I've got an Israeli MkVII .44 that I bought from the original owner. It had a 2X Nikon scope on it. I shot three groups at 25 yards which were about an inch. Then I took it to 100 yards and shot one group. It was about 4" but 4 of the rounds were in 1.5". That's pretty good, especially if I could get rid of the flyer. I need to take that pistol out again.
The point of impact on those is 200 meaters I have both 44 mag and 50ae had to wait for both of them to be made and sent paid for before I got the guns
I like the .50AE brush steel cause it’s more practical but love the look of the .44! It’s just that you’d be cautious taking it out shooting. You have to baby it too much thus more of a show piece. Thanks DOF! Have a great weekend brother!
One of VERY few handguns i can hit my 100yd 12 inch target repeatedly with when standing. Such a great gun........also they arent actually gold plated, its Titanium Nitride that looks like gold done for Magnum Research and IWI by a 3rd party, real 24k gold plating would flake off SUPER SUPER fast and never hold up to a round being shot without blowing chunks off
Nice to see you showing all metal non glock pistols again Paul. Ive been of your collection for the past decade. To this day I still rewatch tour HK Family video. I just love my USP 40 compact...thanks to you. With all the new guns out there, I still feel the USP compact is still very relevant. I feel an IWI DE 50 would go nicely with my pair of Jerichos
I’m getting a Desert Eagle when I turn 21 in a little over a year. Can’t wait. However I feel like if you are going to get into a Desert Eagle, you shouldn’t buy into the myths. Great video! 👍
I don't think factory standard Glocks would be considered the gold standard for accuracy in handguns by very many people so probably not the best comparison for accuracy sake. Anything I have heard about polygonal rifling is that it is easier to clean but not inherently more accurate than traditional rifling. The quality of the rifling job typically has more to do with accuracy than the type of rifling. These being a "premium" pistol in terms of price and quality probably has as much to do with accuracy as the features. That being said the fixed barrel and front sight probably give it a leg up over other designs and if it has a good trigger that would help as well. I don't think the rifle style gas system lends anything to accuracy either but the sight radius is probably longer on these than most other pistols you have shot and that can make a big difference making accurate shots.
Have you ever shot or owned an hk Mark 23? That's a big and very accurate handgun My shooting buddy has one Might be my next purchase if I can hide that amount from the ol' battle axe
Are these honestly reliable though? Everything I've read about their reliability over the years says otherwise. Edit: this video will eventually have millions of views, due to the thumbnail lol
Jordan The only caliber I can speak about in these is the .50 AE and it honestly ran great for me, see my “drive by shooting with a Desert Eagle” video where I shoot a 50 one handed with my arm bent and not stable and unload the whole mag no problem..
ive had 6 and the oinly way theyre unreliable is if you use weak loads, and or lead unplated bullets, or limp wrist the HELL out of one(luger and glock are limp wrist prone too though)
In my experience the 50ae eagle is more accurate then smith and Wesson revolvers. The 50ae has always been oiled with Walmart hopps9 elite oil an bore cleaner never jammed in over 2100rd count. the piston broke at 713rd count and 1797rd count 30 dollar part. The eagle 50ae is so fun to shoot an smooth, the 44mag 6in S&W has twice the felt recoil.
idk why it breaks ,magnum research has no answer But its always at the top part off the piston that snaps in two clean break.its thinner and a major weak spot. but im willing to bank that magnum research knew this an wasn't worried about jackasses like me that would actually shoot that many rounds. no one on utube has as far as I know so its hidden knowledge @@humans4targets2
I've put 1200 rounds through my .44 Mark VII Desert Eagle in 2 months and I haven't had any problems with the Piston like that. I suspect the piston would break like that if it was wobbling during firing and not going into the gas hole straight when going into battery.
