This story is crazy! I think he loved the baby he THOUGHT was his and when he found out it was from a kidnapped girl, he couldn’t go to the police bc he probably would have been a suspect AND he killed Noel so, there’s that and I think when he saw Laurel, he felt like Poppy could have her own blood relatives, mom/grandma or grandma but, now “mom” be a part of her life in a twisted way of thinking.
@thejava.witchiswhispering
@thejava.witchiswhispering Год назад
I think Poppy's intelligence and maturity can be attributed to two factors. Firstly, abused kids have to grow up fast. Simple as that. Secondly, as a homeschooled student, she would have been interacting primarily with her dad, or any tutors that she had. Her interaction with kids her own age would have been limited, if existent at all. Thus, you just get a really mature child. Or maybe Noelle was a brain surgeon, and performed intelligence enhancing surgeries on Poppy as a child. 😃
@dragonninja3655
@dragonninja3655 Год назад
Homeschooling doesn't mean lack of interaction. I had way more of a social life before I went to a brick school. Homeschooling you have more clubs, more field trips, a lot of homeschool friends, a lot more free time since you can do that classes at a faster pace, your schedule is more adaptable, you probably have at least 1 class type thing a week with other kids, plus you see a lot of different people not just the same kids in your grade so you have a lot of new interactions and friend making opportunities, etc. I don't know why so many people seem to think homeschooling means you were trapped in a basement with no contact with the outside world when I my experience and from what I've seen with other people it is the exact opposite. You have way less social stuff going on when you go to a brick school
@Dear_Lumine33
@Dear_Lumine33 Год назад
Also keep in mind that highly intelligent people also have a higher inclination to be neurodivergent. My best guess is that Poppy is a combination of autistic, traumatized, and homeschooled.

A theory less than an hour in: he kidnapped the daughter, had a kid with her, then mxrdered her, poppy is the daughter. Making poppy 9 years old and her lookalike. He's using poppy to get closer to the mother. Theory 2 at 1 hour in: Poppy is Ellie. For some reason she just never grew much and he manipulated her into thinking she's his daughter. That's why she acts older and looks so much alike. Theory 3: Ellie was kidnapped by Noëlle and they did something to her to create Poppy NOT TOO FAR OFF OMG

stephanie I really love how you bounced back from the criticism in relation to previous true crime telling style, and how you really listened to what peoples thoughts were and did something new! I love this bubbly/cooking/mukbang etc mixed with books like thats genius. and youve been doing really well with the rotten mango stuff too!

It’s crazy how, today, Floyd’s mom wouldn’t be allowed to get an abortion, but also wouldn’t be allowed to re-adopt him bc of her financial standing. Pro-life, or pro-controlling women’s bodies?🤔

literally where my thoughts were during that part of the video 😂 its boggling how there are literally people out there with the mindset of forcing Floyd's mother (a child) to give birth since it's her "responsibility" but then when it comes to her adopting her own son its out of the question, the reason being she's a child 😂

What I thought happened was that the tutor for Ellie was a boy and that ended up being floyd and Floyd kidnapped Ellie and brainwashed her to believe he is her father. And that Floyd wanted Laurel to see Poppy/Ellie for some twisted dark reason but then he started to fall in love with her and felt bad lol
