You're one of the few people that doesn't immediately downplay Blitz's feelings. A lot of people are really quick to antagonize him whenever he has his outbursts.
This was the only one of his outbursts I was actually kinda cheering on lol! I love both of them but as it stands right now they are both terrible for each other. Both of them need time to grow and think before they can work, IF they can work. They definitely can’t right now, not in any healthy way anyways.
@@Noor-sl5epNo, he's not. It all happened really fast and he didn't get the chance to properly process that Stolas genuinely meant that he loved him. Blitzø thinks lowly about himself, so low that he doesn't see how anyone could actually love him. I don't think either are "in the wrong", just that it's a complicated situation where both could've probably reacted better.
Dont ignore the multiple times Stolas has been direct to Blitz at Ozzies, when he called Blitz his best friend, his texts, and how every other character thinks Blitz is ignoring the fact Stollas likes him like with Fizz joking around itz relationship. I think yall want the main character to be a main character so much that yall are blinded by it.@@somanygoodfandoms
both of them were wrong; Stolas for blindsiding Blitz and not allowing him to process before reacting, as well as making assumptions, and Blitz is wrong for repeatedly dismissing Stolas despite the man doing his best to be sincere and honest.
Considering one of the items that Blitz tossed out of the chest of things he and Stolas have already used was a freaking PEAR OF ANGUISH (pear-shaped supposed torture device that was said to be inserted into an orifice and was expanded by twisting a screw at the end - it's one of those devices that historical scholars debate was ever used or was even plausible TO have been used), the giant vibrator probably IS Stolas' speed.
Thank you for acknowledging that Stolas isn’t a perfect little angel and that Blitzø had a right to be upset. I love both of these characters and while I definitely like Stolas MORE I find it incredibly concerning that people are pretending Blitzø had no ground to stand on during that argument when he arguably had more
Fantastic reaction, it was great seeing someone empathizing with Blitz and in general being nuanced about this whole mess. I've seen a lot of people blame 100% Blitz or 100% Stolas for the fight, but the fact is that they both messed up because of their respective traumas. And yet ironically I feel this was one of the better ways this whole thing could have ended : Blitz now knows exactly how Stolas feels and that it's SERIOUS, and I have no doubt in my mind he *would* have actually said his piece and possibly even confessed too if he hadn't been portaled away. They're both in a very rough place right now but I think that fight was necessary for them to move forward. Can't wait to see what the rest of season two will have in store for us!

My favorite part of this episode was seeing Loona 🐺back why I missed her and good to see her back in action she was absent in three episodes and There was no music in the end credits now that’s the first it left us wondering what will happen next

See i like your take, i keep seeing people side with one or the other. BUT BOTH OF THEIR REACTIONS ARE UNDERSTANDABLE. THEY BOTH MAKE SENSE. Stolas saw Blitzøs answer as “I am a monster, im forcing him to be here, im forcing him to fuck me, I cant keep making him do this, he doesnt want it” and Blitzø didn’t think he was serious because he hates himself, he doesnt feel like he can be loved, he’s self destructive, and clearly has had something similar happen to him in the past, as well as likely also in denial or smothering his own feelings as well.
What makes this so compelling and tragic is that both Blitz and Stolas did something wrong. Stolas should not have turned this into an ultimatum. Blitz's point about not being given time to process is valid, the biggest problem (among other things) was the way he said it came off as very insensitive. I'm glad the story is allowing for this growth period, heartbreaking as it may be for now; because both characters need to learn how to better communicate.
@@Noor-sl5ep “Impish little plaything” doesn’t give a glowing impression. He was also aggressively sexual towards Blitzø in pretty much every scene in s1, it isn’t really until the Ozzie episode that he tries to get him to hang out non-sexually, and by then it’s already too late/he’s already set a purely sexual expectation. The only reason we knew as early as we did is because we see Stolas’ perspective; Blitzø doesn’t. All he sees is what Stolas shows him, and while he’s tried a FEW times to have real conversations, MOST of it was purely sexual from Blitzø’s POV
Personally I feel like blitz's feelings are valid. Yes stolas has shown his feelings to us as the audience but not blitz. That's why he's so surprised when stolas just suddenly tells blitz he cares about him. To blitz it seems out of nowhere especially when we see all of their interactions together, it WAS just about sex at first.
Gotta disagree that it was out of nowhere. That convo with Fizz in Oops made it clear that Blitz knew Stolas cared about him, but was trying to play it off.
I think Blitz has seen it but ignored or written off some of the signs like the night after Ozzie’s. But it’s also hard for a deprived person to recognize any sort of positive emotion or kindness
He definitely was. I love Stolas but it’s EXTREMELY concerning how many of y’all have just completely forgotten about the “impish little plaything” line along with many others. Stolas is a great character but as it stands right now he is NOT a good person. He’s TRYING to be, sure, but he has a long way to go before he’s redeemed and even then Blitzø is absolutely not obligated to forgive him. Both of them are super toxic and unfair towards each other and it really irritates me that y’all only want to see Stolas’ side and ignore all the horrible things he’s said and done to Blitzø. Yes. Blitzø cooked.
@@jittercritter I believe the tendency of people to empathise more with Stolas’ side stems from the fact that, while for Blitzø his emotional toxicity and issues are more blatant, for Stolas’ things are more subtle: he is someone that had his entire life dictated by others in every minute aspect, until he suddenly couldn’t take it anymore and blowed up, suddenly deciding to do things by his own accord. This means that every choice he makes, from following his heart with Blitzø to insulting Stella, has a very cathartic connotation, even when they’re fundamentally selfish choices (especially towards Octavia). The fact that he suddenly got all this freedom and control over his life seems exciting at first, but it also means that someone that has never previously made important emotional choices got that chance now, which inevitably results in him making lots of mistakes in the process, purely out of ignorance and ineptitude. This doesn’t automatically justify his wrong doings, but it makes them more understandable and easier to sympathise with.
Stolas should have not walked away from Blitzø Im gonna be honest. He should have idk shake Blitzø and say he IS serious about his feelings and not walk away! UGH I hate this but also so well written D;
On one side you have man who lived his whole life around others not taking him seriously at all, forced in marriage full of mockery and yelling on daily basis (and physical abuse from what we saw in 2x01) who might have a chance to have actually someone who cares or at least doesn't make fun of him.. unfortunately this other guy is his only social experience and he doesn't know better (was tricked TWICE and then robbed. For the second time the other guy was at least caught). But he can't help it and wants more from whatever they have. Sex is fine and all (he picked everything from the first ecounter anyway) but he always felt warmth towards this other guy and nownhe finally figured out he wants more than just sexual relationship with him. This time he said clearly what he wanted to say, provided better option with opened way for a relationship if possible... only to be seemingly mocked and yelled at once again.. and the fact he didn't do it in his regular state if mind (he was out of pills) didn't help at all.. On the other side you have this "lowlife" (as everyone made him believe) who got tangled in this weird situation with frikin royalty. This owl guy now decided to get the book away from him, then give him some crystal, so he doesn't have to keep visiting him and return the book before getting it back.. (rejection?! Is he sick of him??) and then he started role playing for sex..? Actually no, that was apparently some serious bs he just spat at him in matter of 2 minutes and 10 seconds when he only waited 14 seconds for the response. Like ok, yelling wasn't a good idea - he started crying - but could he give him another 5 seconds to finish the damn sentence? What is he supposed to do now? What was that owl even on about??
