Intro Music seems to be super loud at the start, weird because It's not in the editing. I think the issue was more that iskall was quiet. I will adjust in next episode - my apologies!
@@oBuLLzEyEo1013happy birthday typically means Surprise, especially for traps, for example screaming happy birthday surprises someone similar to how 500kg of tnt does
@@westondelo643 I just though it was interesting because in Marvel vs. Capcom a "Happy Birthday" is when you get catch two of the opposing team in the same combo and/or K.O. them both and Grian got a double kill and said Happy Birthday and I don't watch too much Minecraft so I didn't know the terminology. TY...
I love Grians prank moto. " We prank hard, but we clean up harder." And also, if you do a destructive plank and you don't clean up, it's just grieifing.
Yup, like someone else on the server who killed Scar and destroyed ALL the materials he just spent hours gathering... This is how you prank! By also taking responsibility ❤
Its funny seeing Grian just walking to bdubs house to get building inspiration, meanwhile the saplings have grown and bdubs is paranoid someone was placing traps lol
Grian, always remember, you could always be only 1 more fish away from mending books! Every minute spent not fishing is a mending book that remains unfished
Doc should make a motivational radio station with things like "Did you fish enough today? The answer is always no. You could have done more" just like in last season
I can't stop cry-laughing over Keralis just flying off in the slow-mo take. He's making it to season 11 with this blast. I also appreciate how y'all will commit to these huge things but are always willing to be there to repair and replace anything, it makes this so much more fun to watch knowing no one goes away with a crater for a base and no armour/tools, so everyone can have a laugh, and it's a great example.
Everyone's talking about hypno and keralis but no one's mentioned the horse who went on an ENTIRE adventure in the span of 4 mins. Shoutout to him my guys
your horse actually demonstrated a very interesting thing with every mobs programming which tells them to prefer higher spaces, i assume to keep them out of caves and let them get out if they can, but this leads to funny things like this and seeing tons of animals high up while none are below
I _LOVE_ the collateral damage of Keralis just casually getting _whisked_ away just by the camera @26:07 - that playback and whole situation was _incredible_ and hysterically funny...! (≧▽≦)
I loved how when you said "they have a smashing chimney" it shows you walking off the edge of your base and the next clip is you with zero levels riding off😂😂😂😂😂
@alejandromarte9852 Right arm of Farm's (Impulse) Left arm of Chaos (Mumbo) Right leg of Slaying (Gem) Left leg of dedication (Joel) Grian the war Maker
I was watching Impulse's stream when this occurred. I also watched the explosion frame-by-frame. The funniest part was keralis just flying away after a bit
XB, the man who defied Joel's wrath twice, but was fated to be destroyed on the third and final attempt. Keralis being launched into the stratosphere was an added bonus.
he defied joel's wrath 4 times lol. 2 bombs, massive dripstone pit, and massive dripstone pit v2, with invis EDIT: 5 times, there was the smaller manually detonated blast. took joel 6 goddamn tries to kill xb, wow
26:00 An absolute cinematic masterpiece. Hypno flying away with the world crumbling beneath him, and Keralis being launched into space with the perfect utterly terrified facial expression.
Not to mention Pearl just saw it all happen right in front of her. It’s like that picture of a soldier’s thousand-yard-stare, but with Pearl instead of a soldier.
Gem built a fishing boat from a Lovecraftian horror game, Grian's obsessing over a book hidden in the sea... how long before eldritch horrors start sprouting out of the mountain?
Some real _The Shadow over Innsmouth_ type beats over here. How about Mumbo's house, which can only be entered by drowning yourself, and the fact there is a Fish Mafia running amok in the server?
One aspect of Hermitcraft that is so underappreciated is the complete lack of ego. Each Hermit takes meticulous pleasure in the effort and achievements of the other Hermits. This mutual respect and appreciation then spills out into the wider HC community making the HC SMP what it is
@@2008bunnydemibigenderfluxAnd Gem who puts signs at her base telling that she’s great…😅 Although, coming to think of it, she is great. Surely greater than Bdubs at least😂
Am I the only one who's noticed that since Grian joined five seasons ago, he's always been Mumbo's neighbour? S6 they had their islands outside the futuristic district, S7 they were both in the jungle. S8 they were both citizens of boatem. S9 they lived across from each other, and now in S10 they both live on CherryBlossom Plateau.
@@Rixsiwolflover I agree with you, he was sent flying into the air like he was shot out of a cannon, he probably was wondering what did that and it probably surprised him as well.
Wow how has my unoriginal comment gotten almost nine hundred likes in thirteen hours?! I mean it wasn’t unoriginal when I commented it, as I hadn’t read the comments yet, but everyone was talking about this and I’m just one of many, yet this comment is still very popular
Ah lovely. I’ve been botted. How nice. Please no one reply to them because I think that’s how they work: they spam more when people reply. Or maybe I’m completely wrong though it’s just a guess
I thought about this last episode, but I'm gonna say it this episode I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE WHO LOOKS AT GRIAN'S HOUSE AND THINKS OF PERRY THE PLATYPUS
This season 2 wonderful people joined, Grian's basing with super fun people and episodes are full of shenanigans. I love it so much. But I must point out that last time a season was this wonderfully perfect, the moon crashed into it.
There's a nice video from WhiteStoneJazz about the pathing, if you're interested. There's a way to make very steep staircases that the mobs will climb like their life depends on it.
“Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the honored one. The merit of having a technique that’s passed down for generations is having a user’s manual. The demerit is information about the technique is easily leaked. You were a member of the Crafted clan, Weren’t you? That’s why you know so much about the Explosive technique. However, even in the Grian clan, only a scant few know about this. Take the amplified and the reversal, then smash those two expressions of infinity to create and push out imaginary mass. Imaginary technique: OBLITERATE!!!”
Pearl's reaction to finding out they used 74 tnt was my favorite part of that whole exchange. The way she just kept repeating "74" in utter confusion and shock is great!
I love the random flying Keralis who did not sign up for these shinanigans lol. Also, love the slower pace for the builds. It's more relaxing to watch and Grian looks more relaxed building it too.
"Grian's Obliterate" channels unfathomable energy within its namesake, Grian, erupting in a blinding burst akin to an atomic detonation. Its devastating shockwave obliterates all nearby, leaving devastation in its wake. A grim testament to the wielder's sacrifice, this forbidden spell consumes Grian, unleashing a cataclysmic force that spares none within its radius, ensuring utter annihilation in its wake.
@@splaturials9156 Who cared? It literally only took 25 minutes for the land to be restored, and no one on the server was even bothered by it. They had fun, and that's literally all that matters.
Seeing your horse replay made me realise why rideable mobs seem to vanish in seconds when you take your eyes off them - they’re following the same “always go uphill” logic as the Ravagers were in Decked Out, but when we go looking for them we tend to assume they’d stick to the flat ground (like a real animal). Note to self: when you lose your horse, look for it on the highest bit of nearby land!
The color scheme of the house looks so nice! Teal, Orange/Yellow... and brown on top... wait... A teal house? *Grian added a brown chimney* PERRY the Teal house?!
I am usually a vanilla minecraft purist. But OMG the replay mod adds so much the scene watching pluto run away and having a slo mo replay of big B getting blown up. Keep up the good work Grain!
Those tired eyes remind me of someone from a not so distant past, a past where a moon is huge and no one sleeps…. But what is the worst that could happen? Good base and may the sea gods be ever in your favor!
