Have my Helle knife from around 1970 still in use. This knifes follows a very old tradition. In Norway a knife is the farmer/fishermans companion, but in comparison to let say the typical Swedish mentality that is functionalism and good planning way before appearance, the Norwegian mind like to think that a knife has to compliment the person who carry's it. Allays great stuff from Helle
nice collection .. I have 3 helle knives 1 GT 2 Alden 3 dokka .. I swear these knifes are damn good quality hand made .. they all look different even if you look at the same knifes they will differ ..
Billy Prendergast Thanks for the great comment! I obviously have a thing for Helle as you do. I don't really use mine much. I carry the folder sometimes. I recently bought a couple more. I'll post a video showing them soon. Thanks again
Do you use these knives a lot, or are they just for collection? And if they are only for collection, have you put them away in a box, or visible for everyone to see? Just wondering.. ✌️ Very nice knives sir!
Syringe Eleven Thanks for the comment. I usually use a folder in my daily work and if I do need this style of bushcraft knife, I'm probably going to grab a Mora. So the Helle collection is on display in a wall mount cabinet in the living room. Again thanks for watching
I just got a UTVAER with custom scales hickory and solid brass pins and a custom scout or cross draw sheath ( reversible ) the knife I'd absolutely amazing
