I am level 87 web player but as I know... Aurora (best tank for dodge/mage teams) Astaroth (revival! useful many times, Yas vs Helios fights for example) Yasmine (for middle game and bosses and campaign) Jhu (for Osh and Grand Arena timeout team) Dante (220% physical attack modifier? O_O Yes, please) Celeste (best single-target healer) Isaac (best mage teams counter probably? and for Osh) Sebastian (to remove stuns, charms, watermarks, torment...) Jorgen (for Grand Arena timeout team) Martha (best healer for longer fights & Grand Arena timeout) Orion (Outland) Dorian (Outland) Helios (best Yasmine counter) Keira (for Outland) Jet (Outland) (Arachne, Lian, Corvus or Andvari are useful, twins are always dangerous, Iris or Karkh are top tier damage dealers, but they are not necessary to be competitive. I mean you dont build all best damage dealers together, you pick some) Pet strategy Axel as a team pet against mages + Cain as a team pet against physical teams + Albus for Osh. These 3 only to level up seriously. Right number for Grand Arena also. Cain for my Dante/Aurora tank, Nebula without patronage, Orion with Axel, Iris with Albus and Dorian without patronage is main team I build)
Dude, this is one of you most 'this talks to me' videos. Excellent, clear presentation, no waste but not boring and really useful as I have found Helios (always thought it was a she? and the LAst thing I would do is misgender someone) to be amazingly strong at the back with Jasmine and others but I was shooting blind for so long. I get it now, his usefulness I mean and more importantly why. Ah man, this has opened up the next level of understanding of how to approach Hero Wars. Well, this plus I decided to do a year 'free play' after a year of spending moderately - maybe $30 per month. My focus on the management of resource gives me more insight than when I could just throw krystals at a problem.
Aurora-Yasmine-Maya-Nebula-Helios. It's not a team, but I use to fight with them in my second acount. In my opinion those are the top 5 heroes of the game. You MUST level up Helios because he's a strong counter to any physical damage team.
I've been leveling up my Helios ever since I got tired of my Karhk 85K team getting smashed by Keira blender crit teams. Helios is 71K right now. It's never a sure win but I have been having success against 95K Keira crit teams. I've maxed out both MA skins and working intelligence now. I'll mix it up pairing Helios and Karhk with Lian or Luther or both.
He is a hero I've been wanting to invest more in. Thanks for the video and information, I was originally going to focus on health first for him because he dies first in my team.
The more I hear bout this game the more the main strategy sounds like: level up the heroes nobody is considering ...sooner or later they’ll be upgrade/updated/renovated and they’ll become a top 10 lol....great video ....it has been quite enlightening to fight back jasmine, thx
Helios in atm my main hero after tanks. It's crazy how I can hunt Yasmine with him. Paired with Cain, specially in manual mode, I can beat far higher teams with Yasmine and my server is full of them. Great video, congratz!
Def suggest health before anything else, Helios is one of those who if not a main hero are swapped in for a purpose. If the hero can't live, they aren't worth being there for their utility. Especially with how common Yasmine is these days, and Helios being such an amazing counter to her.
Working on lvling him now...just finished getting Orion up to speed and then my next stop is Dorian but I'm starting to see a lot of blender teams on my server and even cross server now that my guild has gotten to Gold so I'm putting high priority on Helios because they are shredding my main team in literal seconds...
Hmm, when I asked other players, many said Health and many said Mag att. I did both, health and other defence glyphs maxed first and mag att skin first 😅
Actually you do need him. He's become one of the mandatory heroes at high level and even more so at max power. He's crucial vs crit and/or Sebastian-buffed teams and pretty much your only counter against a maxed Yasmine.
I got lucky and got Helios in the chest. I haven't worked with him much though. I haven't found him that useful so far, but as he is still low level that isn't surprising. Very few heroes show their true value until they have unlocked all their skills.
I really want to level Helios for a (as expected) Orion/Dorian/Helios team! Dorian was on my main physical team for a long time, so he is very leveled up right now. Just need Helios, who is currently level 1
What's your reasoning for Magic attack before Magic penetration on tanks? Only 2 tanks, Aurora and Lilith, have penetration gylphs and in both cases I think you would want the penetration over the attack.
