Peter has genuine fun at all his concerts dating way back to the 1960's, it's a testament to him as an entertainer and a wonderful person. Yes Peter, nice guys do finish 1st! 🏆
Gosh, brings back memories of a great time, especially musically! Peter sounds just as good now as he did back then! A very happy 71 year old who now feels a teenager again listening to this.
He is as adorable now as he was in 1964. I’ve gotten to see him several times in the past 10 years. And he puts everything into his performance. I think he’s having more fun than all of us in the seats are! What a great fella!! And sounds amazing.
Like others, thanks Peter Noone for inspirin' my 75-yrs for many more, as others are more or less sayin'. What a unique era in so many, many ways - lucky us!
It's funny how music can take you back... I was a teen when they were popular and in love. This really makes my heart happy. I thought Peter Noone was so nice looking, I was in love with his songs.
Thank you for sharing this performance! Like what Micky Dolenz is doing (and may it continue), but so appreciate Herman's Hermits Peter Noone's rendition here of "Daydream Believer." David Jones, dear Davy, loved his opportunities to perform at Epcot, always an appreciative multigenerational crowd. Nice to see.
This is real genuine music of the people. To bad today’s music doesn’t have the same soul !in Croatia and Bosnia there are still some musicians making people music !
I loved them when I was only six-years old. One of the first bands that I ever really thought was great along with The Beatles. I'm heading toward 64 and I'm happy to see and hear this. Peter still has his boyish charisma and can still sing very well at an age not all of our past greats can. Thanks, this brings back fantastic memories from a care-free time in life.
Thank you so much! That was absolutely amazing! Peter was obviously having a ball and full of energy at seventy-five years old! What a diverse repertoire too! 👍
Well,I'm a 64 year old musician,so people like this are an inspiration.Even more so,here in Minnesota,at Mystic Lake casino recently,Frankie Valli performed,at age 88.Still looking & sounding good.Great weather here lately, which doesn't happen very often,so I've been out walking, but, that said,if God is willing,I'll be playing guitar and singing for the rest of my life.
My next-door neighbor, who was several years older than I, saw them there that Summer. She, like I and my childhood friend, Debbie, were huge fans, and we were so jealous that she got to go but we couldn't. When she got home, we "interrogated" her about EVERYTHING that she witnessed. Fun, sweet memories. Got to see him when he was part of The Happy Together tour back in 2012, and was fortunate enough to meet him afterwards. Can attest to that fact that he is STILL the cutest, nicest, most talented, most appreciative of his fans "gentleman".
Good Stuff!! I was born in 1960 and remember the music of that era with a lot of fondness. It wasn't just the hard stuff that was good, but the softer Pop music was very nice, too. 🙂❤💘💋
I remember in 1966 going to the movie theater to see their movie hold on. For those of you that don't have the best of Herman's hermits the 50th anniversary anthology, get it. The sound quality on this double-disc is mind boggling. I've been to so many Peter noone shows and every one of them have been an A + 10/10. If you get a chance you got to go see Peter.
I was his Guest Service Guy at the CLIFT HOTEL in SF, He walked up to me and spoke with me like a brother he is one COOL GUY , GOD Bless ,, In the 90 s...
Peter's the best....you walk out of their concerts with a smile on your face, and humming all their songs....if you've never seem him...be sure you see him when he comes your way...
Wow! Thank you so much for posting this. I loved Herman's Hermits and still have their first LP. This is the clearest video I have ever seen on youtube of a concert. Love this!
I met Peter through a friend in the mid 90's, just a great guy that didn't know he was Peter Nune of Herman's Hermits to me. He asked my favorite song, I told him Mrs. Brown and he said it wasn't his. I then told him I heard about the band from my father as he listened to the band. He then said, I don't think I'm that old. Thanks for posting this.
Thank you so much for streaming this. They have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I wish I could have been thete. Thank you again, much appreciated.
We've been to 3 of his concerts in the past 7-8 years. They were about 90 minutes long and were non-stop fun from beginning to end. All the hits, impressions, more songs, more fun. Rousing audience participation. This audience doesn't seem to be into it... perhaps it's the compact show or they're worn out from EPCOT. I would put his show in my personal "Top 5"... and we've been to dozens.
@@steveludwig4200 Trust me... the audience was filled with "old guys" The 90 minute concerts were at "The Villages." It was a "TIGHT" show... no lags... no filler.
Saw the original band probably 40 years ago supporting Tom Jones in Sydney, Australia. Tom had a rock band in those days. Peter Noone's voice sounds pretty much the same. Great little concert!
Tom Jones was so fantastic. When I graduated from high school, I could not think of what I wanted for a graduation gift. Good fortune came when Tom gave a concert in Memphis. Oh my, my>>He was something else in so many ways.
