There's definitely a rhythm there, the relentless galloping rhythm of the double bass drums, the signature sound of what became known as power metal.

Ride the sky with Kai Hansen on vocals are a true masterpiece. And the bassplaying from Markus Grosskopf are absolutely phenomenal. He actually plays on the bass if you really listen. Its a pleasure watching you Dominika turning more and more into metalhead ❤ This brings me back at least 35 years when I was a teenager. Thank you.

Speed metal perfection. One of my favourite metal albums of all time. For a first time listener it can be overwhelming . Please do more Helloween. Not everything is this fast. You two are so lovely.

The singer of this album is Kai Hansen, who was replaced by Michael Kiske after this album and then left the band after the next two albums including the live album and founded the band Gamma Ray and continues this type of music, now everyone is Former members of the band are back on board, including Kai Hansen, who is now just more or less a backround singer

It wasn't speed/thrash metal, it is heavy/ speed/power metal or simply speed metal Victim of fate is another awesome song, probably my favorite with Kai Hansen as a vocalist

guys, since you are enjoying helloween so much you need to check out a band called Stratovarius next, listen to black diamond or legions. Stratovarius is right up there with helloween both giants in the genre

if helloween spawned a girl called Lovebites, you'll find in this track all the ingredients Lovebites uses in her compositions. Helloween, and especially this album, are the forerunners of power metal at its best.

The Helloween mlp and Walls Of Jericho album are the faster,harder, heavier material in Helloween discography, but they are still very melodious and that is something that set Helloween apart apart from a lot of bands

One of the best metal tracks ever... my favorite helloween album. Kai Hansen medley live is even better ;) but i like "melodic speed metal" ;) this is why i also like the first blind guardian albums the most ;) this is a prototype of power metal...
