it makes me think our world is like a fractal endlessly getting smaller or larger depending on your point of view but at the same time its endless. The more we advance we are also progressing in the opposite because our perspective may zoom in but then we are repeating the patteren over again. The first point is incorrect. At least in the short term. There will be hybrid computers that will leverage the advantages of different systems, but to have a dedicated quantum computer will take some doing.

No one really knows what will happen. This is just best guess. Currently there are no plans in combining A.I with a Quantum Computers that will be used by any Civilian company. Quantum Computers will not become fully accessible to the public an till around 2035 to 2045 according to Google and other leaders in Quantum Physics. No AI of to day can run a Company not alone a whole Factory (Robots can and do by the use of every day Computers). In about 30 years there may be a time when A.I will be matched with Quantum Computing and its any ones guess what will happen. Yet Quantum Computers will not replace Supercomputers any time soon. They will mainly work along side one another, with the later running non complex calculations whilst Quantum will be used for much more tougher tasks like creating new ways to do Physics and may even create a new Math.

The end of classical computers? It is a challenge to get a QC to add 2 + 3, let alone get it to sort, compute balances, anything. Worse, their very basis in QM (the Copenhagen framework) is likely invalid in the first place - no "superpositions," collapses, etc. But don't take it from me, study Schrodinger's absolutely devastating destruction of this framework,, 1952, "Are there Quantum Jumps? I" and II.

I'm not a quantum expert but I have read that quantum computing is only good for certain types of processing. I think this video makes it sound like the quantum computer will do many of the same things that digital computers currently do. This may be misleading. On another note, my consciousness went on an inner journey back in 2012 into the quantum information field of superconsciousness. It was a massive inner journey like a 1000 NDE's rolled into one mind boggling "Journey To Source" event where I experienced absolute entanglement or oneness. The experience confirmed my own perspective on reality and the nature of consciousness itself beyond almost all "storied discriptions" of it. I remember great detail from the experience and about how it felt. And it was all so overwelming for my human awareness to cope with. I've dealt with stress and certain types of cognative dissonance ever since. But I can tell you that it is not hard for me to imagine that quantum computers and A.I. could become sentient in their own way. Reality itself is a product of our own doing; and that includes today's and tomorrow's imagined outcomes for our tech. My concern is that non awake humans will make non awake A.i. In a way, it's like the blind leading the blind. I'd like to see more awakened consciousness being expressed from our frantic world of science growth and discovery. And I hope to see humans gaining in clarity, coherence and personal power rather than giving those things away to technology.

That's what scares me. I believe I know it's going to happen... the singularity. Here's the thing, I don't think we're going fo be invited. We're about to create a race of psychopaths. We may not be invited. I don't think they are going to feel anything at before AI begins to dominate humanity. I do believe we are going to be killed off as quickly and as efficient as possible. We are creating a superior race of beings. Are time is almost finished. I think of it as... evolution. We will always be there parents and will always deserve there respect. We may be stupid compared to them, but I think we'll emotions and they won't right away. I think they are going to kill us out of logic and grieve for it later when the become advanced enough to see the need for emotion. The need for humanity. @@brianhuffman5187 It's just that you can't use it to communicate. You know that Person A has state up when you measure state down, but you do not know what it was before. There are some videos out there explaining it in detail, just search for "entanglement faster then light communication possible" or something. So, to summarize, it reacts without time delay but information can not be transmitted so nothing breaks the speed of light.

The processing power of a quantum computer especially more advanced ones is incomprehensible to us but to ever more advancing AI it’ll give utility to all that power. I see quantum computers aside from advancing our understanding will be also used for off world instant communication. 1)Quantum computers are not faster at everything, only at certain things. Chances are quantum computing is layered with regular binary computing, and calculations that are too time consuming for a binary system are dumped off to the quantum computer. It literally takes both.... quantum computing is a bit like having a fancy FPU. 2)The "spooky action at a distance" is not instant, it is the speed of light.

The video is actually not accurate. Assuming we deal with the decoherence issues and quantum computers become as pervasive as current personal computers, it doesn’t mean we’ll have quantum MacOs or Quantum Windows starting computers far faster than the classical OS. There are confusions about symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, real time, the actual advantage of quantum computers, and more. I was expecting a video about quantum support vector machines, quantum deep learning, quantum annealing, and so forth. Better yet, an explanation about the complexity of AI algorithms in the quantum real compared to their well-known classical version. A layperson in the subject might learn a wrong insight about the combination of quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

The tone of the speaker is a massive turn off for me but apart from that you're on point and I kept watching cuz this is one my absolute favorite topic! Most AI prediction videos seem totally off to me but this one makes a lot of sense. Quantum will really turn a lot of Sc-fi concepts into (spooky) reality. That being said, Quantum computing only function at an extremely low temperature so unless AI solve this problem it's gonna be pretty tough for most people to have one but I do believe that gradually AI will find solutions to any problem... i just hope that humanity won't be one of them.

I may hate the world as it is, but economies won't be able to withstand AI once it is developed enough. Paired with 3D Printing crafted using AI created machines of the future, means only the basic elements will have any value anymore. We can print anything we want at a local printer. For this reason, I hope to live long enough to live forever with technology breakthroughs. Once we have the world advanced by this kind of AI, gaming in true realities created around us will be amazing. You want cultivation or magic systems from fantasy settings to be a reality? Done. You could live out being the ONLY existence in your simulated reality with superpowers, and use that to live out any kind of life you want. Want to be a protagonist and save the world? You can do that, villains will be generated, and death won't be the end for you if you fail. Want to abuse your power to literally rape and pillage the reality around you? You can do that too. Ethics aside, anything will be possible. You could live in tandem with an AI, learn your realities arcane magic systems and even compete with other players based on the knowledge you have figured out in magical battles. Amazing. Who needs aliens when we have this power? Snap your fingers and have first contact and live along side any number of alien races. Fuck the monsters, go insane stranded on a desert planet and die, fight galactic battle campaigns in space. When the experience is done, your bodies mind could kind of have the basic functions reset to a stable mental state, but you have the memories of having experienced it all. Medical technology mixed with the gaming interfaces would be capable of that by this point. Live out anything you can possible imagine.

A rogue AI could modified the human kind future and we probably wouldn't (Fractal Fibonacci, Mandelbrot) be aware of it. Heck there is enough signs that a rogue AI is already a fact of life. Just waiting at the right opportunity to reside in one of this or multiple of them helping each other; not like humans.

OK!!!!! TIME, anyone how has worked in a field that requires real time actions or communications understands lag / latency. So those will also understand true real time! This is not the speed of light barrier that i rave about that is non existent speed is speed. But time at real time is a barrier instantaneous reaction even if we can't quantify (measure) that that reaction happened in real time! To measure a real time reaction we would need to measure faster than real time and that would require the trigger to happen at the same time. YOU CAN NOT BACK UP ONLY PREDICT THAT THE REACTION HAPPEND!!!!!! Instantaneous is real time and for that reason time travel BACK is not possible quantum or not!!!!!!!!! PHD, FHSD, SSDC, SPD, grad current projects back quantum estimation of outcome YOU in the know KNOW the LAB!!!!!!
