Glad to see you braved the mobs that were making a racket while I was building the bottercup. The cut to you with two arrows sticking out of you was poetic.
Between the Live Laugh Love wall art and the hanging butterflies in the Perimeter, Doc is just a pumpkin spice latte away from a perfect 2012 suburban mom aesthetic.
I always miss things when watching other minecraft youtubers, so knowing that, no matter what, Grian is going to have _accurate_ and color-coded captions ready whenever he posts is certainly a relief.
i waited to watch this episode until the captions were added. i love them so much and wish all youtubers would do them, but yeah it's a lot of work so totally understand those who don't. but i appreciate having proper subtitles so much!
I think a fun prank would be to 'draw' some flowers and cute doodles on Doc's flag lol Scar already has a vendetta over it (cause it looks horrific from Scarland), might as well make it cuter and buttercuppy
I was gonna say that if he didn’t give it to doc the prank could have been avoided but I fret to imagine what he would have done instead of the dragon egg prank
Apparently, Doc has said on Twitter that he absolutely loathes motivational writings written in cursive, so this might've unintentionally been the most effective prank Grian has done on him so far.
I think tango's room needs a bit more indication that it's abandoned. The bookshelves need some sort of decay effect, and a set of chairs and tables showing people were working for the iron golem
Little detail, but I absolutely love how you color the subtitles for each hermit. It makes it so much easier to track who's talking. Tysm for adding that little tidbit!!
I can't believe doc was actually genuinely angry with the Live laugh love sigh saying it's shallow and he hates shallow things and the fact that it was in cursive 😂
For tango's room just change the stone to deepslate or other dark stone variants it will help giving more sinister vibes and feel like it's the depth of the labyrinth
I felt the same way looking at it; the gray stone was just too bright, a darker shade would really integrate it better with the shelves and the ceiling. I was thinking Blackstone specifically, with a few small patches of gilded Blackstone, but any form of darker block would probably be able to work.
I was going to put a comment saying the same thing, but i already knew that it would be pointed out by someone already Gradients in the room might just do the trick so it looks a bit more *detailed?
You can't put dispensers on the robot, but you could hide sculk powered dispensers under moss carpets on the robot's path. That way when it walks by you get fireworks.
@@brickie9816 If they could make a cannon that shoots things forward we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place, 'cause then they could've just rebuilt Doc's tunnel bore. XD
Just to point out, when complimenting Tango for Decked Out, that the Deep Frost Citadel is in itself one of the most glorious builds in this season, and was the subject of but a single episode. Tango has been monumental this season, and DO2 is going to be wild…
The way you did the 'live laugh love' sign with the multiple layers to make it look better via the shading is actually the same technique used in truetype fonts for rendering to make them look curvy and less blocky; it's called sub-pixel hinting or sub-pixel rendering
Usually I really love your builds, but Im not sure if the decked out room is finished. the whole look of decked out so far is very realistic/toned down colors, so some of the choices clash with it. Pearl did a rebuild too, so would be cool to see something more time intensive:D i think its good content to watch
Second thought. Please make custom music discs of the buttercup's laughing with a massive block radius because apparently you can change that with the plug in, and hide them all around the perimeter with different timings and or triggers. The massive radius could make them very difficult to track down and it would be hilarious to watch doc try and track them down and getting very flustered with the interruptions.
it wont work because doc uses that mod where it lets you go in spectator. i guess its allowed in hermitcraft, but i see doc most of the time exploiting it
@@austinrinto146Almost every hermit has a spectator camera account on Hermitcraft (even Doc) but Doc and Ren and other hermits (i think Tango) use Freecam instead
yeah freecam thats what i meant.. he uses it for every single thing which ruins the point of hermitcraft imo.. tango only uses it for builds, but its obvious that if this idea was implemented then doc would obviously use freecam to locate where the sound is coming from rendering the prank useless @ahmed4363
Was watching S7 where he was making "Mumbo for Mayor" map and then i wake up and see this "live, laugh, love" sign and i must say Grian is insanely good at making these things related to writing in Minecraft .I absolutely love it ❤️
you should decorate the three non-powder sides of the pot with whatever Sherd designs come close to "live, laugh, love" probably Plenty, Friend, and Heart
Probably been suggested before, but you should dye all your shulker boxes a grey color so they can look like tons of rocks whenever you have a shulker monster growing!
This is giving massive turf war energy. Back when viewers had to rush around and watch everyone’s episodes because things were developing so quickly and on different fronts. I do desperately hope scar retextures some spider eyes as buttercup cookies and leaves them as a “gift” for the perimeter though
Not sure how placing 63,536 blocks would be a prank on Doc considering he could wipe them out with a boring machine much faster than they could place them. 😂
It'd be better if they went down into the hole and put a bunch of bone meal-ed moss patches, and a few bone meal-ed saplings into trees, it would require less work and they can joke about it being natural reforestation.
My only problem with the decked out room is that you made a room focused on making/studying iron golems, put plants in it, but didn't place a single poppy. (as far as I could tell)😢
This episode has just the right balance of planning a prank, pulling off a prank, cleaning up a prank and actually doing something productive. DECKED OUT 2 WILL BE OUT BEFORE THE END OF THE DECADE AT THIS RATE!
Really nice work on the cursive text, I expected a different style pot and was pleasantly surprised by this one, I keep forgetting about the new pots. Love the Decked Out room, the signs as ladders is a great idea!
the variety of contributions that each hermit brings to the table is amazing. Minecraft playstyles I had never thought of. I love these girls and guys!!!
I’ve been waiting for this video to see if Grian actually kept crashing. Happy to know that he found the problem but didn’t fix it to see who would mess with him. It’s like the AFK thing all over again 💀 Bonus: he actually used it to get out of cleaning like I thought he was doing 😂
Grian, if you put the redstone torch on top of the piston, then the torch will break automatically once the piston extends. This might make the egg cleaning a bit faster. Amazing video as always! 😊
10:31 "so you'll make the big robot of death, I shall make the flower pot that it sits in, and you handle the cookies" dont forget that he has to clean up every egg on all 3 bases loll
I have a suggestion for the decked out room if you ever feel the need to go back and redo the ceiling. Maybe scatter some slabs and stairs by the rocky walls to make it seem like they're magically breaking off into the void-ish ceiling. The wood side looks like the wood branches off into the void already, so it's just a nice new concept to think of. Like the ceiling is a magical void that's there for asthetics. You could probably also add some depth too if you feel the need to make it not flat with the suggested slabs and stairs. Just an idea though.
Yeah i also feel like you can change the area in between the magical ceiling and the wooden parts a bit by adding some stone blocks there to make it feel like they are connected
I think the stone side should also be darker, like it feels too bright to be menacing and evil, maybe have it lighter at the bottom and darker at the top. Maybe even a stone to deepslate gradient
The decked out room looks awesome, maybe you could add some skulk vein to make it look more abandoned and give it a story, like an experiment gone wrong
For the decked out room, i think if you change the stone to deepslate could help a little with making it more evil/ sinister which i think fits decked out perfectly.:D Saw a few comments pointing this out and thought i would too!
I think that problem with cave side that it has strict 90 degree ceiling. And a stone that has little detalisation on it. Maybe some cobblestone would break the wall down a little bit. And MAYBE a little brick-block. All thouse books are really small details to be faced to just pure stone. BTW I LOVE the room. It`s a very nice place to be.
