I love that you can hear Scar get scared even though he is muted.

You know the feeling when you are done watching all (hermitcraft series only) the hermits' episodes and you get bored then after some time you get very excited when finally one hermit already decided to upload a video.

I’m starting to consider the thought that the snails have psychic powers. Two weeks ago Gem was like “Stop eating my lighthouse!” and now it’s “Isn’t she cute?” The conversation about the mountain was just delightful. I love how Scar was totally down to spend weeks destroying it all until realizing Grian would have to build the back and then giving up.

Not sure what i loved more about that scar interaction. The jumpscare where he silently jumps, and you know this man just had a heart attack before he manages to unmute. Or gem just shoving her gift into random chests in his chest monster and he can't find an inventory's worth of grass, proving once again why you need to organize your storage.

The "vibe reminder" at the end was beautiful, I have never played Dredge before so I hadn't fully realized what the aesthetic was until now!

Love how the one thing to bring Scar away from his idea of destroying Cherry Blossom Mountain is reminding him of Grian then having to build a back for his base xD

I kinda love the cluttered outcomes with people being so close. I think I prefer seeing y’all make small parts of one base instead of GIANT mega bases. And I can’t wait to see how you and grians builds blend cause it seems like you both are sort of going for a similar thing, maybe just a different time zone. Idk if it’s cause I’m watching more than one person now but this season feels so much more lively and fun. I also love watching all of you build and get inspiration and ideas.

Old port towns love their balconies and widows-watches, so if you're going for layering, some balconies and porches that overhang walkways or parts of other buildings would be v cool 💞

You could hang lanterns in between different buildings like the fishing shop and your base, or you could try to make it look like they’re drying clothes on lines in between. It would bring the buildings even more together

Etho is in literally every single hermits episode. I swear

I'm in love with this Dredge inspired aesthetic. It's somehow both Cottage Core, and terrifying -- which really is kind of Gem in a nutshell.

When Scar is actually rich for some reasons in ore.

Getting a trident as soon as the video starts is such a power move.

Usually Gem with her chat: let's design! Chat: you said all the detailing? Gem: NO, Chat! Gem right now: Fine, fine , you want details, fine!

dead corals looks like barnacles on wall and it kinda works well with the fishing and ocean vibes as well.

One thing I really love is the infrastructure! The horse tunnel is lovely, and the power lines add so much more character to this. I noticed they point in the vicinity of Tango’s steampunk base - do you think he’d be interested in collaborating for a power station? It would be cool for the electricity to connect to a source!

Starting the episode in the water fighting a drowned. This is so on brand of her character. I can already imagine a bunch of buff fisher(wo)man Gem swimming while fighting mobs!

you know how people steal gnomes and take the mon holiday, so they can return the gnome with photos of all the landmarks it visited? it'd be nice to get an album of the snails causing chaos across the server, or a compilation of them being found in peoples builds

I absolutely love the patch work design the villiage is taking on it makes it look like they have been there for a long time and making repairs with the limited resources they have

Seeing Etho & Gem Interact is one of my fav. things this season - such a great dynamic! + The colouring of the base this season is so good! Really like the vibe Gem is going for with her builds ~

I'm loving all the hermits going with "darker" moods this year. Seems really cool! One thing I always thought was neat in the last "life" series was how the sky changed to a more Grey gloomy sky when you got close to the secret keeper... I'm not sure how they did it, but depending on how "vanilla" that really was, I think it could add a lot to your base and maybe the big cyberpunk build Impulse and Bdubs are doing.

Only builders like Gem can say "this might be the most plain build I've made..." While talking about the most amazing and detailed build I've ever seen.😊

The vibe reminder at the end was incredible and epic! Can't wait to see what you _dredge_ up from the depths and dark corners!

Hearing Gem critiquing Scar's and Etho's storage literally fifteen minutes after I heard Xisuma critiquing Iskall's storage; priceless.

Lol 50% of nothin is still nothin, gem. I don't know this for sure, but I get the feeling that Etho doesn't actually wanna sell any glass.

This is a great start to my morning. I’m going to court today to testify against someone that was horrible to my siblings and I. This helps me calm down and happier, thank you so much Gem! 💞

this is the exact kind of style im going for in my world, slightly modern, but still developing. and I love the dock, and iv learned over time that having obstructed spaces and floors at different heights make everything all the more cozy.

I'm loving this new slow pace vibe that the hermits are doing. It feels more natural than the giant mega bases by ep 10 like previous seasons.

One of the best things I did this season of Hermitcraft was expand past the 1 hermit I've watched, and lord has Gem's creativity been one of my favorite discoveries this season

Wow I am absolutely bursting with excitement for the new season of Hermitcraft! The energy and creativity you bring to the server always leaves me in awe and this season is already off to an incredible start! Your house entrance is seriously next level the attention to detail is mind-blowing! Cant wait for all the hermit permits and the Lovely! shops. Youre intreactions with Etho and the other hermits are so good. Can't wait to see what else you have in store this season!!!

Can i just say, i absolutely adore the dynamic gem and etho have. Something about it is just so wholesome and also chaotic, i cant help but grin when i see them punching each other or talking about bases and builds. i love it so much ;--; ♥

Gem building like mumbo does redstone: "It is quite simple really."

22:00 Horses can climb Dripstones. So you can put Dripstone on top of one another until it gets to its tallest form, then put a block (preferably a Dripstone block) and make another tall Dripstone behind that. That way, you can have the sharpest steep road to top of the magic mountain and it wouldn't ruin landscape either. Then you can make a path on top of the mountain which connects everyone this way. Everybody have horses this season, and there is Dripstone cave under the mountain.

Grian in the mountains is great, no back of the base to worry about. Gem, if he moves out of that mountain, build a house right behind him, therefore making the back of his base seen so he has to do it

Love the episode and your builds this season. I will say that the bright greenery on some builds (moss and flowers around roof especially) contrasts slightly with the dark scary theme you’re going for, even though they look good.

Slightly torn down by the horros around you say? Me thinks we shall see eldritch beings. After all the snails have come one from the sea, and one from the stars. WAIT! Grian can talk to the sea now..... HE"S AN ELDRITCH PROPHET!!!!

You can connect the power lines to the house, like put a block on the line where it intersects and then connect it to the roof on a rod or to something on the wall

i Think that you Should Think of a Good idea for your Starter House to be! i Bet that would be cool having your starter house as a Shop or Anything like that!

Your builds always make me feel whimsy and joy. Love it so much. Glad to be tuning in to your perspective this season.

I love the attention to creating nice walking paths around your base. It's a small detail that gets overlooked by a lot of hermitcraft members, since everyone normally uses elytras all the time. Maybe it's just me, but this season actually seems like people are avoiding elytras for a lot longer than normal. Maybe it's because of how close all the hermits are because of all the collaborative bases this season. Whatever the reason, I'm loving the atmosphere and how cozy the builds are.

Seeing gem posted brings me so much giddy excitement.

Oh I LOVE the vibe reminder. I bet by the end of the season you could circle the entire mountain with those shaders and it will be Stunning. Also loving the builds and interactions as always 💛

This season is so fun! Also been a fan of hermits not focusing on having some kind of huge "mega" build. Instead they're focusing on more immersive builds and connectivity with the horses and paths. It's great!
