I think RU-vid is actually destroying Etsy stores. There are so many videos on how to make things to sell and what you need to sell. It’s saturated the market. For example, I have a sticker shop. Figured out how to make and design them myself. Then other shops start RU-vid channels on what you need and where to get it to open a shop. As well as how to make digital ones to sell. Etsy promotes digital items first since they are low price and there is no shipping issues. They also promote new sellers too. I was looking for a tumbler the other day and it was just pages and pages of wraps for them that can be downloaded. I just gave up. Not to mention print on demand is hurting Etsy too. So many people are doing that. My shop is taking a beating this year. I used to pull in a couple thousand a a month. Now I’m lucky if I do a couple hundred. Traffic went from averaging 700 visitors a day to 50. Not sure why people want to hurt their business by creating competition for the sake of having a youtube channel. I can’t see the payout being more than the revenue lost from their store.

I’m adding new bracelets pretty often. I want to try to add tshirts and cups with transfers I’ve gotten from you but my shop’s views are pretty bad right now. I’m trying to start adding videos and such in my listings as well on social media.

my competitors are stealing art from others and slapping them onto mouse pads and making shit ton of money with it. i reported the stolen designs on etsy and they dont care so good luck with that
