And now, the first kid is a renowed trot singer in South Korea. He's so handsome now !

this s the perfect example of contradiction in society. the fact that he is trying to be an individual and himself, yet he is getting ridiculed purely based on what he loves. it's quite sad really

The kid who love oldies is now a famous trot singer. Recently this guy appeared in The return of superman show and also Kang Gary and his son idol.

And now, myeongsub really came out on 'Immortal Song'. He even become Hao's role model and appeared on The Return Of Superman. His grandma and parents must've been proud now. 😊 He's a gem. Hope he becomes more successful in the future.

When the first boy apologize to his mom it makes me really sad, he didn't do anything wrong! They should be proud that he can sing very well and also has the talent to write more than 400 songs!

The first concern really pissed me off, the mom has a talented child who wants to express himself artistically in his own unique way and instead of encouraging his passion, she is trying to stop it.

I think for the boy who likes older songs, they focused to much on the fact that his musical interests were different. The main concern should have been focused on the fact that he's failing out of school. It's ok to like different music, but that should not be the whole of who he is and his experiences. Social connections are also important. He doesn't have to abandon the music he likes just to connect with other people and study.

Look at that kid (myungsub) now, he successfully become a trot singer that gary and haoh admires 💗

I came here after watching this kid(The Kid who loves trot songs) guest on Return of Superman in today's episode 4/28/2020 in Hao and Kang Gary's house. Year 2013 His mom sent and came to this show thinking it was a concern. But now 2020 He is actually a well known Trot Singer in Korea. This proves that not all mother knows best for their child. Sometimes you should let and support your child's dream even if you don't want it for him.

The kid who like old music is a kind of genius. I can't believe his parents are punishing him for being unique and individualistic. He's obviously a genius, he wrote 400 songs of his own! You don't succeed by going with the crowd, you succeed by developing your own identity and your own path. STUPID PARENTS!!!

Personally I think the only concern with the first concern was that the he grades dropped. Other than that think It was courageous of him not to want to conform an standing by what he likes.

Its 2020 and the young boy is now 22 and is getting famous for trot singing. He was just on Return of superman as a guest. I hope his mum is now relieved. Its not always easy being a parent.

Regarding the first concern. I get it if the family worries about school and friends because the teenage life is really tough at times..especially when it comes to confidence and to 'fit in.' However, I think it is amazing how this boy dares to be himself and stands up for what he loves because there aren't many of that kind so I love it that he sticks out from the others.

I hope that the 15 year old keeps embracing his passion by writing and singing. He can study as a responsible student without giving up his passion. He’s absolutely brilliant! Society can sometimes suppress talent, originality, and genius. I don’t know of any exceptional person who had a “normal” adolescence. It seems to me that great people have always stood out, gone against the grain, and cultivated their talents through thousands of hours of study and practice. It appears like obsessive and abnormal behavior to “ordinary” folk.

omg the kid who likes old music is really talented!! but he should communicate more??? if he has a nice voice then he should maybe join choir or something?? or talk to people who like to sing! you dont really need to abandon your social life to enjoy something.

And now he is one of the famous trot singer in korea... he made lot of money and people love him for his uniqueness.... its true that we should do what we like coz at the end of the day, people love our unique charm

The 15 year old is now a popular trot singer in S.Korea. He was a misunderstood genius indeed. I didnt get why the parents did not support him, but I am sure that right now they are proud of him lmao.

Ha Oh brings me here. Cho myungsub looks so cute here but now he became so handsome. I might stan him because he's just like me. I also like classic songs and movies a lot. But not that obsessed like him hahah. But i do understand the feelings when people call you oldy and outdated when in fact youre not. Just because you like classic songs and movies, people tend to labelled you as weird. Its kinda hurt tho.

I love the boy's dedication to history and Korean traditional music. If I were his parent, although id worry about OTHERS bullying my son, I would see it as their fault rather than my son's fault. I think the boy is pretty genius and this dedication to his interests is impressive and awesome

I came after TROS and I'm so glad to see that Myungsub did not give up his passions and individuality. I agree with the orange haired member from KARA (sorry I don't know their names :/), it's good to have individuality and be unique. If I'm the mum I would be proud of having a son like him who have his own taste in this kind of generation where everyone is influenced by and thinks the same way. It is true that it'll be hard to study later, but it'll be even harder to get back those times he lost where he could have used to cultivate his passion and talent. I'm glad he chose to stay who he is and did not dull his shine. I know the mum is worried about him not fitting in but fitting in sometimes also means losing who he is, I will cheer for you Myungsub XD.

That older sister with the dog really pisses me off. Do not get a dog if you don't have time to take care of it yourself. Her who family have to make sacrifices to care for the dog when she doesn't have to give up anything and still goes out whenever she pleases. That is HER DOG, so SHE should take care of it. During the whole time she denies any advice and shakes her head at everything they say and continues to be selfish till the end.

