Henri Matisse Inspired Collage: Artist Inspired Artwork Class Series 

I love merging my love of art making with my love of art history, and sharing those passions with others. I've begun teaching artist inspired art classes through our community Resource Center where I present a brief lecture about the life and artwork of an artist. Then we create artwork or experiment with techniques inspired by that artist's work. In this video I create one of my sample mixed collages for a class about Fauvist Henri Matisse.
In this video I create a collage inspired by the decollage artworks Matisse created later in his life and art career.
