lol... Serral had a 50 supply lead on hero at one point, a good amount of that was in workers too. At the end of the fight, he has only a 19 army supply advantage. Roaches being so supply heavy, this isnt great for serral, but obviously hes able to rebuild so much better because hes a macro and harass god and has a 20 worker lead despite losing a base...
Winter thanks for doing these uploads because I wasn't able to watch everything live, and it's really nice to just get the games without all the extra ads and stuff in-between
Hero losing game 1 is like the proof that even with that kind of micro, similar supply, better upgrades : Protoss still loses the game and the fights. While having same economy as the zergs. And somehow blizzard finds a way to nerf Protoss even harder. Like it doesn't take somebody to be a genius to see the Zerg cabal at this point.
@@arankoka I mean that, in the fight, he played way better had a comp that should easily win this fight against Serral's composition. He picked up the collosi back with the prism had a very good split, even supply and better upgrades and still lost the fight and the game at 11:XX which is a shame to me considering how much better he played
Hero came up with great builds and timings, bit Serral's cool head, experience, and adaptability were amazing. The main battle was incredibly close in both games
This is what I wish was meta for protoss, just sheer blink stalker colossus micro. But even with that impecabble micro it just doesn't work out. #BuffColossus
i think there should be no meta, and both do and should not excel vs roaches/vipers/lurker/ultra/corruptor/... stalkers are very useful and good per supply, at the cost of terrible dps
I feel hero is severely underrated compared to other pro players. I seariously love seeing him play its gives me hope for protoss in the pro scene after they struggle so much.
I don't think you can do much against ravagers, roach, and zergling...if you have something that can breaks the zergling but they can't tank the roach or ravagers.
It's not 'the Zerg'... it's Serral specifically. He's just extremely good. I play Zerg in GM and get steamrolled all the time by Toss and Terran (obviously).
