Several of the biggest market experts have been voicing their opinions on exactly how awful they think the next downturn would be, and how far equities may have to go, as recession draws closer and inflation continues.. well above the Fed's 2% objective. I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day invt decisions being guided by a init-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using a init-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Great content as always. Getting off the never ending car payment train is one of the most powerful financial choices that a regular person can do. When you are driving down the road some people might like your car - but they really don’t care who is behind the wheel. Every month that I keep driving my paid off car is like putting $700 to $800 into my pocket that I can put towards a higher use. Do this for many years in a row and it becomes a life changing sum of money. Learn to do simple car maintenance like oil changes, and then they become low cost chores that pay off in long vehicle life. Changing oil more frequently is the cheapest way to get vehicles into the 200,000 to 300,000 mile range. Many people are trapped by payments on everything, use your savings by keeping your car beyond its payoff date and leveraging that into being debt free. It’s easy, anyone can do it and it doesn’t require any financial genius.
@StratMatt777
@StratMatt777 8 месяцев назад
Changing brake pads is relatively easy too. You were paying $800 a month for a car?! WOW!!!!!
@Thomas63r2
@Thomas63r2 8 месяцев назад
@@StratMatt777 According to industry statistics the average new car payment is now $770 for 6 years (or higher with no down payment, or for a luxury SUV or pickup). Yes, you can get lower payments - some banks offer up to ten year auto financing. I do not currently have any car payments, and I'm at a point in life where any future car purchases will be in cash outright. When I have financed cars I have purposely doubled up on payments, often paying more than $1,000 a month - so that my car would be quickly paid for in less than two years.
@StratMatt777

@@Thomas63r2 Wow, it just boggles my mind that people pay that when 10 and 15 year-old Japanese cars are 100% reliable. Marketing really works I guess...?
@Thomas63r2
@Thomas63r2 8 месяцев назад
@@StratMatt777 Car payments are just simple math: amount financed, interest rate, term. No car is 100% reliable. Toyota generally makes good cars, but they have made some clunkers like the V6's that sludged up and the Tacomas with frames that rusted out. The supply of mythical 100% reliable 10 to 15 year old Toyotas is limited. Consumer reports only tracks reliability for a few years. In the U.S. when talking about which cars are most likely to still be on the road 15 years later its usually a Chevy, Ford, or GMC pickup truck.
@StratMatt777
@StratMatt777 8 месяцев назад
@@Thomas63r2 My 16 year-old Toyota Corolla is 100% reliable. No problems. None. But I've taken care of it since I got it at 55,000 miles and it only has 130,000. Of course you could not find a car of this quality on a lot because a person like me would never ever part with it. So, yes, it is outrageously limited/not available for any price. Toyotas are known to go 200,000 or 300,000+ miles. Hondas are good too. Nissan was great until they started installing CVTs 11 to 14 years ago (?)... that was their downfall. The U.S. does make bullet proof trucks.

@missreynolds3637

Yep only buying what you have to have to survive it doesn't matter what the hoopty looks like as long as it gets you from point A to point B and the grocery store. We try to purchase almost all of the food we eat, and put up, around sales each week. End up spending less and having more in the long run, not having to buy that item for awhile. Best way to do that is build up staples in your pantry, to go or use with sale items to make meals with. By staples I mean seasonings, condiments you use, broth, oil, butter, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pepper, then the cheaper staples (if you like them or use them) such as beans, rice, and pastas. After you have those things built up concentrate on sale items each week and meal plan or put up extra to eat later. It helps with the grocery bill in the long run. Making meals that stretch is another good way to stretch or save dollars as well.

