Just tried buffed rocket sentry, it's so fu*ing good, it can take 2 BILE TITANS by itself, it's super strong now, just make sure to place it far from your target
I almost took out 3 bile titans with it. It does so much damage to their heads/bodies that finishing off the bile titan with a grenade pistol to its sacks was possible
I mean infinite spawns make sense you’re drilling into their nursery chamber where all the eggs are so of course they’d send endless waves to try and stop you
Fyi the mission glitch thing is real, and not just for this mission. Terminals will randomly not work from time to time. Had it happen in an ICBM mission where the ICBM terminal just wouldn't turn on. Had it happen in a vein verification mission as well - one of the sub-objectives just would not allow the terminal to be activated, so I had to return the squad to the ship and restart the mission. Seen reports on reddit of terminals not working as well. On the funnier side, another vein verification mission just had a giant question mark drop instead of the drill lmao. Also AH definitely messed up spawns - some missions have wayyyy more enemies than others. Like never-ending numbers of enemies. Some bot missions had bots as far as the eye could see between back to back bot drops and 4-5 patrols incoming every 30 seconds.
Yeah it happens more often than I would like. Some times if you can't use a terminal, other people can. Some times it might just be one person on the team, so everyone can try. Though a lot of time even then it is broken.
For me it's the retrieve essential data. The one where you have to pick up and transport the SSD. The terminal will bug and after I press all the buttons it just locks up with all the arrows gold since I completed them. I have to have my friend finish it and he will press one or two of them and it will complete, very strange. I assume it's a desync issue, but it almost only ever happens on that specific objective and it happens more often than not for me.
@@eq2lornick Those question marks have been showing up in most of the games since the patch for me. In fact the game seems to be fairly unstable lately.
Yeah I had it happen before even the big patch on an ICBM mission. It fixed itself randomly on 2 occasions from my experience with it. One person left and it fixed itself, and the other from an unknown reason.
At about 31:45 you said, "I hit the stim like 8 times...Stick that frickin needle in your neck dude!." I said the same sentence word for word only with more cursing. 😂
I have an idea that could be interesting: Heavy stim armor Supply pack New booster for stims that reduces damage taken and speed increase Run into a swarm and see how long you could last with whichever weapons of your choosing.
Heavy armor with buffs that allows you to stay more healed+giving you like 2 more stims would be pretty awesome since you are already lackin from speed+you cant rely on the strats since ur prone to die from them(bug front when ur swarmed)
so on my first time on this mission, none of our team knew they exploded after. all 3 died but i got flung because my shield pack absorbed the explosion
I thought my way through hell to get to the terminal to do the final activation noing I was gonna die and then I see that I can’t interact with it, pain.
My last run I blew up one of the nurseries fine, the second nursery I defended the drill but I got pushed away due to the copious amounts of bugs and ended up dying. I respawned and got back to where the terminal was supposed to be, but there was a giant hole as if I had already initiated the explosion, and in the top right it said objective wasn’t done and it still wanted me to start the explosion so I had to abandon the mission. Really frustrating when I get these bugs that don’t let me finish the mission so often.
@@LordVader69420 Still one of the funnest games out there tbh, once they fix all the bs, get the balancing under control and give us a lot more varied missions it'll be up there with destiny imo
on dif 9 4 players its really not bad. Its actually pretty easy if you can crowd control and you can split your team to do different ones at the same time, but thats betting on the terminal not breaking.
Even early in the video I could see the difference with the flamethrower and thought I was seeing things, dang that's a difficult mission if not nearly impossible atm.
I had my entire mission bug out on me last night. You name it: spontaneous combustion, squadmates falling through the terrain, squadmates rubber banding across the entire map, buttons disabled, interactions disabled, squadmate gliding across the ground while in saluting emote, squadmates games crashing, my game crashing. All of that was my whacky experience with the nuke nursery mission last night.
The ol' classic run and gun solo for lvl 9 worked wonders... Recoiless AT for support (for those far away shrieker nests and chargers +titans), plus bombs and 500kg eagle, and a wildcard orbital railcannon. Main was Inc.breaker/grenade pistol/impact inc. grenades with a scout armor for slipping between the patrols. Also, the drills are pretty tanky but they can be damaged/destroyed. Also-also, whenever a countdown appears its better to make a run for it in this game....
Charger Behemoths have more body and head health than regulars but they have the same leg health hence why using the flamethrower takes the same amount of time. If using an at like the quasar or rr, aim for the leg since it'll strip the armour in one hit and you can use your primary to finish it off.
