When I had Covid, I tried using an onion poultice on my chest. It was very comforting. I also drank elderberry syrup and mullein tea. The best was fire cider tea with honey. I was fearful I'd have a rough time since I'm 76 and asthmatic. But the worst was over within a week.

45kareen what is fire cider tea ?
@45kareen
@45kareen 2 года назад
@@c.c.3341 Sorry this is so late. I'm not very computer savvy. I just noticed the notification bell on RU-vid. Fire Cider is an extraction of herbs in apple cider vinegar. Submerge them for 1-2 months, then strain. Keeps shelf stable in mason jar. A tablespoon with honey and hot water daily when my immune system is down. My recipe" 2 chopped onions, piece of fresh turmeric, same of horseradish and ginger, 2 hot peppers, garlic cloves, 2 lemons, black pepper, cinnamon, and 3 cloves. Makes around a quart.

One thing anybody can do that is completely natural and helps keep lungs clear is: Several times a day, take three or four very deep breaths, as deep as you can. This helps bring up mucus, and gets more oxygen in your blood. You might cough at first but don't suppress it.

When I had C19 last July, along with my high dose vitamins D and liposomal C and zinc, I took a Quercetin supplement that helped tremendously as well as fire cider. In addition, I purchased an expectorant from Urban Moonshine that contained the herb elecampane. The taste was vile, but BOY, did it help me bring up the ‘stuff’ that had my chest so tight!

I put about an inch of water in a sauce pan making sure the pan is larger or fits than the burner that I am using. Once the water is boiling and there is a good steam, I add about two Tbls of mullein leaf, a 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and four or five drops of oregano oil. I breath in the steam through my nose and open my mouth and breath as deeply as I can. I will also take 2 tablets of quercetin and 2 tablets of Bromelain 500 mg ea. found on Amazon or in your heath food store. These are very strong and natural antihistamines with no side effects as long as your not allergic to onion, apple peel or pineapple. I make a mullein tea with elderberries, ginger, plantain, a little cayenne pepper and rose hips. These combinations really help...

Thank you for this post, over years I have learnt so much from your videos, I really wish we can have a Rain Country book, I don't know when these websites will want to stop all topics on natural healing.. Recently I was in India trying to help my dad (age 73) heal from a cough that he was suffering from for over a year.. Things that helped him were a tea made with Sukku ( dry ginger, ginger skinned and dried as whole for quite sometime in the sun, then stored for using during cough and cold days), Thippili (Long pepper (Piper Longum) helps with the flow of oxygen in the lung), Tulsi (Holy Basil as they call it in the west), Raw dried Coriander.. The one that made a big difference for him in less than 10 days was Thuthuvalai (Solanum Trilobatum, we use about 10 of these leaves, roughly chop them with the thorns, stir fry in a spoon of ghee, mix it with plain cooked rice, this is had pre lunch time). These leaves generate lot of heat in the body, so it is a must to consumed it with Ghee. Thuthuvalai leaves help in melting away any mucus deposited in the lung for long duration.. Another observation I had felt and later read about was, liquorice root does not suit everyone, its very very cooling to the body so for a person who has a cold body, it can make cold or running nose more worse.. These things helped him so much.. I know that its not always possible to get all herbs in all countries but its good to know, so that if we do get a hold of them or if we are in different part of the world, we know what to look for..

I live in South Africa (a country on the southern tip of Africa, Mullein grown indigenously in the more dry areas, between mountains on a higher altitude in our area. I would suggest to place it in a very large pot, in sandy soil where it gets as much sun as possible. They are extremely tough, coming up between cracks in the tar next to our roads, but do need some water or occasional rain. Thanks for all the herbal tips, one always learns something new. Blessings

Is Mullein tea similar to wormwood?
@TheTrillionDollarTradeMovie
@TheTrillionDollarTradeMovie 2 года назад
@@centiamodisakeng Not at all. Mullein is a massive plant, with big hairy leaves and pushes from the center a stalk that produces yellow flowers. Almost like Evening Primrose for a lack of a better description.. Just much bigger and very hairy, more so than Comfrey. Mullein is also smoked for lung ailments and many other uses. Like I said, if you want to grow it, give it the right conditions

I had the big ugly virus in March of 2020, and again in October of last year... I have asthma, and it messed my lungs up pretty bad. I had moderate asthma, now it's severe. Mullien has been an absolute game changer for me... I smoke it to clear up excess congestion and calm my airways, and I also make a tea that I drink every few days. I'm definitely going to look into some of these other herbs though. I appreciate all of this amazing info!!!

