Activating the rift and returning the Hermits to Hermitcraft should have the unintended consequence of sucking the Empires folks into Hermitcraft.

I think they should have the "portal" left open for at least a while, so they can visit back and forth sometimes. Would be kind of fun to just occasionally have Joel or someone show up and start harassing hermits during streams or something

I think Gem hit the armor stand faster than 1.5 seconds hence the moving of the raid center fails to run another raid.

I was coming on here to say the same thing. As one who has used this design, I can attest to the fact that if you hit the armor stand fast it breaks the raid.

Shubble has a very animated and layered voice. She could easily get work doing voices for cartoons. I can hear some grand potential there. If this whole YT thing falls through, she should definitely look into that field.

I've been following Empires and Hermitcraft separately, and at first I wasn't really sure about the cross-over. But I've grown to love it. But I miss Imp, Gem, and Pearl's bases, I miss Scarland, and all of the other stuff you guys had been building up to. It'll be bittersweet, but I'll be happy to get back "home".

The third stage of the beard kinda looks like youre smiling lol, also it makes sense that you’re slightly shorter since you’re a dwarf. With the raid farm not working for Gem, that happens to me all the time. There’s a small % chance that a new raid isn’t spawned each time you ‘complete’ a raid. So while it’s ramping up, there’s a chance it’ll fizzle out before it gets going. (I recommend having 2 captain boats as a safeguard)

nononononononononono I don't want the hermits to go home yet 😭It's been so much fun watching them collaborate on Empires. I'm fully aware they have projects to complete, but it still makes me sad to see them go. Edit: is there ANY CHANCE that the rift could stay open for some Empires rulers to cross into Hermitcraft, or for Hermits to occasionally visit Empires? Not keeping items, of course, because the Hermits would 100% crash the Empires economy. Think of the LORE!

I’m so sad to see the crossover end it’s been seriously so much fun and just so exciting to watch every bit of. So many new interactions and collaborations were able to happen because of it and now will unfortunately come to an end and might not ever be able to happen again when everyone gets back to work on their main series. Thank you guys for pulling it all together for us to enjoy!

When I´ve used that raid farm I have been able to ´turn it off´ by hitting the armour stand too fast, so that´s probably why it didn´t work for Gem

Raid farms usually break when there's more than 1 person at the farm. The same thing happened when I was playing with my friends on our server.

Maybe the soulsand on the shifting floor was "on" when the raid was trying to spawn? I did notice that Gem was hitting the armor stand faster than what Ian recommended though so maybe the job change on the villagers didn't work properly too. You can also just use axe to kill one captain on the bank though so you can at least have 2 chances to turn on the raid farm.

With the farm, since I have the same one, I have found swinging too fast can cause problems like what you saw. She was swinging much faster than 1.5 seconds, so maybe add the light timer for her to prevent that.

I've really enjoyed the crossover--both seeing the Hermits interact with the Empires and see the Hermits work together on a single, giant project--but I will be glad to see everyone back on Hermitcraft. There were so many cool projects there that I'd like to see completed. Also, VintageBeef and XB really need some others around to keep them sane.

I think it is really interesting that some of the Hermits machines aren't working for the Empires members. Like the raid form won't work for Gem and the smelter won't work for Fwhip. I can't wait to see what happens next when it opens

This was very much my favorite part of Hermitcraft yet. I was kinda disappointed there haven't been as many server-wide shenanigans going on as you have on hermitcraft AND THAT THE ECONOMY WAS NEVER BROKEN! But all in all I loved it but I get why you have to go back. People like Doc probably want to go home hahahha