@@Rocket_Devastator I would love some of the drugs you guys are using then, I was super hyped for the patch only to play it and get disappointed. I'm level 123 and play only 9 for both factions
I actually think this is one of the easiest for Solo Helldiving. The drill cannot be really destroyed, receiving damage in the drilling process will just reset it. Also after drilling, you can damage it as much as you want to clear the bug nearby so you can press the button.
Idk if it's just this mission, or the armored enemy balance making things more difficult. There's WAY more chaff to mow through now, and noticeably less Bile Titans and Chargers to deal with, even only on 6 difficulty. I've noticed my average kill count per dive go up by about 100 and extraction is hectic far more often since the update. From the patch notes: "Armored enemy balance We have toned down the amount of heavily armored enemies like Bile Titans, Chargers on higher difficulties and instead spawn more hordes of smaller enemies, the difference should be quite noticeable and the amount should be at least 30% less than before during bug breaches. We have also toned down slightly how many Hulks that spawn for the Automatons. Our intent is to ease up on the demand of anti-tank weapons and by having more of the other enemies give a better incentive for the group to bring stratagems and weapons that take care of hordes."
it is HELL in group play too, i use to join mission and everytime i join a group of 4 we only have 3 reinforcement left, its hard as helll but to anyone playing it i would recommend the use of gas strike and napalm rum for wider and constant damage
Is it just me, or is this game wildy inconsistent now. I play helldive only unless I'm testing out some crappy weapons. One round will be super easy, then another there seems to be endless patrols and enemies popping up. On helldive yesterday, I had only one teammate, he left, I threw down SOS, only one guy joined (glitched join mechanics?), and we proceeded to deal with endless behemoth spawns. Every patrol had a behemoth, and more just kept popping up. Buddy accidentally brought laser cannon instead of quasar, and I had arc thrower, so we could only kill them using airstrikes. It takes like 20 shots from arc thrower to kill ONE behemoth. I had a 500kg land in one's back, and it didn't die. It still had like 30 seconds before it bled out, and I was still shooting at it. Who designed this game? I've had rounds for both factions where we complete the main objective and just walk back to the evac with no enemies or partols, literally zero enemies. I was testing the crossbow on difficulty 7 one round against the bots, the game ended, and I had no stims because buddy dropped the resupply in some random area, and I was the only one left, and there were endless partols that spawned in every direction I turned. I didn't make it out alive. Something is definitely fucky. Anyone else notice something is off with the spawns?
Game is completely f-up. I was trying literally 3 days to play and complete a single game, and it just won't happened. Game crashes, people leaving, enemies lagging, terminals lagging, weapons are crap, stratagems are crap, warbounds are crap, these f-ing behemoths are everywhere. Why? Just why. I'm so sick of it.
my strat is: activate it, then let they mob, then gas strike the center, run arround and go in. easy solo. can even do your stun grenade thing or spam stims to survive the poison. done it a few times and was pretty chill
I’d say it’s worth it with the short range of the flamethrower or the range of the quasar cannon. It’s two separate styles of play, and the closer you are the more skill you need.
I kind of disagree with the Supply Pack being bad for this load out. I generally am playing a supportish role where I play the edge of the map, hitting all the minor objectives, finding the super rares, showing up really only for big objective fights. In this situation I really don't get to benefit a lot from the Supply Drops, so the Pack can come in really clutch for keeping me going longer without having to rejoin the squad, and it also lets me top off my team when needed. There is also a big benefit from pushing for the ship module that buffs your damage on the Flamethrower, as it lowers your kill time on a Charger by a second.
Supply Pack is undoubtedly good in group dives where you have a way to stay stocked while separated from the others. Plus, being able to supply teammates when they need it is a nice bonus. For solo dives, I've gotten away without them to make room for another strategem, since I can always call my own resupplies anyway.
I kinda don’t understand how they keep narrowing down our options for support weapons. They made anti tank weapons worse by making the behemoth charger absorb more shots from them, so the flamethrower (which kills them in a fairly similar time to normal chargers) is the best option
Shriekers are pretty much ok, but I agree about behemoths, they number should be about the same as the normal charger's on helldive and lower on other difficulties
I feel like the enemy balance changes made it worse. We still need something to deal with Bile Titans (obviously) but more to deal with Chargers and more for the billion other bugs.
