Helldivers 2 has added new horrific enemy AT-AT Walkers and Gunships. These things are HARD as nails on Helldive difficulty. Let's play with @Tomographic @Stodeh Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
Welcome back to hell. The way that devs delivery their new contents to the game is amazing and it's in a way we have never seen before. Half of the new things (so far) are not included in the patch note!
I mean I'm all for keeping things in the patch-notes but I also do like these sneaky things they leave out. Albeit I hope they at least stay with keeping most of the important information in the patch notes, such as new additions to the game (at least mention that something has been added, be it weapons, enemy types, mission types, etc), numerical updates to stats, balance updates, and similar things that are rather hidden to the player at first glance. It's a nice breath of fresh air to have quite large updates like these at a rather rapid pace as well. It's only two months into the game's life-time and there's already been plenty of additions for both the enemies and the players, and based on what I've heard there's even more to come!
I like how the walker looks like something that could be designed mid 80s for a movie, simple design made from simple materials for practical effects. Instead of it being overdesigned to a modern standard.
wish there was a pelican overwatch strategem. Imagine you are holding your ground and a pelican ship comes flying in shooting rockets and its cannon at automatons, it would be cool to see.
The Pelican will actually do this if you leave the extraction area just as it arrives! They complain on the radio about lack of helldivers, abort landing, then follow you around autocannoning whatever might catch their eye
@@eliaskouakou7051Because automatons having factories that pump out 8 hovering death drones a minute is perfectly fine, but how dare I call for some close air to air
The latest patch really make armor feel so different. A light one can out run almost everything in the game but a warrior can two hit you and a heavy devastator kills you in a second. Meanwhile a heavy one is can take multiple rockets and random shoots is just a tickle but also not only is very slow but you can barely sprint before being out of stamina
That's why I love this game. Your build is simple but matters in a lot of ways. That's why I was glad they smashed the meta. I hate metas. I love when developers allow us to be creative and effective at the same time
I use heavy armor. When things are fubar I'll be rolled on the ground unable to get up over and over until dead. If I'm lucky they blow me over a hill and I might have a chance to get up.
Another fun fact about this game is that the voice actor for helldiver voice pack 2 is Yuri Lowenthal, commonly known for his work as Peter Parker in the Spider Man playstation games.
Armed with heavy laser-cannons, could deploy Automatons in combat while moving, and covered with heavily reinforced armor (Materials are likely titanium and tungsten alloy). So yeah, it sends chills to our spines
@@CharlesUrbanclean your ps5 then. I play it and I have literally zero issues with overheating or game shut downs (the game shut downs but that is the games fault, not ps5 fault)
The qasar cannon is just way too strong tho. One-shotting hulks and infinite ammo? That makes it super easy. And if it's less challenging, it's less fun.
@@genevievegelinas4497 only one shots with head shots every thing else is 2 shots. Also the gun is good against bots but worse against bugs because you don't have enough time to get the shot off if you are getting rushed
@@happyrogue5790 It'll one shot Hulks if you can get their back too. Main thing I find annoying with the Quasar is the charge up effect obscures the sight quite a bit, so if you're trying for a headshot on a Hulk from a decent distance it can rely on luck quite a bit.
I really don't like the idea of them doing collabs with anyone. They should be grounded in their own world, we don't need skins or anything from other franchises. References and other little nods are fine though, as long as they're not pulling any multiverse stuff.
@@epickillianagree 100% they have a great world they built obviously picking the best from a lot of franchises but they need to stick with it and just throw in nods
My experience with the new At At mega Bot, was seeing the factory where it was laying down, it started to activate, and we threw about 3 Orbital lasers, and 2 Orbital rail cannons all at the same time as it slowly tried to stand up and start to activate...We sat it back down dead before it got to shoot a shot. that was it. 20 maps later wondering if were gonna see another one....then the Bots got fully wiped...now its over. That one experience was kinda cool though...
Other games: Heres all the new stuff in a paragraph on a website Arrowhead: Lmao we put an AT-AT secretly in missions in the new major order we started ingame
I saw the enemy gunship today not knowing what it was. I took my chances though with the Gustav and got a clean shot on it. Only just figured out it was a new enemy
1:32 Good for Wilbert Roget II, I remember thinking the music for WWII was underappreciated because it was in a mid-grade Call of Duty game. Glad to see his style getting some love.
Feels silly and goofy to fly down in a Pod and slam into the ground so ya can use 5 seconds of time on the ground to jump into the Extract Ship to fly right back up. XD
The premise of this game is so simple but the devs have made this game so much fun to play especially when you're in a squad with friends and on voice comms. It's a freaking blast.
This game really hit the nail on the head with the live service model. First game in a long time like this that I've actually stuck around for even after finishing all the grinding.
18:22 I've seen conflicting info about that one, I'm sure that you can prevent bug breaches too. I mean, Tomo himself described how to prevent them on Aculite's mech video..
The vents you're looking for are on the top of the walker near the rear. They pop up for a period of time to "cool off" that's when you need to target them.
HMG or Laser Cannon at the rear of the tank body kills it btw... If you find yourself unable to hit the turret weakspot, but have an angle of the backside. Takes a bit longer, but eventually kills it. Also for gunships, Laser Cannon is a free and easy way to deal with them. Just hit the engines.
This is what video game really is. Just give the player an objective and let them figure out how to get it done. No on screen guidelines, no nothing. Also 8:24 Jack nearly got killed by a big automatron and then immediately screamed "Freedom never sleeps" was pure metal.
Tomo, you can actually stealth around them very easily. You can also prevent breaches just like the automatons bot drops. You have to kill specific bugs.
Were the scout striders buffed recently? I could've sworn light pen rounds used to penetrate the base of their walkers, but now even medium pen rounds ricochet off of anything that's not the driver themselves. I just unlocked difficulty 7, could that have to do with it?
