt pay for any warbond by now.. But if they want to become that nefarious (as in : nearly every 2nd gamecompany with any microtransactions) theyll just reduce the amount of SC you can/will find while playing.. Or remove them alltogether. After that you'll have a point.

The bug fix for the explosion knockback also nerfed the Eruptor with the shrapnel then to lose the extreme increased headshot potential is devastating

eruptor was kinda nice, but yall are sleeping on all the other weapons and it shows. nerfs and buffs are normal, if it was so good that no one else wants to use other weapons, then it makes sense to tweak it accordingly. just because the eruptor is weaker, doesn't make it unusable. they've clearly wanted it to occupy a more narrow niche role than before, so it is going to be less effective. why people are shitting their pants is beyond me especially when theres such a wide selection of alternatives.

When the eruptor dropped it opened up how I could use other support, sidearm and grenade combinations to great effect. Having a niche but reliable way to close objectives gave me alot of flexibility. Now I have a primary that has way to many negatives to take out. I'ill be back to using the same 4 primaries everyone else takes. I don't see this as a win.

@@splashyatom22 i waited to reply until i had a bit more time with the patch. The comment still holds water. I did 3 dives on challenging (Terminids, solo bc my matchmaking is broken it seems). It was a struggle the whole way thru. It will close holes but that's about all the eruptor is now good for. Some warriors surviving direct impact, hive guards surviving multiple critical shots between their head and leg area. The AOE is seemingly non existent and has no stagger besides a direct impact. The ricochet change brought in a technical bug, and the eruptor got gutted bc of it. I'd like to point out that the detonation warbond (first one i paid real money for) has very little fun and usable on higher difficulty options besides the grenade pistol. 200 hours so far and I never see anyone use the crossbow that for some reason doesn't close objectives. It's time to put my much loved stun nade away and grab a conventional grenade to close objectives. The at release eruptor (and the half mag count version) was enough fun and utility to take out and explore other sidearm, nade and support weapon combinations. I don't see this as a win for us helldivers.

I like a greater shrieker range. Fun gameplay occurs when you have competing objectives. Do I kill the side objective or stop the shriekers? It's also organic and unexpected based on map generation.

The first erupter nerf I didn’t really notice. I never survived long enough to use all 60 rounds without finding ammo. This nerf however is such a bummer. I LOVED the comical nature of learning the erupters ranges

What annoys me the most about not being able to land on tall rocks anymore, is it has essentially rolled back the fix several patches ago where it would disable steering around certain things. Most of the time if you die by any rock, you just can't steer at all
