Gosh I just big chopped my hair yesterday….and sis……it felt good….I’ve been going through a new season and the Lord told me to “let it go” from my troubles to my damaged hair I cut it all off to rock a twa You look beautiful ❤

Your hair is beautiful. You look great! I have done a second big chop on my journey also. It can be frustrating. However, I LOVE my hair and doing a second big chop was the best thing for my hair (didnt get regular trims resulting in severely split ends). You have a full head of beautiful hair. I encourage you to enjoy this second journey, and give your hair all the care and love she deserves.

I understand you know your own hair and texture but it didn't look bad at all to me. The hair you cut off looked texturized as apposed to your natural hair. I would have trimmed it, continually deep conditioned, used a curl bonding system, and put a protective style in. I've done that myself a couple of times in the past.
