Street speed 717 show us that we can buy a 725hp f 150 for 40k. I truly don't see the value pay 70k on top of a base Raptor.

For everyone who’s watching and wants to know. There’s two ways to have a V8 Raptor. This company that puts a V8 in a Raptor. But it’ll cost you 150 grand. Plus their build time is several months and they are limiting production to just a hundred a year I believe. But you’ll have a real Raptor with a V8. There’s another company that takes any trim level F-150 V8 crew cab and takes OEM parts and bolts on everything to make a Raptor Clone. They’ll even bolt on aftermarket parts to customize it how you want. They are also doing the F-150 diesel trucks now. There is a few off road modes you won’t have like the Baja Mode with their conversion. Their build time is about a month and will cost you about 35 grand if you want the suspension, bodywork, and supercharger on top of the price of the 2015 or newer F-150 you either already have or just bought.

Also, I would LOVE to have either of these trucks, but the truth is....most people can't afford the stock truck let alone the Hennessey version. You guys want to make some serious money? Take a stock F150 and make it compete with a stock Raptor for $50k.

In my honest opinion, the only way that the new Raptor should have left the factory is with a Supercharged Coyote 5.0 V8.

The Super-cab is like 1,000lbs lighter then the Super-crew.

Supercab v8 vs stock CREW cab v6. Not a direct comparison.

Hennessey should have given the curb weight of each truck. While it doesn't appear to be a direct comparison due to supercab vs. supercrew, the bumpers on the V8 truck alone likely add 250lbs or so. The Coyote V8 weighs more than the V6 with the 2.9L S/C on there. The wheels and rubber likely weigh 25lbs more per wheel. All the upgrades add up. As far as the price is concerned, this truck isn't marketed to people who are going to finance or sell off other belongings to purchase it. Most of the customer base isn't going to stress over dropping $150k on a truck like this.

The V8 raptor doesn’t have the same number of doors that the V6 raptor has .... Super Cab vs Super Crew Cab not a good comparison even with the difference in engines.. Ford has single Cab Super Cab and Super Crew Cab. Why not make one identical to the V8 It’s only fair.. with that been said I would definitely buy a V8 raptor If Ram never existed 🤣😂🤪

Yes the gap is big but the v6 seemed to keep pace at full speed. Should have a full demo to sell your truck at 100k+.