My wife and I are 70 and we got to the point where we have zero debt. Our house is also fully paid for. We also moved to an area where the real estate taxes are absurdly low as are our car tabs. Because we're on social security and a very small pension, we pay no income tax, state or federal. The biggest risk financially is the federal government doing some major cut back on social security payments to those that are receive it. But in my humble opinion, if they ever actually do that, that will be the least of our problems. So I don't worry about it. Regarding the risk to my children and my grandchildren, I look at it this way: every generation has its own cross to bear. By the way, we are what credit card companies called deadbeats. That is, we use our credit cards to buy almost everything but then pay them off in full every month. That brings lots of benefits.

This worked out great for me. I kick myself for not buying more NorCal property over the years. Zillow says my house is now worth 13.2 times what I paid for it, like I care. I've been doing what you are mentioning here in this video. I have zero debit. I Saved and Invested my money over the years. I pay my CC off monthly, Paid cash for our home and two cars I own. I also use cash as much as I can. I only use my CC when I purchase a high ticket item and when the statement comes in I pay it off in full. Last I Took early retirement at 55.

You may understand business but you don't understand the basis of the money you touch everyday. That is just sad. We live in a credit based economy and the sooner people understand it, the better they are prepared to function in this economy. The level of government debt changes nothing relative to how the economy functions.
@nicklebuck

So the amount of government debt has nothing to do with inflation and the eroding wealth of the working class? I paid cash for everything I own (car, 10 acre homestead, solar power, well). Sure feels good to be free from the oligarchs controled demolition of the working class. But hey, keep playing their game, maybe you can be one of the haves and not a have not when the rug gets pulled.

U.S., Currency . Gov . -- " One half to two thirds of all U.S., Currency is circulated outside of the U.S., National Borders ." What does " Global Currency System " mean ? It means commodities such as Crude Oil is purchased using U.S., Dollars for all Nations that purchase Oil . In order for All Nations to make purchases in U.S., Dollars they actually NEED To have U.S., Dollars . What does this mean for U.S., Citizens ? It means that all U.S., Citizens can only obtain up to one third of the U.S., Currency inside the U.S., Borders . The only amount of Wealth for U.S., Citizens is either to leave the U.S., and seek a ' Living ' in any Foreign Nation or compete for the U.S., Currency within the borders of the U.S., only up to an amount of 1/3rd of all U.S., Dollars . The U.S., has to ' Give ' U.S., Dollars to all other Nations for those Nations to have ' Purchasing Power ' . 2/3rds of all U.S., Wealth Capabilities lies in the hands of Foreign Nations . No matter how hard you work or how much money that you earn in the U.S., 338 million Americans are all ' earning ' from the same 1/3rd values system . Nations that border the U.S., have " Immigrants " inside the U.S., who obtain that same 1/3rd values and then send sizable portions of their incomes to their " Home Nations " ( in particular Mexico ) . You may also wish to look into the U.N.'s Agenda 21 . In particular in what it says as to " Private Property " . -- Private Property Ownership is Social Injustice . National Sovereignty is Social Injustice . You might mean well Jerry Pinkas but the scheduled collapse is supposed to be on track , You can't have a 2030 Agenda knowing that it's currently 2024 , 6 years left .

After paying 200% over minimum payments on my AMEX accounts, was charged with interest FEE. When I did not FALL FOR a loan offer, the problems began. I have PAID off both AMEX accounts and will CLOSE account within 30days. Shameful to offer loan TRAPS that will end with 25%+ interest fees after a given period of time.

Why is America going bankrupt? Trillions of dollars are syphoned off by military and intelligence agencies for various projects and operations; billions of dollars that should be going to the Treasury from corporations and individuals are going to offshore banks and "corporate" headquarters in places like Ireland; interest should be highly regulated by the government; the top 10% of Americans own 70% of the wealth. Social security should be funded by every single American regardless of the amount of income with no caps.

It is impossible for the USA Government to go broke...what will happen then? The end of the world? Any entity that can create it's own (new) money simply cannot go out of business. Of course, the balancing act is USA economic growth, jobs, inflation, debt, etc. That is where the Admin (fiscal policy) and the Fed (monetary policy) work together to manage the business of the USA.
