If you're using Sodium and Iris shaders than that's the issue, there's a bug where any falling block crashes the game, the only fix as of right now is installing another mod called Indium

Admittedly doc's entire episode was spent cleaning up the ~13,000 chickens, and he only managed to "return to sender" around 2,000 chickens. Although doc's next episode will be surounding the perimeter with sand on pistons with clocks, if grian dares to enter he will be crashed off the server.

The Flying machine doesn't turn into an entity, just Moving Block blocks (and the bamboo drops also can't be the issue because plenty of items drop at other times in the episode and he's fine)

The sniffer would've made him crash, breaking any block (like a shulker at the beginning) would've crashed him, many instances where blocks turned into entities were in the video, so it can't be that. I personally think that someone else on the server was placing falling blocks while they were talking.

I think this is all a bit staged for content. But generally the hermits a bit before we're kinda voting for a new world. I think this is the "final act" Buttercups vs Goat Alliance which ends the server with everyone's bases being blown up with tnt. Which of course would look very cinematic and you would have to individually go to each channel to see the base get blown up.

The reason your Minecraft client is crashing when block falls is because you don’t have Indium installed. I recon you have Sodium mod but without Indium it crashes. Funny enough I had the same issue just recently while transferring to 1.20 and indium wasn’t out yet.

I had the crashing bug! Might not be what's causing it for you, but for me it was when I had the mod Continuity and Sodium installed, but forgot to install Lithium. Getting Lithium fixed it.

The crashs are maybe caused by a mod named "entity culling" (or a similar mod). I had the same problem, but update it with the latest version and it should be alright.

You could also rename the sniffer to El Chupacabra (the mythical Mexican goat sucker) Also the reason why the little sniffer is called a snifflet is because mojang didn't want a mob to be called a "baby sniffer" or "child sniffer" for obvious reasons

I had a problem where falling blocks would crash my game. I think it had to do with the fabric mods around Sodium and Continuity. If you have these 2 mods then you will also need the mod Indium, or else falling blocks will crash your game.

For the sakes of cleaning, Your issue is with the Continuity Mod and Sodium. If you want to use both mods, use the Indium mod or stop using Continuity. I had the same issue when I had both mods loaded

Grian, you should enlist the Soup Group and expand the Buttercup base. Gem especially loves the pastel colors and that might be all the coaxing you need.
