PATCH 01.001.002 changed the way the Flamethrower functions and it is no longer as good as mentioned in the video. AMR and Railgun are still solid choices. This is viable for Tier 10 if you have a decent squad.
Try some of the new helmets from the shop (not the warbond) “Freedoms Flame” and mix them with armors that match. Also the CM Physician helmet is great to pair with any grey armor and the Alpha Commander can be combined with some of the other greys to get a pretty good resemblance of Boba Fett
I would go with an Eruptor to stand in for that massive disintegration rifle he had in S1. It pairs well with the Senator and gives you a way to break structures
Mandalorians have diversity in their builds based on their personal preferences. Which makes this one of the most versatile thematic builds I’ve seen in a while.
I think this is mostly true unless the jetpack recognizes terrain under you and begins flaring but you end up above another cliff/height when the jetpack flare ends
I think Sickle is the obvious choice lol but I appreciate the "never let 'em know your next move" element. I'm definitely using the Sickle though but I swear it's just for esthetics.
Scorcher is almost identical in function to star wars blasters. SW blasters fire plasma bolts, not laser beams. SW has laser weaponry of course just like they have old school slug throwers, but most commonly the weapons platforms are using special gases highly charged to super heat them to a plasma state. That's why they have recoil, why the projectiles explode on impact, ties into SW space fantasy resources even to explain how it works in universe. The Sickle for instance might seem a little closer, but it's just firing a laser beam in broken pulses rather than a continuous one. The pulsing would result in better penetration while the continuous beam would sear and cut. Still, it's phased photon mumbo jumbo, not plasma. I hope my attempt to relate nerd sci-fi pseudo science was adequate.
IMO the AMR is more thematic, it looks more like din’s sniper and while it doesn’t function the same the rounds do look like they explode and I feel like that’s close enough. Also idk if I’m just doing things wrong but I found that when I use railgun it doesn’t damage tank and cannon turrets but the AMR can reliably but does take a whole mag
I like them both, I do find with the AMR the beef targets like a charger or bile titan sack it's always a mag dump which can be harder to pull off in the heat of battle.
Immediately subbed after you said you were suprised about your subcount.😂😂😂 Im getting "Jim from The Office" vibes. Super genuine and an appreciator of the simple things. Anyway this was a great video that focuses purely on the fun of this game.
for mando i go sickle with jump pack, (flamethrower or commando to simulate wrist flames/rockets), optionally railgun if going for din build, then choice of eagle/orbital. also the last helmet in the default warbond is an excellent mando helmet choice. The mech is a good choice for basilisks
Executioner armor with the black, red, and cream colored helmet from the last page of the first warbond (the page with the scorcher) and the melevelon creek cape looks SUPER mando
This is a really good video, also this has basically been my load out for the past few months haha, The one thing I’d “change” about it is running the CM-14 PHYSICIAN helmet as imo it looks the most similar to mandolorian helmet, I also run the hero of the federation armour but that’s just because the liberty protects passive is one of my favourite things of all time
I’ve mained a Mandolorian-style build since I started playing. I agree about the energy based primary, and I thought the sickle was closest to Boba’s blaster rifle in both theme and aesthetic, but I found I didn’t like how big it was, and it’s a bit underpowered. The SMGs seem to fit much better for me. Sidearm is the Senator, naturally. Both Jango and Din actually use their pistols as their primary. Jump pack and AMR, of course. I usually do one Eagle and one Orbital for the reasons you gave, but I like the idea that the Eagle is a Firespray or an N1, so maybe I’ll play with 2 Eagles. With the new Ship Module, this may not be so bad. I will keep the Rocket Pods, as the build is weaker against heavies. But the Air Strike, 500kg, and even the strafing run could be good contenders.
The fact that you didn't wear the Battle Master or Knight (Pre Order exclusive) Helmet is crazy to me. Literally the closest we'll get to a Mandalorian helmet!
Love the video, but I think your build is better than you realize. The railgun if you know what you’re doing can take out the bile titan pretty well, especially if you soften it up first with the air strike. Again, the railgun should be overcharged when you shoot at gunships because it drops in damage pretty heavy at range and overcharging allows more damage at range up to about 100 meters. Also hear me out, the new commando could be another option, it could thematically be like the wrist missiles(can’t remember what they are called.) another candidate would be the throwing knives, they actually kill chargers pretty easy, 4 to the same leg. P.S. your pupper is adorable, what’s their name?
I'm kicking myself for not including the commando or EAT as a pseudo back/wrist rocket option. And the puppy's name is Lady, I usually call her Lady Liberty during the videos.
If you didn't want a mech or a second eagle, i think using the EAT or Commando would be great too for the heavier targets, and would mirror the mando jetpack rockets. Commando esp imo.
@@NomadHD2 haha all good, so it goes. I haven't had the chance to try this configuration but I'm looking forward to giving it a go! Jump pack and AMR is so fun.
I’ve been wanting someone to do a good loadout style series. This was a great video, you just got a new sub, looking forward to new content in the future!
With the railgun alone i would say that this build is S-tier to deal with hulks. You one shot them in the eye in safe mode. So coupled with the stun grenade it's one of the best duo to deal with them
@@NomadHD2 since the last buff he recieved i've been playing it a lot more and it's greatly underestimated. With a supply bp you can deal with dominators and Hulks like they are a non existant threat. It's bad against other heavies tho so that's why it's far from the best. But to deal with Hulks, it's insane !
Sangare has not had time to settle and he’s a class DM end of! With a good few games pre season we will finally see the baller he is!!!! Have faith and support him and this season we will see the great player in him mark my words I am with Wolfie on this Come on you reds And come on 🏴 England !!!!
You are correct, I didn't mention rearming them since in helldive (for me), I don't usually have downtime to use the rearm over just using my last call ins.
I kind of disagree at 11:50 where you said that the big iron wasn’t good for anything other than troopers. IMO the big iron is amazing for devastators, it is one of the most satisfying things in this game to 1 tap every devestator and berserker with the big iron.
@@NomadHD2 exactly it would match the punch you hear behind every shot, It would also make the gun more unique and since Senator has 175 damage and Verdict 125 the medium pen wouldn't make the Senator worse or less desired option, tho if you feel that is lacking because of the lack of ammo in a mag I would increase Senator's handling
@@NomadHD2 Also be aware that there's level 5 ship modules, one which makes Eagle Re-arms better by reducing the re-arm time by 10%, as long as you manually send the eagles to re-arm(which means you did not use all your eagles). Food for thought.
