Japanese speaker here: It's basically saying u gotta put in the ETC card (card to pay to use the motorway, means u dont have to stop at the gates) and that the map does not extend past the area that u are in... so it just shows an arbitrary spot

I have the JZX90 Mark 2 tourer V version with the R154 5spd transmission, only mod is the HKS exhaust that came on the car. Also have a S13 vert(auto), a RHD Zenki S14(5 Spd), & the daily is a 2022 Mazda CX5 turbo. If you are ever in the Seattle WA area let me know & you can check out my collection.

You are riot, they are a joy. I sold my 911 and kept the jzx. I'd suggest you get the geometry setup, I use mine for track days and back road fun. With a more aggressive geo set up they feel great and agile. Regarding power if it's just a piggy back and boost up to 1bar we got 287whp at 1bar running bigger injectors, fuel pump and a link ecu.

Dude, it was super cute with your daughter in the car! I have a chaser of my own and a little man but it's missing mounting points for the baby seat on the top strap. Did this car have them or did you improvise? Thanks!

Haha thanks!! From everything that I've read over the years, the safest way to mount a child seat in a car is to use the seat belt. Even for a rear facing seat. Just follow the instructions for mounting via seat belt, tighten the crap out of it, make sure it doesn't wiggle around, and you should be good.

@@HelloRoad thanks for the reply mate! I guess the US has less stricter laws than Aus because over here they require a top mounted fitting to hook into an anchor point that's independent and completely separate from the seat belt 😅

No Chaser wagon. If you want a 1JZ-GTE VVTi-equipped estate from the factory, your best bet would be either the JZS171 Crown Athlete V Estate or a JZX110W Mark II Blit.

There was a jzx110 mark ii which looks miles better than the verossa, arguably the most corolla looking one out there, plus the top trim still comes with a manual turbo JZ.

For that price ISF is much more reasonable. Man it is crazy I’m from Russia currently living in the US, these cars were extremely popular back in Russia cos that was the best bang for buck deal. People in the US don’t even know much about these cars but seeing these prices is just sad. Any of Mark 2 based MT sedans going for 25k+. Crazyyy!

Really depends! If it’s an R grade (repaired) or not, if it’s a Tourer V or not, if it has a manual or not, modified or not, how many KM on the odometer. I am certainly not an expert on JZX100 prices but my guess is you could pay anywhere from USD $10k-$30k-ish to import one

These cars are the very definition of blind pop culture. They were considered fodder for their motors back in the early 2000s, infact I bought a JZX100 motor for cheap to put into my Z20 Soarer (and had to throw away the worthless front oil sump of the time for a rear one). They're basically a wannabe BMW E39.

5:20 I love the disclaimer on screen that reads the " _Mk IV_ " Supra was powered by the 2jz" as he describes the Chaser as sometimes being known as a "4door Supra" of its time with its 1jz, because if he DIDN'T clear that up, an endless number of clueless fanboys would shut down the interwebs waiting thier turn to correct him. 😁
