Andi is an amazing singer with a unique voice, but there's songs that he can't sing due to different vocal ranges...This is a perfect example of that :)

Concordo MUITA COISA!!!!!! É impressionante ver esse cara cantando as musicas do Kiske. E o pior é que a gente sempre teve aquela expectativa muito alta com o Kiske. Ver os dois lado a lado cantando as musicas dá pra ver realmente que o Deris é tão bom quanto. E a voz dele é única. Depois dos keepers muita gente tentou copiar o Kiske, mas o Deris com essa voz mais rasgada é impossível. Sou mto fã.
Andi and Michael are a very different kind of singers. Of course Michael will sing his song better because it is his song. Andi is singing someone else´s song and he's not even missing a single note, but here we have a lot of people talking bullshit about Andi's technique.

I Really do not understanding why has several comments Criticizing Deris Voice, Is His Style, This song Was Made for a Tenor vocal, he is baritone, a big diference between Them, but, He did a good job in this Song. I See many Helloween's Fans being Disrespectful with Deris, Remember, That Man SAVES Helloween, and did great álbuns in his Era, The Dark Ride, Master Of The Rings, Time Of The Oath and Better Than Raw. Deris is a Great Singer, Kiske And Kai Have returned, So, Just Enjoy the Pumpkins United and Stop With Comparisons :)
Don't call those fools "Helloween fans". If a person loves and supports the band, they'd never say anything about any member, especially Deris who has been releasing and composing great stuff since 1994. You said it all. If Deris wouldn't have joined the band they'd probably had been disbanded.

Andi Deris is my favorite Power Metal singer, but I feel in this concert he should have song March of Time on his style, because he was trying to sing like Kiske and this is a song that demands a lot of high notes, if he singed it on his style he would have really nailed the song.

Watch the Unisonic version of this song...that is more Helloween than this...Helloween is a good band with Deris with some good Albums like The time of the oath...Unisonic plays the old Helloween stuff better,because they have one original guitar player and the two original voices...Helloween has one original guitar player and original bass player but Deris can not sing the old songs...sorry...I hope one day they make a tour with the original line-up...Hansen,Weikath,Kiske,Grosskopf...and on drums Uli Kusch...I know the original line-up was without Kiske and with Ingo on drums...but you know what I mean..

That's what happens when you hire a new singer with a diffrent register than your original. Andi is an Amazing singer and he's killer at singing his stuff live. For the Micheal stuff, I kind of wish he would just sing those songs in his own style but really he just wants to try to be as faithful to the Micheal era as possible and you can't fault him for the commitment.
@chameleon metal La verdad siento que eres un amante desenfrenado por la forma de cantar de kiske y su voz claramente, quizá eso nuble tu juicio, pero siendo objetivos aunque kiske tenga una voz más lírica, la voz de Andi es única, en el sentido de que le entregó a helloween muchísima más versatilidad, ahora para que Kiske cantara en helloween ellos tuvieron que modificar su sonido practicamente, porque al mostrarle el walls of jericho a kiske, este se lo devolvió a kai , en fin, siento que kiske hizo historia con la banda al estar en los keepers, pero de esos álbumes no solo resalta la voz de él, es un conjunto de armonía musical, ahora si solo hablás mal de Andreas deris sin conocer su trayectoria en helloween , si escuchar temas como The King for a 1000 years , Push, The time of the oath, Revelations, Who is mr mad man, The dark Ride, worl of war, Paint a new world o los live " High" o " Live on the 3 continents " (entre muchas otras) en dónde aparte de ser la banda majestuosa musicalmente se aprecia la versatilidad de deris, creo que te quedas sin argumentos si solo apelas a la " magestuosidad de kiske" , nunca fue solo él , la banda no fue por él, es un excelente vocalista, pero estos siempre se llamaron helloween no"kiske y sus muchachos" y pues vamos , kiske jamás hubiese dado tal interpretación a un tema como the dark ride o push , who is mr mad man o long live the king, El propio weikath lo dijo( no en palabras textuales): " Andi puede subir a notas altas y puede gritar, yo escribo las canciones para él ,eso es fundamental en un cantante", y vale, aunque Kiske hizo historia con estos dos keppers tambien dejó un sin sabor tras sus dos últiimos álbumes, que aún siendo buenos la banda se iba alejando cada vez más de ese poder incontenible. Siendo Objetivos querido amigo, Andi deris llegó en el peor momento de la banda y con su carisma y su voz única lo entregó todo y por ello hoy día sigue siendo después de 26 años el cantante principal de HELLOWEEN. Tambien amo los temas con kiske, por que como dije no sólo es él , es la banda entera la que Amo y los temas de los Keepers son Majestuosos, pero jamás estaré de acuerdo con se menosprecie el trabajo de Deris en la banda que a la hora de la verdad ha sido mucho más duro y dinámico.
I've heard Deris cover Kiske work and normally he does a damn fine job. But this song was not written for his range. This song has so many high notes and Deris's voice is too raspy to even reach them. It seems more like amutuer karaoke.
He just didn't need to go to that pitch. His voice is naturally higher than Kiskes, so he doesn't actually need to hit the correct notes - shoulda just sung what felt right, instead his voice... ...sorta went all "fat".

Tell me what Michael Kiske has released since he left Helloween early in the 90's? A tons of shitty albums. The guy doesn't even like heavy metal hahahaha. Even you guys, his fanboys, don't buy his new stuff. He's got a great voice and that's all. Can't compose or create anything.
This is sad. They should never try to perform this piece live with Andi on vocals. They've dropped the piece 2-3 tones down and he still can't sing it properly. On the other hand, Kiske on Unisonic still KILLS this piece 50 years old that he is, hitting the exact notes he used to so many years ago...
Se que no es bueno entrar en comparaciones, pero creo que Helloween se equivoca poniendo a Deris en evidencia al hacerle cantar estos temas. Simplemente no puede y no debe porque lo hace fatal. Está a años luz de Kiske en lo que a voz se refiere.
