Hey Brian, in my early 20's I had a 16 foot camper that was basically my little get away. I paid $100 dollars for it. It had a small bed in the back, a dinette up front, and a little kitchenette. It didn't require ANY power. Propane lighting even. I can't tell you the amount of fun we had at deer camp playing cards crammed into that little dinette and just having my own place. I have a 38 foot Grand Design that weighs 11,500 pounds and it stays on a seasonal site. It's beautiful, but I miss the simplicity of a small towable, something cozy about them that doesn't compare to the big units. That's a nice unit looks like it'll make lots of great memories for your family.
Thanks for the input! Makes my decision on goi g for a smaller camper even better! I didn’t want it to feel like “work”, but I sure would t mind having a couple of nights in a gorgeous Grand Design 5th wheel😂👍🏻
Wow that is an awesome rig brother! Perfect for the family! I can’t wait to see the maiden voyage with the family! That is going to be an awesome looking setup being pulled by the newF150! You can tell the original owners took care of the trailer.
Nice purchase!! I had a 2016 Wolf pup 16bhs. No slide, but it was a bunkhouse with the dinette and all that. I miss that thing!! You’re going to love that.
Camper looks great ! It's about the same size as the one I have, although mine is not BH, and I have modded mine to suit me and my dog. Your kids are going to love the experience. Have fun !
That is really nice. It was well cared for and seems to suit your family perfectly. The upgrades the previous owner got were fantastic! I'm looking forward to your glamping adventures. 😄
The Jayco for the family and your truck topper camper setup as guest quarters...perfect!! We used to own a 2019 Jayco JayFlight 175RD. It was a great camper! Our only complaint was the bed orientation. The "East-West" orientation is not fun for the inside person who receives a nocturnal rest room call. If Jayco had built a JayFlight 195RD (with a North-South bed orientation), we would have bought one in a heartbeat. Enjoy your new camper!!
@@BrianWatersOutdoors The trick to making the bed is to slide the mattress about a foot or 2 away from the inside wall, get up onto the mattress and put both inboard fitted sheet corners on the mattress (and that edge of the top sheet if using one and want that side tucked in) and then slide the mattress back into place.
FYI Randy here not Deb ,lol Very nice love the lay out of this camper. All you need to to do is add what you like sit back and enjoy make a mixer of choice enjoy family time together ❤ …..psssss hey brother I don’t always get the chance get on during your shared videos but please remember me during your free giveaways!!!!😂 love ya bro keep up the good work ✌🏻
You are spot on. Thumbs up 👍. Keep a lock on the 💩 box. The seller did some good upgrades! Can you keep it at the house for a few days or a week? You should have a great time. Congratulations 🍾
That is a very nice RV you have there in Texas. Take good care of it and I’ll be waiting for your videos to come. #JaycoJayFlight184BajaBunkhouse #BrianWatersOutdoors
What a nice little trailer! We started out with a small travel trailer but for full time we decided on a truck camper! Love the high clearance on your trailer.... Very nice floor plan as well! Wishing you many fun adventures and wonderful family memories!! 💙Terry and Terri
Brian, I have the 2022 174BH version. You will enjoy this camper. I also had the upgrades of the a/c, fan and power tongue jack. I will email you some one year owner suggestions. Imhope it gives you many years of family memories!
Congrats! I had one very similar when my boys where young. Perfect size. Keep that thing covered if you can - they leak pretty quickly if left outside.
Hi Brian, congratulations on your new RV. I am so excited to go on the first trip. I know it will be somewhere lovely. Don't leave without me. See you soon.
Hi Brian . The new truck camper so cool. I've left you a comment on your previous build some 7 months ago . I like the way you got it all set it up. Btw I'm planning a trip to the Moon so the telescope would be handy lol :D j/k . All the best !
Its about the size of my Springdale 1750RD. Very nice and easy towing! Have fun and I'll look for the first video using it! You have to name it too. Mines Eneida, because since I bought it I kept saying to the wife I need to go buy this for the camper or I need to go buy that! 🤣
Thats a perfect setup for your family Brian ! Having 2 children those bunks are ideal ! I look forward to seeing you come over to Lake Claiborne near Homer, LA I dont know if you have ever been there, but its a beautiful lake .
Sweet! Good size, not too big, not too small. Still enough room to hang out in during funky weather. Cool! And prewired with solar! Yup, that’s a win! #brianwatersoutdoors
