I remember hearing about how all of my grandparents, kinfolk and neighbors who grew up in the 1920's here in Oklahoma and what they ate to survive on, most of them had farms and ranches with gardens, crops and livestock to feed them if they couldn't afford to go to the stores for groceries, thanks for the delicious memories.🇺🇲 😋🍅🍎🍉🥕😋

The first things that comes to my mind about the 1920s is the Prohibition and the gangsters.

The cow tongue is the best beef. It was cheap but now it's expensive because people found out how good it is!

Shrubs are ok, but you can always taste the vinegar.....however both raspberry vinegar or blackberry vinegar make really nice soothing shrubs when you have a cold or sore throat, especially if you make them with hot water instead of ice.

What happened to the photos? I thought that this was about the 1920's yes, the food was from the 20's but very few of the pictures were. I am sure that the internet has more pictures of the food in the 1920's than you showed.
