Thank you Her’s. In the future my bud (Blake Buentello) and I will be covering Her’s songs together! He’ll be playing the bass and I’ll be playing the guitar. Stay tuned to get the whole Her’s cover package! We’ll be including songs that aren’t normally covered such as “Cop Theme” and “Breathing Easy”. Again, thank you Stephen and Auden. It was my pleasure covering your songs.
I love Her's and I'm getting back into guitar during quarantine and finding the shrine of Her's tutorials just made my life better, thabk you so much! :)
You should post a video on your warm up or exercise, im self taught and i dont normaly stretch so its hard when songs like this need to stretch two fingers acros 4 frets
Listen bro either I missed it or you forgot the part where he plays the single strings of the normal chords on the last part, if that makes sense, the part where he plays the chords 1 time and then right after he plays the solo, I just really need to know what pattern it is because in your cover, it's unclear what order you're plucking the strings. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's at 5:16 on your cover vid. I just really wanna know how to play that solo.
Hey bro! You’re correct, it isn’t in the tutorial. But one thing that will make it easier for you is that the chords are the same, and you’re kinda just going up and down (string wise). If you play the chord, you can hear when I play the higher note in the chord which will help you out a bit. But ya man it’s the same exact chords. Just add some spice to it (fingerpicking wise). There is also a video of him playing it, he’s wearing a green sweater. You may be able to hear it better there.
Oh! Also, you’ll only be plucking the strings you are pressing down on in the chord. And that higher note you hear is the open first string with that capo on the 3rd. That’ll be the only open note. I really hope this help bro. If you got any more questions to make it more visual let me know. I hope this helped. You’ll get it soon!
@@matthewgarcia4166 I actually just came back to delete my comment, I actually just learned it by ear which felt really good, thanks for responding so quick too man. You're awesome!
