Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is the sequel to 2015's Helldivers, which was a top-down shooter. It released for PlayStation 5 and Windows on 8 February 2024.

i came from a country that i can't have PSN, i can't risk it even i wanna try with VPN ( don't wanna get block or disband ).. most my time spend on the game i like . . currently ..Helldivers is the current game i spend almost 800 hours already.. so i gonna waste my money, my time, my effort spend in game for this BS ... if they advertise it the right way.. no pc gamer wanna buy Helldivers2 in the first place . . its frickin trap ... greedy corporate trap . .

I mean, if it came with the launch, it wouldn’t have gone on sale in those regions anyway. The right thing to do now is to offer a refund to those who want to do so and move on with the remaining players who’s willing to play along with the new rules.

well, one silver lining in this is at least you can save your money, steam is issuing refunds even for those that plays past the normal time limit the time and effort sucks though.

The only way Sony will ever stop the gamer abuse is if everyone boycotts. If they're still making money they will point to it as market justification and continue with the same immoral business practices.

@@Gribo4kiДля меня микротранзакции там были наименьшей проблемой. Гораздо хуже сюжет, оптимизация и разные мелкие детали (типа квеста по поиску магических гримуаров, которые оказывается нужны ещё и по другому квесту; одного слота сохранения; задания по обучению эльфа стрельбе, которое заключается в одном выстреле из лука и т.д.). Но больше всего разочаровала система пешек, всё развитие которых заключается в обновлении GPS-навигатора и возможности отвести тебя к новому сундук или пещере (но и тут разработчики должны были испортить игрокам жизнь Драконьей болезнью пешек). Единственное что более-менее понравилось это боёвка. При этом я считаю цену сильно завышенной.

Since Sony backed off I guess that makes Marge the fans who got Sony to back down. I don't play Helldivers 2 but I appreciate when fans are able to push back against fun killing corporate incompetence.

um, Activision should no longer be in there, because the company was under control of bobby Kotick (who caused ALOT of problems), which means the people who were there were controlled by Him. Now he's gone....Microsoft saved it. Tbh you shouldve replaced Activision with Nintendo due to what they've been doing to their fans.

Are you willfully ignorant or do you just genuinely not read anything else regarding this topic? This PSN requirement will cut off at least half of the PC playerbase because of the lack of PSN availability in other countries that do not have access to, well, PSN. There is a whole list of countries that will be affected by this. I suggest you research it further so you can fully grasp the weight of this

@@jovo7631it isn't half. I would like to see your source on that claim. Not saying that what they are doing is right, because it's not, but saying that half the PC player base will lose access is an over exaggeration. It's definitely something they need to address however. They need to make it an optional linking. Where people who can and do link it get the next war bond for free or some super credits to incentivize linking for people who want to or don't mind. But they shouldn't require it. I'll be playing regardless
