Helldivers 2 - This Aggressive Meta Loadout is Insane.. (Solo Helldive Difficulty) 

Thoughts & Why I didnt make a video on the Sony situation: The situation is shitty, I hate that its happened in the first place, this was beyond stupid from sony, it literally makes NO SENSE at all. On a personal level, currently covering Helldivers 2 content this has a pretty big impact on me and my channel. Not only is this sony issue detrimental to the player count/player interest in helldivers 2, But also this major drama has caused a shift in youtubes algorithm regarding helldivers 2 as well, As most helldivers 2 viewers are focusing on the sony issue, the gameplays/tips content are being given less 'impressions' (aka: showing to less viewers) as it gives priority to the "hot" topic which is this big issue. I probably should've 'capitalized' on the drama and made videos about it, heck, we got people who have no interest in helldivers 2 from completely different games (and even non-gamers) jumping in and making videos on it to ride the "hate wave" and make some quick views (granted, sony deserves it) But honestly, i felt i dont have much to add, and as a youtube viewer i dont watch drama videos, so i wouldnt even know how to go on about that, i don't have an interest in talking about these things. My passion is with gaming and talking about INGAME stuff, like gameplay, ingame mechanics, tips & tricks, etc you get the point. If it werent helldivers 2, it'd just be something else Perhaps if i have something valuable to add to the conversation i can maybe make a video, but i'm just not a fan of what the youtubers are doing; "Hey, helldivers 2 got X negative reviews, the CEO said THIS, the community manager said THIS, the players are pissed!, X countries cant play" And its rinse and repeat rinse and repeat for dozens if not hundreds of videos on the subject all repeating the same information. Thats not a diss to the creators because i 100% get why they're doing it, our voices need to be HEARD, and as a youtuber, its the hot topic of the moment. But personally as a creator i feel weird repeating the same things as everyones saying. I could maybe add my thoughts to it, but is that something you guys would like to see? I don't know. I think about you guys when i make videos. I wanna make videos that YOU guys want to see, often times i struggle knowing what that is, and i hope i can continue to make the right moves. Yesterday i didn't post anything as i kinda hoped things would cool off, but its just heating up further, as sony continues doing the wrong thing. If i have something i deem interesting to add maybe ill talk about it, or if its something you guys really want to see, i just assumed you guys would be fed up about these videos so ive been reluctant to do so

Thanks for keeping focus on the gameplay and not on the negativity. The game may rebound from all this bullshit, or it'll crash and burn but I had a great time playing it for several hundred hours now and watching your gameplay.

My only issue with the fire tornados is that they have very obvious "player tracked" movement and will actively follow you around instead of moving randomly or with the wind (which affects the flames from the flamethrower, so there's no reason it can't also affect the tornados) I noticed this by getting into a location that the tornados physically could not get to and they all just moved straight to me and spun around the rock I was on and went no where else for the entire duration

respect for still getting these done solo, i've been getting fucked after completing the objective with the new patrolspam

I just want to drop a note to say your videos have improved my gameplay more than any other RU-vidr. I play in group but the skills and load outs translate perfectly. I often find myself carrying the mission and playing hyper aggressive because of your style and...it is fun as hell!!!

I wish there were a system that every planet you go it will tell you what type of bugs are in there, so is easy for you to know what to put in your loadout

I'm sorry this has impacted your channel, but often in these situations you just got to go with your heart. Hopefully things will get better. You are my favorite helldivers content creator. For myself, I really don't care about making an account really, but if people don't stand up for the ones who can't make one in their country, then we are really no better than Sony.

Even if you don’t make helldivers content, I will still watch your videos. I like your personality and can relate to a lot of your interests and decisions made in game. I will admit that I have been watching a lot of news regarding the Sony situation as well, and it is disheartening but it’s not the first game to be ruined in such a way. Hopefully things work out.

Would be cool as a ship module upgrade, to have like a Recon Data option displayed when your selecting the mission, that shows the majority of enemies that has been seen on the bug world, or how many heavy armor enemies on the bot worlds and so on. So you could kind of plan your loadout. Not an exact number, just like a % based thing.

