Thanks so much! It was great meeting you, and we really appreciate you sharing your knowledge of the area. And, your advice for avoiding that 10% grade!
Hey guys! We have some sad news, one of our pups passed away suddenly almost a month ago while we were still in Key Largo. She was the younger one and it knocked us all for a loop. We stayed there about 2 weeks after she passed and then made a stop in Lakeland to see my parents before we headed west. We are currently in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. Staying here 3 more weeks before moving on to Utah and eventually up near where you are now. Congrats on the new rig and the decision to have a home base. Safe travels.
It’s great to hear from you! So sorry about your pup. 😞 I know it’s difficult for you guys as well as your other pup. Have you guys been in this area before? It is such a gorgeous part of the country! Stay safe! Hopefully our paths will cross on the road again soon!
ChangingTheView yep, we love it there!! We stayed at the RV park across the street from the state park once, at Grant campground in the park once and at lonesome hurst campground once. We love that area. Thank you for your condolences. Stay safe.
Nice rig! Looks like an awesome floorplan. Also, sounds like a good plan on the homestead. Check the website of Valor Steel buildings in Daphne, AL. They have some designs and pics. They did my shop and I highly recommend them. They will do a turn key job or simply drop the materials at your site and you can find your own builder. With a metal building, you don't have termite issues and have very rigid wind and fire resistance. The outside can be designed to look anyway you want. BTW, I have no interest in Valor, but really like my man cave.
