Great to see the excitement of this seasoned TEAM. If we could convince folks to CPR (catch-photo- release) and pack out their trash- we can better ensure this legacy for the future. I live one the lake- come for coffee next time.

Lots of people but there's plenty of room for everyone. Way better than the Henry's Fork. Super crowded with all of the drift boats.

I am a new fly fisher and like only an hour from Henry's lake, I only have floating line at the moment, how long should my leader and tippet be for using leeches here on opening weekend?

Floating line will work but you will need an indicator to use with the leech and probably a leader of 10-15 feet. If you stop in the Drift Lodge Fly Shop they can help get you set up right. Have fun!

So is handling the fish i.e. holding them with dry hands (that removes slime) out of the water and squeezing them bad for the fish or not. I’ve always been taught this is the case.

Hi Johnny, I believe the hybrids as with the cutthroat are stocked. I believe the brookies are reproducing naturally. While we were filming they stocked over 50,000 cutts and hybrids. Cheers, Phil

Dude, if you are a guide, everything I research 15 breath counts out of the water for the fish before Gil destruction starts...So please, you did over, way over, please be cognoscente.
