That's so good to hear! Thanks for sharing. I used to feel like I had some weird obligation to play it every week. Idk if it was to make content or to meet unrealistic expectations I thought my friends had. (they had no expectations, by the way, I just made it up in my head). Giving Siege up has honestly freed up so much time for other things and other games. If something is taking over your life that isn't important, the best thing you can try is to just drop it!

@@sir_smile2353 I think I've often felt connected to a hobby or a habit, and the thought of removing it didn't make sense. I think it felt impossible because I've let it become a part of who I was, which is crazy because I was totally fine before I ever found Siege! For example, I gave up video games for the month of March and ended up missing it, but also enjoying other hobbies and spending more time with my wife and other people. It's worth giving it a go, I'm glad you gave it up! At least for a time. RE: Hunt. We have a bunch of people who play!

For me, the pandemic moved all of my friendships online, save a few close friends. It's been a weird transition, but I've tried to make strides to keep those relationships going without just using games as the primary means of contact. You might try just calling them up or suggesting a different game. Giving up Siege was such a good choice for me. It won't be for everyone, but it made a lot of sense.

@@ChrimChrimbo I'm on console. East coast. Maybe it's like Dead by Daylight as far as wait times. In that game I sometimes wait ten or more minutes others I wait less then one minute. But the game looks interesting. I got the Gold Edition on sale.

I'd agree that around 1k hours you'll decide to stick or swim. I think the next season patch will change the game up enough to fix a ton of problems with it, but idk, it's just not enough for me to come back. I never agreed with the sentiment that we needed more new maps, but fresh content keeps people playing. The problem is that there are already enough little issues that even fresh content won't keep engaging the player base. I'm curious to see how 2021 treats Siege, but my gamble is: not well.

@@ChrimChrimbo the thing i also cant stand (and im probably unique in this) is that the meta is super stale, nearly all the viable operators (im looking at you jaeger lesion vigil ash and zofia) are mandatory picks, and the attackers have to push through all kinds of fire and forget gadgets, while all the attackers have gadgets that are instantly lost apon death, and you could say "oh then just move in as a 5 stack from one enterance" but thats not how the game works, if 1 defender holds an angle on your 5 stack, you cant push unless lucky. and ofcourse, the new printed operators rarely bring something new or interesting to the table, its always something we already have but recoloured, the last "fun" operator for me that was added was zero, due to us never having a valk on attack. i personally really hope they introduce the flashbang rework as that is my only hope for attackers to have a fair chance right now.
