I think technically it’s an “irregular hexagon.” Hexagons are one of two types, regular (symmetrical) or irregular. It does resemble a trapezoid, though, but those are 4-sided.

@Jeffboi101 Mushrooms were tested on stream. They only produce light on the block they are placed on, so Impulse isn't selling them.

If only the pillar were five wide, it cold have a beacon shining up through it, and then another beacon light to the sky at each corner... That would literally alert everyone to the place, beacons lighting it up...

Also he's rude af goading people to make a good sign for him rather than just hiring a graphic designer. Wouldn't even be that hard. Worst case, the comments have ideas for the designer to follow. If these people want to monetize Minecraft as art, they should pay the artists they want to rely on. Even a pittance. Doc's fan art thing is mildly different, as he didn't ask and it came naturally. Fan art happens regardless.

​@@Direblade11 It's already hard enough for content creators to interact with their community when their community is so massive, but if people of the community have a chance to make a difference in a series they watch and love, then they'll strive for that chance because it makes them happy! Yes, I agree, paying them for their work if it makes it to the mapart would be nice. The keyword there is "nice" though. If he offers and they turn him down, thats fine. I don't know this for sure, but I think that the community would agree with me that if he didn't offer, but the artist mentioned it, he'd pay them (so long as its not for an unreasonable price anyway). The point is, you're making something that's he's asking from the community, not about the community. If he does use art from the community, I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled up a handful of runner ups with their tags. Or even better, it could come down to 5 or so options for, once again, the community to decide between. And I don't think people would appreciate you comparing hermits to other hermits either, although I'm gonna ask this. Why do you say mildly different? Does that mean you feel somewhat the same about his situation as this one or something else? I will say though, I don't typically watch Doc's videos, so frankly I don't know what you're referring to. Besides, the community's really talented, and that's what fan art is about. If they were against their art being seen or used by the creators they made it for, they wouldn't post it online. And I know that **does** **not** go for all artists. Maybe they wouldn't want their art on the series for whatever reason, and maybe some wouldn't want to do that if they weren't going to get paid reasonably for it, but for the majority of community artists I think that statement is valid.

@@monkebox3436 With doc showing fanart, it was a matter of people already having made it and he thought it was cool. With Impulse, he is *requesting* art to be made. It is mildly different as the difference is mild. My point is, artists are very easily exploited. Who wouldn't want to take 2-ish hours of their time using a skill they have for someone they appreciate and look up to? That's the exploitation. If someone has a valuable skill and you are asking for their work, pay them.

@@Direblade11 A lot of Impulse’s talented community would happily make fanart for him for free and do so on a regular basis. Exploitation has such a negative connotation and it makes it seem like you are saying he is horrible and exploiting his fans which he is not. If you watch any of his live streams people mention making art and stuff passively to him. They’ve also sent him stuff (which costed them money) like a crocheted among us doll. Also, he literally posted on twitter that he paid the person he picked for their map art work (and how he doesn’t appreciate comments like these trying to make him out to be a bad guy when he’s not). I’m guessing you don’t watch him that much/only on YT because if you watched him on twitch you would realize he’s definitely not the type to purposely exploit his audience.

some one else said torch, and while a candle is an EXCELLENT idea, a MineCraft torch can't get more iconic as THE original light source... both ideas are really good tho.

Squares have 4 EQUAL sides with 4 right angles. And if you truly cut an Octagon in half. You definitely are left with more than 4 sides. But it was funny.

Nah, the shop district was decided as a group after Spawn started filling up -> to be the Donut mountains. But this is the first episode that told us why nobody's been using the Donut for new shops