Thank you for posting, I appreciate your videos! I gave my mom Colloidal silver when she came down with the CV, it made a huge difference she was already pretty ill when I started giving it to her and I probably could have given her more than what I was giving her in a day, but this stuff when to work fast, she is convinced it is what helped her the most. Drs did not give her any meds nor did they offer any solution/options even after a visit to the ER.

I don’t get fever blisters often but I got one the other day and I decided that I was going to try the colloidal silver. It took it away in one day! I was blown away by this!! I put it on multiple times through the day for a couple minute compress. The next day it was completely dried out! I make my own colloidal silver from watching Heidi‘s videos. I took zinc and lots of water it was a breeze, then i contacted the variant of the covid and this one was awful!!! It took a month to get through! I took same remedy as before it wasn't quite as effective on the covid variant! But i added golden honey tincture daily! And it still worked but it left me with a decreased appetite loss of certain smells and massive weight loss it was hard on my heart so I took a tincture to help my heart but I'm good now they say you Develop an immunity I'm waiting for mine to develop because this is the third round of Covid I've had I live by Q large study hospitals so the influx of people and patient is huge I need immunity to step up lol

Thank you Heidi.🙂 I tried the tea from my lungwort. It has no taste at all so I added a bit of lemon balm and mint. As you said, any tea or nebulizer would be helpful. I don't drink as much hot tea this time of year but I'll continue with it in the evening. Osha root tincture has been my go-to for years. 👍 I'll say that the best I ever felt was when I was going to the gym 2-3 times a week. Of course, any upper body workout is great but what really helped me was the treadmill; warm-up, increase the incline for as long as I could and then cool down. The time I was on incline was longer as time went on. 'Use it or lose it' is absolutely true. Also, especially at night, CBD is helpful. Lastly and kinda gross: if you're coughing up phlegm, Spit It Out! You don't want that in your body! I know us women really have a problem with that.☺ I'll continue with the lungwort tea until I'm able to assess it's benefit. Love and blessings! 💜 Edited to add: one of the very old therapies for the lungs was to scoop up some good earth and inhale (not so much as to be inhaling the dirt. 😉)

I have seasonal allergies that cause chest tightness and congestion and I use mullein for it (tincture or I light, blow out, and allow the herb to smoke in a heat-proof dish~~similar to smudging but not for spiritual reasons, just to breathe it). I also experience a lot of anxiety, which can cause my chest to tighten. I really like Lobelia for this (tincture). Lobelia should not be used by anyone on blood pressure meds or who has low BP, as it can lower it. I use chest rub at time and sometimes I use eucalyptus, camphor, rosemary, lavender (I detest the smell of lavender), or mint essential oil in a diffuser. If I feel that myself or someone in our home is getting ill, I'll often slice an onion in half, lay it on a dish, and set it near the bed or wherever the person will be for a length of time. This helps us breathe better. Onions draw toxins, too. I try to stay hydrated when ill. When we had covid I was thirstier than I think I've ever been. I wasn't at all hungry, but I wanted a (not so healthy) "tea" mixture that my Grandma used to serve me. It's a spice 'tea' which contains instant tea mix, Tang, cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, lemonade mix, and a bit of sweetener. Even though I try to eat healthy, I couldn't stomach the thought of food (and I cooked for my sick family throughout the illness because they needed to eat well...), I craved this familiar drink. I do think that even the low-quality vitamin C must have helped and it kept me hydrated and comforted. The spices were something that I could smell and that was nice (I lost my smell for 3 days...). I have been told that dates are good for the lungs, but I'm not sure if that's a fact or not.

Thank you for this video. I had not seen it before today. I ended up following the recommendations of FLCCC website last year. I used the protocol for "C" and post "C". While that helped me a ton, I was recently diagnosed with Glaucoma. The doctor asked if I had sleep apnea. I said no, but that I had "C" last year. While I dont snore or stop breathing while asleep I did take the sleep study test. I think I desaturate at night. I will know the results soon. Anyway, I have a little bit of vision loss in my right eye. Lack of oxygen is a factor. I was fine last year and now not. But Im looking into how to heal my lungs and my right eye's optic nerve. Add Himalayan salt inhaler/pipe to the list! I don't have lung issues [that I know of!] but I use it every now and then. I recommended it to two of my friends who had major issues, and both improved tremendously!

