Thank you brother for helping someone who is in need. And I know you don’t shout it out when you help someone. You are sharing God’s blessing as he has blessed you and your family. In so doing he will continue to bless you.
Helping someone like you just did will come back on you ten fold. I found this out later in life. Lester is one very happy man and very lucky to have a friend like you. You WILL be rewarded in so many ways!! PROUD OF YA!!! Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!! Greetings from Perth Ontario Canada!!!
God bless you , Mike Morgan! More people like you would certainly make America a better place to live. I have watched your channel since I saw the. I JUST LEFT IT ALL. I am sure I am paraphrasing. What a wonderful family you have and all the the best for you and your family. You left me with a few tears this time brother and that is just fine.Thank you for being who you are!
Helping out others is an important part of humanity, thanks for sharing. I do not think us viewers see it as bragging but showing us there are good people in the world. Thanks for being a great example.
Nice one Mike. Great little feelgood vid showing that some people still know about humanity. In these crazy days, we all have to look out for the vulnerable and elderly. Loved the Night of the Living Dead reference. Romero was from Pittsburgh and all the filming was done in PA. Genre defining movie.
Nice reverse tail gate maneuver Mike. Look froward to seeing the new bucket in action. It always feel good to help folks out and I am sure Lester appreciates your help.
Mike … here’s to helping Lester out because you want to and because you can !!! Humility is an asset more people could benefit from through practicing random acts of kindness anonymously ❤😎
Thank You Mike For Being A Good Samaritan And Helping An Older Gentleman Out!! Much Appreciated!! Love The Birdseye view From The Drone Gives Us All A Whole Different Perspective!! Keep Smiling On!! 😄👍👊❤️
Mike, I have had a lot of respect for you since I have been watching your videos for the past four years now. Today, that respect has increased a great deal more after watching this video. We are all supposed to help our fellow man whenever we can. Thanks for a great video. Have a day! Chris from South Central West Virginia
Thanks for a nice video Mike! I always try to pass on my Blessings. Makes a man feel good when he can do something for someone. My uncle was a large dozer operator on 79 when it was first put there. Back in the 70's
I wish everybody would use Mike as an example. This is what we all need to do every day help one another and especially the elder. God bless you, Mike. Thank you
Mike I appreciate you doing that for this gentleman, I've been helping a neighbor down the road fixing some low spots in his yard hes 83 yrs old and lost his wife 6 months ago and he missed her dearly!, he was so happy to have the low areas fixed and that made my day until a few weeks ago, he passed away and hes with his wife again!. There are times in life where we need to help the elderly and a lot are struggling to make it but you never hear them complain and that means a lot to me!. That new bucket is awsome you will really love the angle feature I cant wait to see you use it!.
Hey Mike, truly enjoying your channel. I’m a new subscriber from Ontario Canada. I love what you do. I get how good it feels to be able to help someone whenever possible. This world needs more of it these days! Thanx for doing what you do. 👍🏻
Good on you Mike and Melissa we need to get back to helping one another out. There are so many people that turn a blind eye on someone in need. We are one of those people who don’t have much but when we can we share with others who are in need. We feel it’s a responsibility in a way if that makes sense. Love your channel and the diversity of content, watch all the time. God bless.
Boy Mike that brought back my trip home to northern PA and back home to NC seeing that bridge and yes your right i swear everytime i go over that bridge and up or down 79 theres always road costruction happening. Buy its that way all the way up 79 and then 80 across PA to the shippenville exit and hwy 66 north.Always alot of construction on 80 too. But its a nice drive on 66 up through the Alleghany forest . The way to tell your in PA on 79 north is when you hit the PA line it about shakes and raddles your vehicle apart the road in pa is so rough from all the salt in the winter. Tberes been a couple times it had been paved and smooth but alot of the time its ruff as heck. That was kind thijg of you to do for that old man. Im sure he really appreciated it but yep i think hes going to need another load atleast to fill those big mudd holes and some where he parks and its alittle muddy . But very nice jesture for your to help the elderly like that and Same with Bob even though Bob is elderly himself he still wants to help his buddy and probably others as well. Oh but it is a big deal to the person your doing the kind deed for Mike and for all of us to see just how big a heart you have and of coarse Mellisa too. I onoy wish i was in that same situation where i could do nice things like that for people who can use the help. Its getting to where im becoming one of those people with this Biden progressive economy. Its getting harder and harder every month to afford the necessities i need. Just to many medical loans to pay off surgeries from chronic kidney failure and now my back is screwed up and have scoliosis of the spine and all my joint replacments and issues with arthritis . 63 yrs old and feel like 93. Life is wonderful but its definitely harder the older we get especially with health issues . It is what is is and making the best of it every day. You keep doing what you do so i and the rest of us can watch you do it . Enjoy your videos so much .thank you
God made man with two hands. One for receiving and, in my opinion the important one, the other for giving. It's so important to give a helping hand to the elderly, the less fortunate and the needy! OUTSTANDING! God bless you Mike! 🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲
That was very amazing for you to help him out. You do so much for all of your followers, bless you and your family as well. Don't stop being the caring person you are Mike!
