Helping good friend sail his new to him SeaSprite 34 home from Mobjack back to Little Creek. We are really just there for company. He is the real sailor /mariner. Really nice boat and really nice sail down the bay!
Another fine video on your channel! Thanks. I don't know the boat of course, but somehow this footage gives me a positive feeling about it. I looked 'Sprite 34' up on the internet. Those look great! I like boats like this and I can see why the new owner 'fell' for it. I also like the Scandinavian Marieholms, Grindes, and 60s/70s designs by Van der Stadt. The yacht featured in the video is a little 'rough' around the edges but that's good: you see what you get. What's the plan with the deck?
Her new skipper is very capable. I expect she will be ship shape and bristol fashion in no time. Beyond paint and non-skid, not really sure about colors, brands, etc.
Sweet! From where did you depart and where did you arrive? Any details on the boat? Interior looks to be in good condition. He needs to get those handrails reinstalled asap!
We left from the North River on Mobjack Bay. His slip is in Little Creek Marina. He has the hand rails and they are on the list. The boat has been well maintained and is in very good condition. Mostly cosmetic care and some rigging and maybe a jib sail in its future. Your boat may have peeked some interest in the boat.
John, I know you are familiar with these Sea Sprite sailboats, I'm a new owner to this 34. I would be interested in hearing your opinion on moving traveler on this boat(my boat) to cabin top just in front of dodger. It is currently located on bridgedeck. I want to move for better companion way access and to add a bridge from dodger to bimini....more shade!!!
