“Her”… She’s my ex. She wasn’t my first girlfriend, she was my third. But she’s the one I consider my real “first love” partner. My previous relationships were when I was still in my early stages of adolescence. I truly thought I understood “love” and what it felt like to love that special someone, but I discovered I was wrong when I met “her” and everything changed. The me who earnestly hated waking up in the mornings, would look forward to it. Seeing her name on my phone instantly put a smile on my face. Hearing her name made me think of her face. Every aspect of my life was changing to fit her into my lifestyle and I loved everything about it. The view I have of the chilly night air during winter always reminds me of her. I’d get out of my late night college classes, text her I’m coming home, and my face would just light up with joy when she’d reply to me every time before I got to the car. It’s a shame things never worked out in the end out of personal reasons, but she’s forever etched into my life. I doubt I could ever forget about… “her”.

Some people say I should get over her, but they don't understand. I don't miss her. I just miss what she, we, could have become. Guys i was 15 when i met her im now 18 and at the time we dated i was supposed to go a foster home and she pleaded to her dad to let me stay and he let me. We dated for 8 months and i got to comfortable and started not appreciatng the things. I used well im currently 18 and so is she. And we both moved out still not having any contact with each other. Well i picked up and knocked back somw shots last friday and drunk texted her fast foward today she picked me up from work because it was raining it was very unexpected. But i went alone with it becasue i didnt want to take the bus. We sat in her car for hours tonight and smoked. Finnaly we looked at each other and let everything out it was so pure mann. And we relized we didnt even remember the last argument. Im gunna come back to this in a week remind me tho.

We all know that there’s options if we are willing to look, but it’s those experiences with that one particular person. I never understood how one keeps going back to a person who they know is bad for them. Not until I met _her._ It took me twelve years to finally walk away. It's been four years since I last spoke to her; since I last even saw her. I don't even know if she's still alive. It's ironic. She walked away so many times to make me hurt, though she always came back because she never really meant to leave. Yet when I walked away myself, she's vanished without a trace. Hi all. I want to speak out here... Recently, through my fault, I broke up with my girlfriend. But I didn't want this. The story is this: We were together for 3 years, lived together in the same apartment for 1 year, we had a dream since I was 16, but in the last year I set myself a goal, on the way to which I lost all my friends... and her.