I put Dive on Spacebar after trying that binding you use, and it is much better for me. I also intended to turn autovault off, but instead I rebound Vault to 1 of 2 side mouse buttons which also allows jumpacks to work and was easy for me to adjust to using. It turns out I like having the option of autovault as it only really accidentally triggers on Supply drops for me.

Hey Takibo, love the content, just a question, do you actively avoid the missions with bile spewers? Bc you’ve never posted a solo run video with them. I would love to know how u deal with them as a solo or if u just don’t do them.

How much time have you spent with the laser dog over the invulnerability shield? I was wondering if with some pratical application you feel confident speaking to the differences, pros vs cons, etc.

You make this game look easy. I suck and got overwhelmed with the stalkers and chargers, and I’m just playing on difficulty 4. I failed to extract twice, but the game is still so fun

JFYI: dive = TAP, Climb = LONG and I use jumppacks. Jumppack triggers when I hold and have nothing to climb over.

May I ask why you decided to run the peacemaker for this run?

26:46 For your Auto-climbing key assignment issue, I have a suggestion for you 😉 I set the jump to #spacebar --> double click, and leave the rest as it was, it took a short time to get used to, but it works very well for me ^^

At one point you mention people may struggle to clear hoards with just primary and flamethrower. I like to use the incendiary grenades instead of impacts for this reason, putting it in a choke point or leading them into the fire is very satisfying. (It either helps or I'm gaslighting myself insanely hard)

What's a good general recommendation for diver level vs mission difficulty as a solo player? For example, diver levels 1-10 = mission difficulty 1-2. 10-20 = difficulty 2-3, etc? Or does such a thing not make much sense and one should just keep increasing the mission difficulty until you can't clear?

Just a comment on the spacebar long hold for climb, I have this mapped, but have no issue with using the jump pack. As long as I'm not in a climb situation, it seems to interpret the long hold space to activate the jump pack.

Why do you prefer the shield instead of the guard dog? If the idea is to get more kills and the bugs don't shoot as much? btw.. awesome content.

What if to try and always leave one living bug with you, so that it calls for bug breach whenever the timer resets?

A comment on suppressed weapons: I recently saw a video about stealth in this game that seems to show that sound makes very little difference to the ability of bots and bugs to notice you

Any recommendations for this build against bile spewers? I hate those things, only thing that seems to work for me is an impact grenade or a couple of the grenade pistol shots, which all go quick and take awhile.

in my loadout wit turrets i rack up on average a lot more kills than normal, generally i opt for autocannon but gatling is very effective too, specially in missions like this one when you have to hold the position for a while

I wonder if there is anything you could replace the shield with that would get you more kills. I've been watching your high score go up and up. I bet you could break 1500 with some more min-maxing.

I like having climb on hold shift and have sprint on press. It’s toggle sprint and when you want to climb you hold shift.

To answer your question on if your bad at reloading... I don't think your bad at reloading, I think you forget to let the reload animation finish. This in the past has cost you mags, now you do sometimes forget to reload all weapons before pulling from the resupply. Otherwise awesome video, can't wait to see more.

Bile spewers are definitely the weakness to the build. Flamethrower requires you to get too close for comfort and the incendiary breaker can't handle them. Grenades basically end up being your answer but you have a very limited amount...

I have almost the same loadout except i use grenade pistol and stun grenades long press for both climb and jump pack should work... that's how i set it up on my controller (A), i also have another button (B) that toggles run/walk on press and dive on double tap and prone on long press

I have blocked 100's of channels by now, because of their clear drama riding and ignorance; I don't care how popular they are or if they even play the game (we know majority don't) especially the larger "content" creators. They can stay blacklisted. When I look up Helldivers 2, I am looking for content on weapon information, strategies, and live commentary. You're one out of the two Helldivers 2 channels I am currently subscribed to, so although I might be a minority, thank you for the content and no drama. It's upsetting enough as is, considering I actually really enjoy this game, which is rare these days with the sheer number of games that are absolute flops. Tired of the entire situation, just want to see some good 'ol diving, when I am not able to dive myself.

