I had such a crush on Mr Peter Noone and the Hermits I must have been in third grade we used to sing their songs on the school playground before the bell rang. ❤️💕😍🤩😎👍❤️
Saw Peter Noone at Foxwoods three years ago. He still looks young and in great shape; like he never ages OMG LOL. He lays on his thick English accent and he sounds great!
Peter was good friends with John Lennon. They’d go to pubs together. Peter was too young to order alcohol drinks, so Peter would order 2 cokes, while John, would order 2 glasses of rum. I just Love this story. Who didn’t try games like this......;)
I have Phyllis' Diller's Housekeeping Hints too! She signed it for me in 1967 at Topanga Plaza Mall,, Pickwick bookstore. She wrote, "Gary, you are a magnificent, thoughtful person. Love, Phyllis Diller." I always thought that was so incredible that she would rake the time to write so much with that long line of other autograph seekers behind me! Herman, do you still have your copy???
Saw Peter at the Apache Casino in Lawton Oklahoma a couple of years ago. He has a good backing band, does all the Hermits hits and a few other British invasion songs. Afterwards he stayed around and signed autographs and sold CD's and albums. Let people take pictures with him.

Gosh O' Hemlock, as Andy Hardy would say, how has it been over thirty sears since I've heard these two charmers of songs? By the equally charming Herman's Hermits. Many thanks for posting and to fellow commenters for commenting.
Merci pour ce double partage en live Personnellement je préfère Dandy mais les Herman's Hermits sont formidables J'adore leus voix Agréable à écouter et à regarder Bons chanteurs et bons musiciens

‘66? Ah, Jr High school. The time of the Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Yardbirds, The Who, The Animals, and Spencer Davis. Hermits were bubblegum but with good musicians in the studio. Like John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page. My sister sure loved them!
@@eightinches6094 let’s also not forget how great Peter was at applying his English accent. Which was actually the hook to ALL their hits. At the time of the British Invasion, young teens were really into the accents. More so than the substance of the music and lyrics. That’s where Hermits capitalized. Hermits were to Yardbirds, what the Monkees were to the Beatles. As I stated in my original post, they were fun. I’ve actually covered hermits tunes. Just for fun!
