DOWNLOAD SHEETMUSIC: hermanbeeftink... Fantasia for Flute Solo - "Flamenco" Music by Herman Beeftink (BMI) Flute performed by Rama Kumaran Publishing Elite Source Music (BMI)
I just learned the piano solo versions of Spring and Summer, and played Spring for my studio recital. Next is Autumn and Winter. Then I'll tackle this. Can't wait 😍😍😍
I’m a trumpet but I can appreciate a good flute, y’all are underrated as hell 😔 Edit: 2yr update but I’m happy to let everyone know that I’ve moved from only playing trumpet to the piano and the French horn! I’ve also begun to learn the flute on the side to fulfill my love for woodwind instruments, though trumpet will be my first love, the art of music is something I’m very passionate about and currently learning flute has been a wonderful (and difficult lol) experience :) ❤️
@@ReiTheMarshmellow69 my best friend plays piccolo for marching band! One of my favorite pieces she’s played on her piccolo is concerning hobbits (she has also played it on her flute but I enjoy it on the piccolo more) I don’t find piccolo’s annoying at all in fact I prefer a nice high pitched sound rather than low, though I could never discredit the lovely sounds of lower instruments :)
@@DameMitHermelin I know it's called pizzicato on the violin, when you pluck the strings. I thought here it would be called staccato, but then, I'm a pianist, primarily. Have been out of the flute world for a bit.
Very impressive. I’d call it more of a double tonguing technique. I can barley even double tongue myself. I manage to do it in some cases without trying to but this will definitely be a hard spot to learn. If I don’t get it by my performance I’ll probably slur it, so it’s not a mess 😅
@@DameMitHermelin You're absolutely right. Please excuse my lack of appropriate flute vocabulary on this comment, I'm just a pianist who doesn't really know a thing about flute 😂 still I can recognise when something happens thanks to extraordinary skills, so whatever you call it - be it staccato or double tonguing as the other commenters mentioned - I remain absolutely impressed and taken away by this passage especially 🤩
I’m a 16yo flutist and I have been learning this piece for about a month and it’s coming along!! I can’t wait to take it to my teacher and polish it up for upcoming competitions 🤩🤩. Thank you for writing such incredible and challenging flute pieces ❤️
I've been working on summer for almost a year after my friend introduced me to you, and I'm in love with all of your pieces. As a flute player I really appreciate the dynamics, and all the slight challenges. Thank you for continuing to give us amazing music!!!
I use to play flute, I really enjoyed it as well. What a shame how two people can really throw you down hard enough to lose all motivation in general. I’ve tried to play since but it just isn’t the same. Highschool is a real mood killer
I'm a saxophonist. So we lack alot of skillful etudes. So I use excerpts of this to practice altissimo and dynamics. Its a very good piece and I enjoy every part. Mostly the arpeggios.
I've been playing flute for about 9 months now, just got into honor band and my goal is to be able to play this by next year. I'm in awe by the piece, it's so beautiful and I just LOVE the dynamics. Can't wait to play this, if I ever make it in the music world I owe it to you. Thank you!
SO COOL! I’m going to dedicate myself this whole year to learning this piece and show everyone that the underrated last chair flutist in hs band has some talent. If I make it far in the flute world it’s all thanks to you ❤❤
@@HermanBeeftinkComposer thank you for sharing your amazing music to the world to hear! I love listening to this song on repeat everyday so it’s an honor to learn it.
I got this as a solo and ensemble piece, but composed for cello, in the 6th grade. I saw the notes and was like, "this is probably just an Adagio piece, written to look insane" *Consciously glances at tempo AH NAH HECKING HECK MAN
I play trumpet and thought I might be able to use the sheet music on here and heard all the dynamics then saw the high notes. Almost fell out the chair.
Just got this for my tri m performance. Have till May 14th to be able to play it! Truly incredible piece of music. I was looking for solo flute or piccolo without piano and this works great!
I didn't want to say it... But this is the last drop. Mr Beeftink, that fantasia is... The best music Ive ever met!!! You are my favourite composer!!!!!!!
I am first grade of music highschool. I love this fantasia so much, and I hope my tracher will let me play this one. Thank you for this amaizing music💓
That air stream! My god. Like I have just learned that, what high B? Yea that’s it. Now what you did is amazing and I can’t wait to be able to play that!!
I got to the first runs and my immediate thought was "FUCK this is so cool I wanna learn it" and then I got a bit further and realized that being able to play this is pretty far down the road for me lol
I was looking for flute pieces to get inspiration for an original character who focuses on the flute- I don't know anything about music, but this is a fucking banger. I fell in love immediately.
yeah I’ve been playing flute for 6 years and I’m much better than others my age but I still got at least a decade until I have the skill to play this lol
can someone explain what that little mustache looking thing is above the F in measure 5 lol whats that called and what are you supposed to do when you see that mark in the rest of the piece? also this is beautiful!
debo decir que es completamente asombrosa esta obra, capta lo bailable y seductor que es el flamenco en una interpretación de un solo de flauta sin la necesidad de una armonía o percusión.
Is it at all possible for you to arrange a piece for a different instrument? Namely bari sax? Your music for flute is absolutely astonishing and I would love to see what you could do for the classical saxophone!
I use excerpts of this piece to practice. All of the measures work perfectly with the saxophone (I'm pretty sure). As long as your altissimo is streamlined enough you can play the entire piece.
I'm going to play it on the clarinet. So it should work on the sax as well. In case you are not feeling comfortable with some of the altissimo passages you could transpose them down.
So beautyfull... I love your work and this music is way to hard for me I can one day performe it hopefully :). I am now a flute player for 3 years, and I love my instrument. Keep up the good work I love it, greats from the Netherlands
absolutely not. I've been playing flute for almost 4 years now- why can't I do those scale-like 16th notes- so fast ;--; but I've played songs faster than that- w h a t
Very good piece, but I'll say I think you should have went more aggressive with the dynamic contrasts in the sheet music and get more cresc/decresc archs. For me that's what really fills up the music in a piece for solo melodic instruments
Im not a flute/woodwind player, (i play percussion) but i can tell your composing is amazing! Im in love with the way your music conveys emotions! Im sorry if this has been asked before, but how do you come up with melodies for your music?
this has to be one of the greatest things my ears have EVER heard. Iam not familiar at all with this peice but it is rlly nice, definitely gonna try to learn
i need to save this music for in a few years for now im only 12 years old and started flute whene i was 6 (PS: im french and canadian and currently live in france.)
I haven't played my flute in a good few years after i ideally had to buy a new one due to its state deteriorating over the years. This makes me miss it and want to play again.
