“The world is literally falling apart, gotta finish my base before there’s nothing left” is the most hermitcrafty thing I’ve heard.

I just realized this is exactly like the plot of Majora’s Mask. The last three episodes have been exactly like the three days shown in the game. The ground is shaking, blocks are flying, the music even changed to match what it was like in the game. The attention to detail is *chef’s kiss*

The shortest season I have ever seen of hermitcraft from Grian himself. Yet so sad it had to end so quickly I may have not watched a lot of this season but I will for next season.

Scar totally has a point about the refreshments when recruiting for a cult.

I wanna say something, imagine for like season 15 or something in the future, what if they return to a version of the season 8 world, all overgrown and a giant mountain in the center to represent the moon with grass grown over it . I think it’d be cool.

i love how they started to build a storyline in the background of the season. this has been the best season so far despite being so short. no debate! cant wait for it to come back!

I really hope the boatmen members find some really cool way to incorporate this ending into the beginning of season 9. Can’t wait for Hermitcraft to return!

The end animation was perfect. This whole episode made me feel attached and unable to look away. Curious on how they are gonna start next season but I have high hopes. Well done and thank you.

I'm watching this months late, but man.. 2:17 is a really good visual representation of what it feels like go days with no sleep. They say it takes 3 days to start hallucinating, and I have terrible insomnia to the point where I take a sedative medication that was prescribed just so I can sleep and the worst experience I had ever was the 3 day mark. I played a horror game with a few friends, I got trapped in the maze after my friends died and then I ran around and got jump scared and I fell off my gaming chair and just laid on my floor and cried. I had a mental breakdown and genuinely didn't even know what was real anymore. The physical and mental fatigue became too much and that night I finally passed out from exhaustion. So this part of the video really speaks to me as someone who physically can't fall asleep without strong medication. Although, I wished one night's sleep made everything better but it doesn't.

Incase you’re wondering why Grian was half a heart the whole time, because he asked Mumbo for a high five right before he died (which Mumbo killed him)

Best Segway to a new season ever, I didn’t even realize how quickly this season went by

Although this season is very short, it's also very pretty and amazing and as good as the past season. The magnificent build, terraforming, lore, humor, joke, the boatem pole, hexagon shenanigans, your shenanigans, just, everything is very nice. i especially love the builds, they have those just amazing vibe. Take your break, as long as you enjoy the season, we will also enjoy it.

This means the only way you should start hermitcraft 9 is with some type of cutscene of everyone falling out of the sky from portals

The world: ENDING Grian: Let me just finish some of my chores real quick

i’ve been binging all of hermit craft and this is by far my favorite season. i loved the boatem crew so much

Sad that this season was so short, I really wanted to see the adventures of Boatem! And who knows when a gigabase may happen on the server ever again?

It’s weird that when the world is literally ending, Grian is STILL building interiors.

I really enjoyed this series! It was my first time watching any hermitcraft content and any of your content and I have to say, it was really well put together! I love the vibe you had all season long of being a chaotic prankster and making sure that it was never too much / always helping in the clean up. Wholesome fun! Also, I found this series and your channel through the videos you've made with Smallishbeans, so I really hope that he'll appear in the next season of hermitcraft! He'd fit right in.

Rewatched this again last night, it's such a good episode. I loved the moon big plot a lot and I remember being so impressed the first time I saw the animation at the end and everything. Now I'm looking ahead into S9, but S8 was so special.

That… that was the coolest thing ever. Despite knowing what was coming since I’d seen some animations before, I slightly teared up seeing their lovely world that they created together slowly get torn apart… and that animation at the end, WOW! I was not expecting that! This season was genuinely incredible, and I loved it so so much. It holds a special place in my heart. ❤

I knew season 8 was short, but damn. I started _and_ ended this season today. Feels nice to finally get the context for all the clips I've been seeing.

I've been following hermitcraft since season 6 and I have to say that this has been amazing, and the end was astounding I loved everything about this season. Thank you for creating, and my subscription from o so long ago was definitely worth it. Can't wait for season 9!!!!!

EXTREMELY FUN FACT: Grian being on half a heart might've been planned. When they all fell into the Boatem Hole, Grian told Mumbo to hit him, which killed him, causing Mumbo to fail Peace, Love, and Plants AT THE VERY LAST SECOND.

Damn this season honestly felt so damn long despite being so short, feels like ages ago we were laughing about boatem being formed