Lester is lucky you are the type of individual you are. Helping others is a impressive character quality you have. I believe your whole family has been taught this quality. Thanks for sharing this part of your life with us. Thanks for your channel and your family. Keep the videos coming.
Hey Mike I built my house on a five acre wooded lot and pretty much heated the house using a wood stove. Even though a cord of oak cost 100.00 back then I always told myself if I had to purchase firewood I wouldn’t use my stove. I only removed dead or storm damaged trees and I never ran out of wood in 37 years. I guess that’s the down side of living on a quarter acre lot.
My husband and I are 70 and 76 years old. We have absolutely nothing in common with you and your lifestyle. But we never miss your RU-vid videos. This one was great! I think there is nothing that gives more satisfaction than helping another person.
Mike, it’s selfless acts like you helping someone that can use it without expecting anything in return is a measure of a good person in my opinion. I always feel better when I do something like that!
You’re a good man, Mike. And Melissa is equally good! I’ll be 68 and I am always amazed at how many ways our lives mimic each others. Keep on making a difference. It’s not always easy but it truly matters. God bless!
I played BB in Colt and American Legion on a field just like that back in the late 60's. Mike and and Melissa, you are both such charitable people. Thank you for all you do to help those in need.
Great job Mike!!! To those who say "it must be nice" , Mike doing things like this is why God has allowed him to do what he does. Mike and his family has a heart of Gold and does for others. Keep up the great work Mike!!! God Bless you and your Family!!!!
God Bless you and your family Mr. Morgan❤ Just recently I had an opportunity to teach my Son the importance of paying it forward. We all must never forget how blessed we are and how important it is to always pay it forward without recognition. Thank you God for this family and channel!!
Helping fellow man is an almost forgotten ideal. So many people today is " what do I get out of it". Thanks you for your service to help those that need it. Hopefully the many that watch your channel will help others. I would like to challenge everyone that sees this to help someone this week out if the goodness of their heart. Great video Mike.
No sir it is not forgotten not even almost. Find a Bible believing church and you’ll see this all the Time. It is what we do because it is commanded even those of us disabled.
Just wanted to say out of all the good things you do I'm glad to see how important the wife is to you and how you let her participate in the videos without interrupting her. It's nice to see and adds so much to your shows.
I love this video. You all are doing a good thing. My granddad did a lot of what you do helping others in this small community. He always knew who was in need and his thing was his garden. He always made sure to give the people in need produce to help them out.
I watch but rarely comment, However I just wanted to say Thank You for helping that elderly Man! I enjoy seeing things like this when people like you help another individual. Random acts of kindness are what we need for our Aging Community, Especially in times like these. Lets face it, we are All going to be older one day... God Bless You Sir ❣🙏
I think it's great that your able to help people out once in a while it really means a lot to them and it's a good feeling when anyone dose something too help another.
Thank you for paying it forward and helping others. Keep up with the worthy work for others. Thank you for sharing your stories with us and allowing us to participate, in a round about way, with your efforts to help others.
Just thinking of the time devoted to this helping hand act. The time to cut the tree up, split the wood, load it up and drive it to house, go get-deliver-spread the stone….outstanding!
That was big hearted of you Mike. Reached a couple milestones this weekend. First, my 72nd birthday is today & secondly tomorrow will be the wife's & my 50th anniversary. Always enjoy content. Just keep on keeping on
That was very kind Mike. I would love to see you try to do something for someone like once a week if possible. You could teach others to be more giving by what you do. Warms my heart to see what you did. You are a good Man. God will continue to bless you and your Family. Love your videos.