@Kathy Wynn I made one from an empty vitamin bottle . Drilled tiny holes on one side of the bottom. Then you put the Irish gray sea salt in the bottle , no heat just the fumes from the salt . Then just huff the opening of the prepared bottle.
@christinebean7932
@christinebean7932 Год назад
@Kathy Wynn I think its the moisture content of the Irish gray sea salt . All the Himalayan sea salt I've used has been dry. It might work if you mist it lightly before you use it. It would be an experiment , but good idea now that you brought it up I'll probably try as the pink is easier to come by and more cost effective 😉

@Kathy Wynn I think this is Dr Eric Berg video on Himalayan salt inhaler he doesn't say anything about Irish gray sea salt ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-piclSYnxsYQ.html I saw another video on the gray moist salt. Plus before I found this I remembered another video I saw on people getting respiratory and other benefits just walking through Himalayan sea salt caves. 🤗 how this helps. I want to get one of these pots Dr Berg is showing. It looks easier to huff on than my homemade one. 🙂

My bf is now dealing with a lung issue from smoking he was very clogged up yesterday I put a rub on his chest and back and put a light blanket on his shoulders so he wouldn't get a chill. I then put peppermint eo in my diffuser in the bedroom and in 2 of my humidifiers. Also in not knowing for sure if he didn't infact have a cold I also gave him hot chicken soup and copaiba eo soft gel which is good for the cardiovascular, immune system, digestive, respiratory and nervous system. Today he's doing better he can breathe better he's coughing up the junk . In my humidifier I've put lemon eo which helps purify the air .. Eucalyptus and peppermint to help him breathe better. I love your videos I learn so much. I live in a small town and have no place to plant things so I use 100% essential oils and very careful as to what my fur babies maybe allergic to but also make sure they can leave a room to get away from the scent.

I have chronic asthma from moving down to California in my preteen years (surprise! my first asthma attack came after eating Mac' N Cheese for the first time when I was 10; my mother raised us strictly vegan till then). While I love meat (and raise my own meat rabbits), I actually have almost zero asthma or allergies on a complete organic vegan diet (mostly from my own garden), but it's gotten to the point economically I can't afford it (also my ASD child cannot eat meat substitutes because of the texture). Researched ways to ease that naturally: --- Lobelia (Indian tobacco) helps great (but in very low doses - in higher doses like Tablespoons or more, it can be lethal!! Very strong bitter taste so carefully mix it with a strong flavor you love in tea form or make a tincture. The dose for a petite woman of say 5'1" is going to be much smaller than the dose for a 6'3" lumberjack or even an obese woman of 5'1".) --- Strong plain LIGHT ROAST coffee helps. Room temperature helps the body to absorb it faster so it doesn't need to heat or cool the coffee to body temp first. --- Magnesium helps, and Vit A (dark leafy greens) --- Cucumbers seemed to help a lot - I ate lots of them every day the summer I had absolutely no symptoms. Likely was the Vit E in the cucumbers ---Also eating small portions (and add 1 more meal to the day if needed) --- Regular bowel movements (senna can help for blockages) helps --- Restricting high acidic-foods and over-greasy foods to avoid indigestion (inflamed digestive system puts pressure on the lungs and can inflame them as well if it goes on for too long). This sounds countered since coffee helps, BUT what kind of coffee helps most is the Light Roasts. The dark roasts and even medium roasts have been overcooked so much there is hardly any beneficial value to it. You're just drinking burned caffeine if you drink dark roast. --- Green tea helps - likely the antioxidant content --- Avoid dairy --- Soy actually helped me a lot, but that may not be the case with everyone. --- Because I have asthma, when I get colds what I need regularly when I'm sick is eucalyptus. I personally add a drop to herbal tea with lots of licorice root. I have licorice root year round, too, just for throat care. I have since incorporated lobelia (sparsely) and hemp seeds into my diet, and currently I live in a small mountain town where my biggest problem is pollen and the rabbits I raise.

My family got the virus before they were testing for it in 2020, but we lost taste and smell, so we know what it was. I have an autoimmune disease and developed pneumonia from the virus for 3 weeks. My husband and son thought it was a mild cold and it was gone in 3 days for them. A year later I still had bronchitis like symptoms and ended up having a CT scan... they found lung "cysts" or air pockets in the lungs that are not supposed to be there. The pulmonary specialist said it will be a decade or longer before they find all the effects of the virus. He can't tell if I've had them forever or got them from the virus, but since I had no symptoms before and have never been the same since, I don't need a doctor to tell me it was from the virus. If symptoms don't go away regardless of what you try, get the doctor to do a CT scan.
