It brings tears to my eyes when I see someone laying down like that. "Expiration dates" on cans are "best by" dates and the product is still safe much later, it just might not taste as good...(Whether it's a can of soup or a forgotten can of cranberry sauce, you might be tempted to throw them away. Not so fast! According to the USDA, shelf-stable foods are safe to eat indefinitely, and you can eat them well past their expiration date.Jul 10, 2023_). I detest people who give "old" food to people, I would not give anyone something I would not eat myself!

Caned goods can last up to 10 years as long as the can is not dented. But I understand you wanting to give them unexpired canned food. ….. It made me sad to think anyone would give their half eaten food to anyone! ……. Poor Jessica, I’m worried about her, as a mother of a daughter we hurt worse for these lost souls. …Btw,my daughter is fine. I’m just a Mama Bear.

I’ll eat expired food, but I agree with you. I don’t believe in giving expired food to others, it’s about dignity to me.

Michael you are God sent to these people and that lady that needed clothes you texted her mother said she didn't know why God was doing this to her. Our actions are our doings. God wants the best for us. God bless you.
