There’s a dark story behind all this and I feel so bad for her, especially how he called her sexy and she said the things he would do. I hope she heals.

Right, she caused a whole lot of confusion by telling that man that he was the father, but knowing or feeling the whole time that he wasn't. That's why she didn't push it like she could have. However, he's been thinking for 32 years he's the father and he didn't do much as well. It's sad that it came out the way it did, but hopefully they all get closure on this part now.

In some states if you are married , yes but a simple DNA test can change all of that.

@@karismatimara6197a DNA test can’t always changed it if the man already signed it. States very on it. Many have time limits and some what would look at the “best interest of the child” if they would remove the name or not. Easiest solution is not to sign anything if there is even a smidge of doubt.

It’s just not the USA. Many countries have similar laws especially on assumption of paternity if the man is married to the mother.

I agree, if a man signs the birth certificate having been told he’s the father by the woman and then finds out later he is not the father, then he should be able to remove his name and be absolved of all responsibility instantly. I know that’s not the way it is, but that is the way it should be. I am also of the opinion that paternity tests should be required at birth before any birth certificate is signed.

This was a mess. That mom was foul. Kieth is a pig. And the judge is an enabler.

He had like a 7% chance of being the father, she won't admit it, but she's lucky they didn't have to test the other 11 men. That would have been 2-3 more episodes.

The daughter doesn't get a long with her mother, her biological father, her half sister or the father's family. Coupled with her attitude on the show, I think the daughter may be the problem. She has a lot of anger issues she need to address.

I've never claimed to be their father, but my sons wish me a Happy Father's Day because even though they saw their dad, I seriously played both roles in their lives: I taught them how to drive, to change a tire, and even gave them "the talk" - all the traditional father activities. So yeah...sometimes a mother has to step up and do the hard thing. He did the same thing to his next wife, leaving the men in her family - and my own sons - to pick up the slack.

At the very end his other daughter says “He says the same thing to me all the time.” so i think the judge and the mom are correct - thats just his vocabulary. I would almost connect it to his own ego lol that he thinks he’s a catch so therefore his daughters are sexy. Fr my aunt's ex came to the hospital after I had my daughter and asked to hold my baby and said oh hey sexy she's so sexy😮😮😮 I said give me my baby. Then everyone was leaving and I was going to breastfeed he thought he was going to stay in the room. I had to tell him to leave. Mind you my aunt left the hospital he went somewhere in the hospital but came back in my room. Because when the sign the birth certificate, they accept that child as their own. Similar to signing adoption papers - once you adopt a child, you accept that child is legally yours, DNA or not.

Signing the birth certificate means you are legally taking responsibility of the child. If you have doubt, don't sign.

@@Nanee907 So, I would have to disagree with you on that. IF your child, husband, sister, friend, etc....etc is ACTING in such a way, and you call it out, that doesn't mean that you DON'T love them! It simply means you are bothered by their actions and you are calling them out on those said actions. Who knows what the mother went thru growing up? Who knows how the mother was raised growing up? Those 2 very things more often than not, determine how one carries themselves in teenager hood and/or early adulthood and sometimes beyond that - same goes for the daughter. Every issue has a root -in the case of the daughter her actions/words towards the father seemingly have been hateful/devilish (so the mother wasn't being wrong when she stated that) BUT there IS a reason/root for WHY her actions/words have been such! Does not mean that the mother doesn't love her daughter by calling it out though! Try this, mother AND daughter both need extensive therapy for what they have both been thru individually.

He signed the birth certificate, and also said that he just got the child support letter two weeks prior to the show. So that means that he never paid a dime and waited until he got that garnishment letter to do anything about it. The mother hadn't received a dime from him at that point, so there's nothing for her to pay back to him.

That's why it's important to teach your boys how the law works regarding paternity, before they start bedding down with Sally or Sue.. The law is quite clear,if you sign the birth certificate, without a DNA test first,you are Legally responsible for that child,even if years go by and you get a DNA test that proves you're not the father, you're still responsible for payment until you petition the court to be removed.. If you are married and a child is born,you are automatically responsible for that child,up until you get DNA that proves otherwise.. Men need to stop signing birth certificates out of love,think with their brains and get DNA first,they can always go back and have their name added after paternity is established.. Stop blaming women for a man's lack of understanding of the law and their rights, period!

One way you can start is with an ancestry DNA. If anybody else from your father's side has done one... It will link you all.

I found my dad back in 2020. I couldn't find him at all for so many years but finally had a breakthrough when I did Ancestry DNA. Since then I have helped a lot of people find their father/parents.