I didn't know KARA before watching this, but they honestly showed the most active and caring interaction I've seen from any idol in the show. To top it off they all seem really bright, mentally strong and fun to hang out with, all the more impressive as they're pretty young at the time of recording. I'm so amazed! So I rushed to IG to give the group a follow, but of course they've split already! I even learnt Jiyoung didn't stick around until the end and that the group suffered while looking for multiple replacements over the years. Such a shame, but I will keep my end of the bargain and support the girls still. That's how strong an impression they left me in this episode!

I’m so glad that TROS introduced me to Cho Myungsub. He’s such a talented young man. I think in a way his mom did him a favour by introducing him to the world and making his talent more well-known through this show 😂 I’m really glad things worked out for him though because not many people turn out becoming successful when chasing their passion in life. Now please excuse me while I catch up on his performance in Immortal Songs heehee

5:18here after watching the new TROS video with Haoh in it. Also ahaha I love how the mc be hyping him up😂😂 I’m glad he sticked to his decision and didn’t listen to his mom because he is so successful right now.👏👏(not saying that you shouldn’t listen to your parents but for him, it’s different)

It's great that he managed to achieve his goal despite his parents not being supportive.

Myung-sub was 5 years younger than me at the time of filming, but even at such a young age he expresses the emotions of the songs amazingly

the problem with the boy is not his obsession with Old Songs it's his inability to interact with kids his own age and the fact that he doesn't study. As a teenager I was a huge Opera fan, loved Rock music and Bollywood but i still knew how to interact and not alienate people. He seems like all he talks about is that stuff when everyone his age is listening and talking about Kara and new artist he can't relate they can't relate to him further alienating himself.

My opinion for concern: 1. I think he must keep his interest to old songs. Coz he is different. He is unique. But,he should listen to these days trends too. So he can adapt with public. 2. I really can't forgive the older sister. How can a dog is more important than her own little sister? 3. I hope she will meet her soulmate soon. She deserve a love. She is a woman too. She doesn't want to be too tall too (i think this sentence is a little strange,but u know what i mean gight? My english is not that good). 4. I am the oldest child in my family. I do make my dongsaengs to run errand. But, she is too much. Moreover,lying in the bed all day long is not good for health. Moving around is good for health. #The previous episode was B2ST, and this episode is KARA#

i side with the 15 yr old son than his mom because he should be celebrated for his individuality and talent, not stifled to fit in (there are millions of teenage guys who fit the mold but pretty rare to have a cool son who relates to old songs) xT....hara's advice to tall girl about losing weight pissed me off, she's freaking fine and healthy and i do hope she finds a great guy, her friend don't seem ready to swallow his pride....the sister of dog owner should have won because i think her sister is "abusing" her sister and the dog and i don't take pet responsibility lightly!!

My brother's 195cm and he's 18 and still growing and I'm 175cm and I'm 14 and still growing too. Come to Canada, there are plenty of tall people here

4-30-2020, searched this episode because of Cho Myeongseop, HaO's favorite singer in Return of Superman...6 years down the road and here he is a successful singer...for sure those kids who teased him and did not want to talk to him way back, want to have even a little chat with him.

Just watched Haoh and Kang Gary's episode with myungsub on the return of superman. Myungsub grew up so well🥺 and I'm glad he stuck to trot singing, he has a really beautiful voice🙌🏼🙌🏼♥️♥️.

Haven't finished watching yet, but the first "problem" is absolutely not a problem!?!!!! We actually need people like this, and there's nothing wrong with his passion at all. He's turned his passion in the right way, what's wrong there?

He is ha oh favorite singer now! He is such a great guy, to the people who have downgraded him, look at him now..

The first young man....He's downright impressive. I was amazed at his singing ability and talent. However, it's an understandable concern. He's only 15 and he's focusing A BIT TOO much on one thing. I'm not saying he should stop his interest in those types of music. Definitely not. He's not only interested in it but he's clearly invested quite a bit of time in it. It's amazing. So he shouldn't stop in my opinion. What I will say though is that he should also be focus on school and his studies. The singing and interest in the older generation of music should be a secondary priority. He needs to get through school and his studies. That way, he learn and acquire the basics of going about the musical industry in the future. Cause it seems to me that that is where he might be leaning towards. That way, he can continue listening and learning about the old songs and musicians as he go through school. He doesn't have drop it. He shouldn't. He clearly has amazing talents. I myself prefer the oldies, motown. and generally old-school music. However, I know if that's my ONLY focus...I can become a singer...A homeless singer. Gotta get some balance, man.

Well, i recently watch The Manager and found out about the first guy. As much as I respect his differences, I think the fact he said that it has became his natural self to act like that and the fact that he really cannot do normal way of speaking is an act of certain physiological denial. Perhaps he experienced something so strong that made him more comfortable to just invent or changing his whole persona. And the fact that he doesn't have clear boundary on when or where he should stop his obsession, like at night you should sleep and not disturb others or doesn't have interest at other people include his own parents,, shows he perhaps need to talk to professional.
