I appreciate you pointing out that "It's all about the tires". I couldn't agree more. On roads with ice or a few inches of snow, the tires are going to make a lot more difference than the type of 4WD or AWD that you have. Of course, you were too modest to point out that the driver's skill also makes a huge difference.

Most certainly a capable truck! My 04' Ranger is the complete opposite. Open differentials, and no electronic nannies to prevent you from sliding everywhere. I have had plenty of white knuckle experiences in my truck. I take my time driving during the winter in it, as it is easy to lose control. Once you do lose control, you are just along for the ride. I do have sandbags in the bed to help weigh the truck down, which helps somewhat.

That was super impressive. For something that big and with that much power it was like driving a Subaru or something much smaller with AWD. Can't wait to see the off-road review!

In my opinion, 95% of the sold Ram will never make it to the battlefield, but it's good to know that this car has such skills.

Absolutely love this truck! How can you resist a blown Hemi, all the latest truck tech goodies, Dodge/RAM has pretty solid drivetrains (occasional tranny issues over the years), currently the best interiors in the business, and great styling to my eyes. Love the truck wars and can't wait to see how Ford answers (760 hp anyone?). GM could do something, but I just don't trust them anymore. I'd love to see Toyota do a high-output V8, but I think they're a few years from that. I hope they don't stop at a twin turbo V6 hybrid. Numbers on paper would be excellent, but it would miss that visceral V8 roar. That said, if they can share a big HP V8 with Lexus, it just might happen. Optimistic thinking I know. Whatever happens, it's great for us truck buyers! Lots of extremely capable choices across the board.

Was ABS disabled when it was in Baja mode? It would make sense for if you are in sand, but going off the tires locking up, probably not the best for snow. But then, thats why there is snow mode.

So I know the hellcat challenger and charger has 2 different keys 1 key limits the car to only 400-500 hp and the other key let's the whole 700 horses out is that the same for this truck?

i just crunched some numbers and figured out i could take a basic ram truck and build it to be like that for half the money although the TRX is very impressive still
