The laser screed is a Godsend for the lower back! Man I wish that was around 20 years ago. It was fun watching them pour soooo slowly and daintily. I'm used to the old bridge finishers, where they empty a truck as fast as it'll dump. Those boys are bloody top level skilled... and all have bad backs. LOL

That was an awesome job to watch. The guy operating that machine definitely knows what he's doing and the crew are very well trained. Technology is fast making jobs like these with better faster results and saving a few backs from future pain. I helped hand scree a driveway once and knew it wasn't the profession for me. Thanks Mike for this off the usual track video.

Very nicely done indeed, had the pleasure of taking lead of pouring a Tractor Supply Company floor in Middlebury Vermont and the big boss had hired in a laser screed, talk about a game changing piece of equipment. That paired with the rode on trowels and gas powered buggies took what would've been a nightmare and made it practically a walk in the park. Was great to take a walk down memory lane, thanks for bringing us along DP. Keep up the great work my man 😁 👍

I’ve heard of and seen pictures of these but it’s nice to see one in use on an actual job and not just a manufacturer sales video under ideal conditions. @@jackgreen412 there are some stresses having your own company like when u have a 10 yard patio and u ordered 10 yards but say tye plant is an hour away and it's 95 degrees out, that's stressful, or if u r pouring a 6 am 100 yard pour. are all the guys going to show up, or the rain, that's always a lil stressful, but as far as doing concrete as an employee or just helping a friend. nah that's not too stress full. but youtube is kinda stressful especially the going live thing. Thanks Mike for showing us how the laser screed works. Definitely, a labor-saving machine, and as you mentioned it would take getting used to, and time would make a person better with it. Also as you mentioned it would be very handy for bigger jobs because of its size and even though it maneuvers fairly easily it has some restrictions but certainly would save the contractor many man hours that he would have to pass on to the customer. Thanks again Mike! J.R.
