Doing Hellbomb on Nests is actually better now, it will always explode after you put in the codes, destroying it just triggers it early similar to the bombs you see around the map.
Idea for the ballistic shield pack: -a deployable mode so it becomes static cover, similar to Japanese Tate/Tedate shields: imagine pushing a enemy position with the shield and a verdict, then when you face berserkers or get close enough, you hunker down and pull out the slugger to dance around your new cover will pumpin' lead. When you're done, you just pick back up your shield and move on -a que system for cooldown (similar to eagle) to lean into deployable static defense and make up for its destructibility against canon projectiles and while the pack is not equipped -extra: a flinch response to a bit of explosive damage as opposed to instant ragdoll (devastator rockets mainly) to make up for speed debuf and narrow FOV when aiming down sights
@@FeelTheBluessThey serve similar roles. It's probably wiser to bring a primary that you can shoot point blank and reload faster to compensate for the grenade launcher's weaknesses. Yes you can argue that you could just jump pack away every time so that u don't need to shoot point blank, but you can't expect that to be the case every time given the cooldowns, environment, and ragdolling.
I've been using this build since u posted this and it's my most reliable build, I have brought the flamethrower a couple time cause fire is my main, but grenade launcher is best for 100% in my opinion great vid!
This is basically what I run but with stalwart. Crossbow is your way to deal with mediums or tight packs and for closing holes. Verdict or senator is another option for mediums if needing to reload. Stalwart turns so fast it's great for clearing chaff even point blank. Stalwart is also good for shriekers. The biggest problem is stalkers unless you bring bushwacker, but they're still manageable.
Would highly recommend taking the laser pistol secondary when you’re using the crossbow Takibo, it’s great at taking out hunters, shriekers and anything else that gets too close to you!
But you can kill chargers with the GL. Easily. If from the front just shoot under them 3x or 4x and from behind same thing. They'll bleed out and die. BTs take forever to kill with the GL tho but it is possible if you shoot their broken sacs.
Charger killing with GL is super inconsistent though. Depending on the terrain & angle you can easily shoot a whole mag & it won’t do much of anything to it.
Best done with a stratagem. Rocket pods is actually not a bad take for this as it will strip off the ablative armor, letting you finish them easily with crossbow or GL.
The grenade launcher can kill chargers easily by shooting the tail off. Against Bile titans you can also kill them via the underside since the 60 day patch.
5:45 if u have a second screen, when you have stratagem menu open ur mouse is unbound to the game screen, so if you try to move your mouse to look around and go too far, u will have ur mouse on the second screen, so then when u click to shoot u will click on the other monitor. happens to me too and is a major annoyance
1 Corinthians 9:24-25: "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever." This verse uses the metaphor of athletic competition to encourage discipline, effort, and striving for spiritual rewards.
11:45 Did they stealth buff the bile titans again? It survives one 500 kg bomb and one thermite grenade? What is this? Bile titans should die to one 500 kg as before. And then it survives the 2nd thermite also... Come on now. Or did they nerf the 500 kg back to it's crappy state with the small explosion radius? I feel like this thing doesn't do the work it did right after the first 60 day patch. It's total hit or miss lately.
Bile titans were bugged for a while where they didn't take damage. The notes said specifically head damage but that's BS because I landed 2 perfect 500kgs, one under the other hit it's leg. Still alive. 2 more EATs to the face to kill it. They said they fixed this but, I've seen titans walk right out of 500kg explosions that I know for a fact should have killed it.
My boy making it super hard mode, the xbow can kill nests and the senator also, since you're resupplying on the spot might as well just use everything to finish it quicker
Jump distance is determined by helldiver speed when launching. So light armor running with the experimental infusion booster active will have the furthest jump. Terrain also plays a big part. You will move much further much faster if you launch from the top of a rock or hill while sprinting
11:50 I will SWEAR they nerfed thermite about .2 seconds after they buffed it! It worked for maybe a few days before I saw titans survive 3! thermite!!!!
@@BlueberryBreading Incendiary Breaker simply for putting down small bugs, Hunters, Pouncers & Shriekers efficiency. Senator for annoying hive guards & alphas, as well as it can damage heavies as well, Thermites for Chargers mainly, Bile Titans & Impalers. GL for general crowd thinning & nest bug holes. Light Armor for speed & maneuverability with 2+ throwable passives for more Thermites. Backpack shield to prevent unnecessary deaths.
with bots it’s all about cover, with bugs it’s all about choke points. Add clear is a lot more important than heavy armor pen, as long as you can deal with the heavy units in some way you’re best off using things like fire and gas to deal with the hordes of little guys. More of the small units can call reinforcements so they’re priority one most of the time.
I always take a primary that can stagger OR can clear waves of small bugs alone. Usually it's the punisher or the incendiary breaker, but the regular breaker, lib concussive, default lib, cookout, and tenderizer are fine as well. If you have a stagger primary, bring gas strike, orbital Gatling, orbital airburst, or cluster bomb for large waves. Gatling sentry is GOAT against bugs If you have a wave clear primary, bring at least one stratagem that can kill heavies, I like the OPS, the 120 barrage, rail cannon, or RR. Also bring a secondary that can kill 2-3 small bugs fast, that helps keep hunters off your butt. I like the verdict, but the SMG is great too, or the dagger
Why are you using the crossbow? you already have a support weapon thats just a better crossbow, using an SMG so you can fight at close range and keep the mobility wouldve been much better