The 500kg feels so frustratingly weak. It should do so much more damage, but most of the time enemies just walk out of the explosion or don't even react
would you like to do video talking about what weapons are viable etc.? a lot of people took a break from the game including me but i wanna get back into it now and i have no idea what to play/buy
Man I really wish this mission would be the one to introduce hive lords… I thought it would be another few months until this mission would appear, and therefore give AH the time to flesh out the lords… but alas… it’s another hollow meridia mission…😢
I think the bug breaches aren‘t infinite, I had a game yesterday were they kept spawning for around 5 minutes and we used half of our reinforcements, but then it stopped. Also Anti-Tanks still strip Behemoths’ leg armor in one shot, which is the same as it was at launch
13 shots on the regular breaker. in the buff patch this weapon was forgotten. even if it had 16 shots again like in the beginning it would still underperform compared to the incediery breaker.
its kinda easy completed it my first time with zero idea what to do. I did do it with like 1 random guy and we took the full time and ran out of reinforcements but its honestly not that bad, I brought 500kg gatling tesla tower and rocket mech. id probably bring orbital ems if I were to do it solo
Anyone else feel like the spawn rates increased instead of reverting? This isn't a complaint, I was just super surprised in game! A hunter flew at me and it turned into 4 when it landed! Hilarious
Options -> Display -> Render scale. Set it to performance and you will get some FPS back. I believe the default setting is "balanced". Press F5 to see your current FPS to compare.
This mission is bugged ( Arrowhead at it finest) bugs spawns only once when u start drill ( OFC IT MUST BE LIKE THOSE HELL ON MERIDIA= 5-6 spawns near a drill) - then u die and run away - return - drill starts from 50% and then 0 bugs spawns when u start drill again. If those spawns would not fixed ( for the all pure love of sweet Democrasy) AGAIN it is new mission that isn`t FUN, just again suffer vs endless hordes near you. Idk what to say about it. IMHO - I`m freaking love this game, but man... Arrowhead need more dev`s and more close-beta-testers.
They did make a buged mission again - yep, that's true. But when they fixed Meridia's missions, they became one of the most epic and fun in the game. So, I expect devs to do the same with these ones:)
I think the guard dog laser is gonna be really good for these. Flamethrower for chargers, primary for small enemies, grenade pistol for utility, stun grenades because duh, something for titans, and guard dog for AA support and so you can save primary ammo. Also, dog reveal wen
I'm much happier to deal with even two behemoths than just one bile titan in most circumstances, there's simply more stratagems that work on chargers, and chargers are much less oppressive even when you don't have the perfect tool. Against bile titans you are forced to run away if you don't have the correct tool, against chargers you can hold your ground somewhat and just juke their charge with good footwork. So, if the cost of having less bile titans is having more behemoths, I'm here for it.
Idk, like takibo said they basically just made the flamethrower mandatory now. If it were regular chargers I'd agree, but these things don't go down to any stratagems, not even a 500kg that lands directly on it
@@ferdithetank7535 Spear has 4 shots... You're going to be relying on teammates a LOT cuz those 4 will be gone real quick and the reload is extremely dangerous with the amount of chargers and broods around pressing w. Flamethrower, EATs, 500kg, and orbital gatling barrage is a very solid loadout to deal with anything imo Also, being able to one shot them and actually one shooting them are 2 very different things. You're not going to get a one shit kill on Titans or chargers very consistently
@@RepublicofODLUM true, Spear's ammo economy isn't great, especially with resupply ship module being broken again. It is, however, a viable option that deals with both behemoths AND titans, unlike flamethrower. Packing precision strike, orbital railcannon or even rocket sentry helps too.
I also only recently turned off auto climb, I've had enough of it. I would much rather get stuck on something unexpected and be able to react within a second than be stuck in a climb animation when I didn't want to climb, or expecting my character to climb only for it to not climb.
Idk whether its placebo or not but I feel like my ability to climb my way up small rock formations and rubble has been way better since turning autoclimb off.
Tapped with the super stim booster? You’ll be super sprinting for 10 seconds with rage. Speed is topped for that moment. But as for the drill, we armed it, protected it for 30 seconds to drill enough and then kite the enemy away from it. The super stim, and run to it, set it to blow and run. 😊
2:00 Chargers are surprisingly resistant to 500kg bombs, I've had several instances of landing one perfectly on them (courtesy of a stun grenade), only for it to walk out of the blast like a badass.
It genuinely feels like the weakest and worst airstrike in the game 😢 half the time enemies aren't even staggered by it when they're standing inside the blast radius and won't be harmed at all unless they're right in the centre
Wow i didnt realize how effective the flamethrower is against chargers. I often use flamethrower against bugs but use other strats against chargers so never really tried
Yep. Fire ignores armor. So flamethrower works well on chargers. Just pick one leg and focus on it, since each leg has a separate HP pool. But as soon as you drain one leg to 0 hp, the charger dies.
you see, I dont mind that they endlessly spawn in this mission, since they don't actually spawn ON TOP OF THE OBJECTIVE, so u can hold the position. It's challenging, but fun, and fair!