God bless you and your family for remembering the people that need help. I watch your channel because of the people I get to associate with and do not know personally but feel like I do. Again God bless you and Melissa.
I agree you don't have to shout it from the roof tops, but some people need proof that there are still good folks on the world. I don't need proof, but I do really enjoy being shown small acts of kindness...it helps restore my faith in humanity.
Mike, great to see you helping Lester. I am sure he appreciates it. Kindness and generosity goes a long way. If you take another load of gravel in, tailgate from both sides of the obstruction. Years ago we had a similar situation. The driver pulled under the wires, tailgate under the wires, pulled forward spreading as he did. Turned the truck around, did the same thing in the opposite direction. Worked out perfectly.
I'm glad you can help your friends & neighbors. It's a nice thing you do out of the goodness of your heart. If watching your videos is what it takes to help someone, then keep up the good work. You and Melissa are great people. Drone footage of the trees turning is very pretty. Stay safe.
Love the OWTM channel, it has brought me much joy over the few years that I've been watching. And yes Mike, you have been blessed with a great family and much of this world's goods. However, all of that has not altered your personality or your strong will to help those who are less fortunate. God bless you and yours.
Another good video Mike you’re right if you want to help somebody out just do it. I don’t cut as much wood as you do but I do help out other people because I enjoy cutting wood It helps me relax.
Mike and Melissa, another good video. I believe that helping out when you can is the right thing to do and is what God wants us to do. You are blessed to have such great memories growing up and also making memories with you family. Keep up the good work, God Bless
You're a wicked nice guy Mike! Thank you for helping those in need.... We need so much more of that in today's world. Yes, I'm from NH where wicked good means really really good. Thank you
Enjoy Your history lessons as My old mentor used to say that got Me started in trucking! Thank You for giving back some of Your rewards to people that appreciate the help!
I’ve helped a guy the last ten years with firewood. He had both of his legs cut off because of diabetes. I just give it to him. One year I traded another guy hauling all of a his corn for him for 3 cords of wood to give to Dan. I’ve never charged him. One year I was working at the mill a lot and couldn’t get any firewood cut so I paid to have Dan’s heating fuel tank filled and had my buddy get his furnace working. I paid for it all. He passed away a few weeks ago unfortunately. Miss him already.
It is wonderful that you are willing and able to help those who are not able to help themselves. It is even more refreshing to see it being done without the need for recognition. God bless you and your family.
Mike, I appreciate your thanks! I had no idea that I would be a participant in your providing help to Lester when I woke up this morning and watched an episode of Outdoors WTM.
Good job Mike! Spreading all that stone with a rake is a work-out! I also do a lot of driveway work with my dump trailer. I cut a wedge shaped block of wood and place it in the middle inside the tailgate before I load the stone. That way, when I dump, the majority of the stone goes in the wheel tracks...giving me another 30% distance on my run. You are welcome to improve on the idea..... Helping neighbors and paying it forward is so gratifying.
Somebody else said to put a cinder block in the middle of the tail gate. I use a short piece of 8" pipe with a piece of angle iron welded to it to keep it from rolling around.
Mike that was very gracious of you to do that for for an elderly man I wish there was more of that in the world today would be a lot better place to live
Mike, when you help someone you are the one getting the gift. It feels so good when you can help someone in need. You’re a good man Mike Morgan. Thanks for sharing
Good on you Mike and Melissa, I know how it makes you feel warm and fuzzy. Thanks for sharing with us. Keep up the great work around there and the super videos. We do enjoy watching you and your family work and play. Tell the crews we said hello and stay safe. Fred.
What a blessing you were able to do that for him. You are 100% right, you should do kind deeds without tooting your own horn but it is such a great reminder for ALL of us to see it from time to time, first hand!!! Sooooooo thankful you are able to help others through your amazing channel. You are my husband's go-to to start his day.
It’s a pleasure to see people help people today we all can use help for sure if my likes and comments help glad to a part of it well done Morgan’s 👍👋🇨🇦
👍👍👍👍👍👌Very heart warming story regarding Lester and helping with his needs and asking nothing in return, helping someone who keeps his property clean and manicured but just needs a little help on things he may not be able to do anymore, also the baseball story added balance, thanks for knitting it all together in your presentation, and taking us along for the ride!!