You ever think about doing a run where you don't bring a support weapon but instead find one on the map? Seems like there are flamethrowers and arc throwers all over the maps.

use more grenades :) they are really good. 2-3 grenades can get you a lot of time to avoid being overwhelmed. They are really efficient in those types of planets (and also on planets with lots of spewers)

@the_takibo what is a good way to find the stalkers lair now? I used to be able to ping the map and search but can’t do that anymore. Any help would be appreciated

The number of hunters is INSANE. Theyve utterly replaced warrior bugs as the main chaff on this difficulty,.

That fact that a flamethrower can easily deal with a charger but the Eruptor got nerfed into oblivion is super disappointing

Why does it look like you have 1000 movement speed? Is it just the FOV making it seem like it?

the EAT can be replaced with Eagle nepalms. if you practice a bit with it you can one shot biles.

I tried launching a mission solo and immediately got stunlocked by stalkers, i re-deployed and the stalker as soon as I hit the ground jumped on me and I got stunlocked again.

27:47 I had this same issue, but fixed it by making it so a single tap is climb and a double tap is leap. Works well for me

I know its just RNG but how you have 2 stalker nests and only 1 stalker appears!?

Fire tornadoes is one of my favorite environmental effects. It can sometimes mess you up, but they look so damn cool.

If you're going for max kills wouldn't you want to keep the shrieker's nest "alive"?

You should always dump your whole mag and reload, then switch to another weapon. Don't switch off in the middle of a mag. Only exception is stuff like a flamethrower or MG. Autocannons fire 5 shots and then reload always, etc. if you make the decision that you always empty the mag then you aren't wondering if you need a reload. mag dump, move + reload, switch weapons, repeat

any tips for throwing nades into bug holes, 60% of the time mine make it into the hole but it doesnt close

Very much appreciate your comment and stance on the sony topic and your general idea of what content you want to make. This is why when I got into the first few Helldivers video I immediately stuck to your channel, as its just simply good and educational content and no clickbait. Not to mention you're a great player and quite chill as a commentator. Personally cannot understand why Sony is trying to do what they are doing. They must know this would have a MASSIVE fallout. They just completly turn arround the potential game of the year into fail of the year. And what for? Just to gain some userdata to sell and lose it in future data breaches? F them, seriously. Thats some EA level of d-baggery. Really hope the community outlash will turn that decision or else I see the game dying out quickly and thats really sad as its one of the best games I've played in the recent years.

I've been loving the Arc Blitzer in bug missions, over my normal breaker incendiary, ever since the last update.

I wish that we could buy more Information about the Planet with the money we get after each mission, i am always capped out on 50k and it is pretty useless once you got all the strategems bought, they could at that a single Player could buy the information or everyone on the Team pays 25%, they should also add how the terrain might be cause weapons like the spear are heavily effected by it

I have stratagem on my spacebar. Dive on mouse button, climb on other mouse button. Auto climb on.. Turned off auto climb and after 4-5 hours I want it back. There are definitely terrain issues now. I'll practice a couple few more hours with it off but ..... Right meow I want it back. There's so much more room for activities with it on since it works on terrain with sprint vs pressing the button. #secondsmatter

off topic i was trying a new load out and struggled to make it work R36 explosive flamethrower as heavy rail cannon strike 5kg and i was thinking maybe rover to help with the small bugs would like to see how you make this work i failed on lvl 7 doing this i did only give this one try as of this comment this is my new idea on maybe making this happen

I'm heartbroken that the game is going through this crap because of corporate greed because it really doesn't deserve being rated Overwhelmingly Negative on Steam but if this is what must be done to change the minds of those at the top then so be it. Your fov is so high, looks like fish eye. Just a suggestion, but you could do yourself and us a favor, by getting an ultrawide. You can lower fov and just record in 16:9. Edit: I run a 32:9 monitor and it’s glorious, but a 21:9 is much better already
