Why was the leap so uncomfortable would you say? I've been thinking about getting one. But the only issue I have is that most high end expensive chairs are mesh which in winter I don't really want and I don't ever get overheated in summer either so wanted a foam or covered seat.

@@benclimo461 the backrest cushion is thicker towards the bottom and very thin towards the top. Because of this only the lower portion of my back was supported (that is to say my shoulders did not touch the backrest at all). To support my whole back i would have had to arch my back because of how aggressive the curvature is, and if i did that i'd be looking at the ceiling. the seat back is also considerably short as well: you will feel like you need a headrest at some point. I was really disappointed as I wanted to love that chair. It felt good in the showroom, It was fully loaded and had vegan leather upholstery. I just don't think it was meant to be a true task chair. The seller told me that it was previously used in conference rooms (which was why it was in pristine condition) and probably for good reason.

If you can find one, the celle has a fully upholstered version with cushions which is the one I have. Just know that it's still firm but comfortable.

@@JJJerrel Thanks for the information, really appreate it. All these chairs is just making it so confusing on which to get now. That does sound really uncomfortable and for everyone that doesn't like an agressive lumbar support this chair may not be good for them. There's currently a celle used for around £300 or could get an aeron for £400-500 just trying to see which is best now.

Hmmm there is lots of choice. Aeron is number 1. Other chairs like the Mirra, Celle, Steelcase Leap, Haworth Zody are all up there

Yes I have found the same to be a similar size to the Aeron size C, slightly smaller but if a B is too narrow for you then the celle should be a good match. The recline is about the same. I do notice that the forward tilt is more powerful on the Celle

@@modernexploration5282 I'm not able to find a refurbished Celle in the UK, and it's not possible to buy a new one as it's been discontinued.

@@StardustLegacyFighter There are plenty of used ones around, I wouldn't worry too much about buying from a private seller, the chairs are very reliable, just make sure you try all the adjustments

@@modernexploration5282 I'd prefer a new one, so that I can take advantage of the 12 year warranty. Seems like the Celle was quietly discontinued by Herman Miller, as it's not sold by them or their dealers anymore.

This chair and most ergonomic highend chairs will be best for most people. Better than a gaming chair or kitchen chair or couch.

I don't have an Aeron for sale currently. I have some steelcase Amia chairs, Herman MIller Sayl and a few others

Hmmm. Better in my opinion but it is less adjustable. I do find the chair more comfortable overall but possibly just my body shape
