This ended up being a pretty solid remake, but I still prefer the first two Hellraiser movies. I loved the practical effects with the Cenobites though and Jamie Clayton is easily the best Pinhead since Doug Bradley.

The power gift that Roland chose was being transformed into a Cenobite. The other victims like the protagonists brother, that you thought were turned into Cenobite, are just victims.

I think this pinhead is the "new" pinhead. At least in head canon. Spoilers. I don't know the whole story, but in the expanded universe "pinhead" trades places with Kirsty. It's completely probable that this pinhead is Kirsty. Especially since it's been like 30 years.

Until a future Hellraiser movie says otherwise, or I hear otherwise from either Clive Barker or Jamie Clayton, I believe the "Kirsty Cotton is the new Pinhead/Hell Priestess" theory is true.
