I am North Indian, the Bollywood film industry is a complete disaster. All of the series focus on sex, homosexuality, western locations, speaking Hindi/English mix...the historical movies were more connected to the culture. Bollywood deserves to collapse.

@@Radhiga that has nothing to do with historicity. Current day Tamil has many English and Sanskrit words. Of course you might have alternate words from Dravidian origin that doesn't mean that the existing vocabulary is wrong.

This is the difference..in Bollywood they make movies like War, Pathan, Race ..which is purely westernised.... whereas...in south industry..bahubali, RRR ,KGF, Kantara, KALKI....which is based on our culture... Why will people will watch Westerned style movies when they already watched holywood movies .... I think if Hindi is even Indian language. Which state has its own language or mother tongue as hindi. Even Dilli,its Harayanvi . I hvent seen nyone saying hindi as their mother tongue as evdn in North,its either bhojpuri or gujarati or sme other language but nvr hindi. Hindi is exactly like Urdu. I sometimes feel its the language brought by Moghuls n not native to India. Why should we give Hindi so much importance when its not even Native to India? I am not sure if it is..

Yeah I know that the Malayalam industry has given content driven stories which are grounded, simple and they will stick to the screenplay without deviating. Malayalam actors are natural actors.....yes we do accept. In my earlier days i thought the Malayalam industry only produces mallu hot movies which are B grade c grade movies because of my ignorance and being not exposed to your industry. Thanks to premam, Bangalore days and special thanks to COVID-19. But don't underestimate our industry. we will rule the indian film industry by leaping to a bigger scale day by day. we have a bigger market now, than the Tamil industry and always had a wider market than the Malayalam industry in Terms of collections.

Its hilarious that she is complaining abt "westernisation" . .US cinema has AMAZING focus on gender equality.Solid lead Roles are SOLIDLY WRITTEN for women of ANY AGE. There is tremendous focus on WOMEN CENTRIC films and focus on DARK SKINNED actors too .HERE WE HAVE FAIRNESS CREAMS which were OPENLY SOLD BY HUL AND PROCTER AND GAMBLE .Independent cinema IN THE US is SOLID and focused on gender equality . .Book adaptations are SOLID.
